Recently I brought a Microsoft 32 Surf Ace, obviously I liked the product that's why I brought it. It had everything I wanted, the windows 8, it's compact and it's light weight and I can use it anywhere. When I started using it, it was fine until started typing on word documents the screen freezed up. I tried turning it off it would not turn off. Once the batteries died out, I recharged it and turned it on again, I did the same thing again, to test out if it freezes when I type it did again. I brought this to do a online course, if it keeps doing that I would not able to do the course. So after 4/5 attempts I have decide to take it back. I went and explained to the customer service people , they said since I am saying it is faulty they need to test out the fault before giving exchange or refund. So I said if that the case go ahead and test it. Now they are saying they can't seem to find any faults. I have taken it on last Sunday, today is Friday, first three days no one contacted me eventually the manager of the store left a voice message saying they could not find any fault. Now it's my word against there's . When I initially took it the manager did not believe he made me look as if I was telling him a lie, now the tablet is still with them, I did not go to pick it up as I am very angry and frustrated with the whole experience. Going in there waiting around to be seen, then wait around for them to test it out, then wait around for them to call me, and now after all this waiting they could not come solution. My initially purchase warranty ends in two days time, when they kept the tablet I knew they would not able to detect the freezing part, but they still kept it . I spent £279.00 on that surf, my deadlines for the course is tomorrow. These people wasted my time and money, for this reason I will never ever will shop in curry's again. Their customer service is crap, unless they improve drastically their company will go down.
