Incompetent

What a waste of a day, Currys were supposed to deliver a fridge freezer to day betwwen 7.00 and 11;00. Of course by 11:00 there was no sign of the delivery. Rang to ask were the delivery was and was told it would be in half an hour as it was scheduled as number 15 on the route and the driver was at number13. At 1:00 still no sign, rang again and told in the next half an hour. The whole process repeated at 2:00.. Finally at 2:35 the delivery arrived. This late delivery caused problems as I had appointments from 1:00 onwards which had to be cancelled.
To make matters worse the fridge when unpacked had scratches down the side which would be visible when installed. The driver stated that the item could be sent back or a refund given. Rang Currys and was offered £35, less than 10% of the item price, despite the fact that it would cost Currys more than that to take the item back and replace with a new fridge freezer. Told to ring tomorrow and speak to a manager if I wanted a bigger discount. I can not afford to take more time off work so I am not at all happy with the service provided by Currys.
I would give the company zero stars or a negative star rating if I could.
I will certainly be looking else where when I next buy electrical goods
