Totally disgusting customer service! I've washed my hands of you currys
I purchased a dishwasher in December 2012 and the spotty sales ass... Ordered us the wrong one. We also purchased know how protection for the appliance but little did I realise, when they credited and reordered the correct product, the know how cover was cancelled and not reinstated.
The product is a curry essentials brand 60cm dishwasher and has been working alright for 1 year, then at 1 week past the manufacturers warranty period, it started to not pump out dirty water.
I thought I had know how cover, so rang them and they pretty much told me to pay or go away.
I tried customer (not very) service who told me that it's ok and that basically I should don my rubber gloves and get washing up as a dishwasher is a luxury item and not an essential item, such as a cooker or fridge!!!!! REALLY!!!
It's now been over 4 weeks of speaking to obstructive and not very helpful staff in call centres and store staff where I purchased the product who don't want the hassle because it's down to the customer service team to deal with now.
I will never buy another product from here, and will stick to smaller buying groups such as Euronics centres where the staff care, because they realise that customers that buy things, stop them from closing down or going into liquidation..... As happened with comet!
