The price is low, at the mean while, their service is at the same standard as their price, what's more, I bought a mouse from there, and received a damaged one at first, then after insulting, I received the replacement almost 10 days later(with a post cost of £7), after using for a month, the mouse's faulty again, Then I asked for a full refund, which goes pretty tough as they promised a refund but sent me another replacement, I phoned them angrily for the full refund or a full accusation, finally I got my money back through ebay, but that would take another 3 days to transfer!! I spent £10 in total on delivery, they promised to cover these cost but I really doubt that.
Ordered online where delivery was initially given as '1-3 days', which turned into '1-3 days after processing' after completing order. 4 days later I was told my order had been dispatched. When it had not arrived 4 days after this I contacted Dabs to find out what was happening, was told it was coming directly from their supplier, they would contact the supplier but it would take 48 hours to get a response. 5 days later, after more emails and phone calls, I was advised that they were unable to supply my order as it had been discontinued. I was left feeling that I I hadn't pestered them I would still be sitting here waiting for something to arrive.
Just to rub salt into the wound, during this time I received an email from Dabs asking me to review my purchase!!

I ordered two products from dabs.com after 4 days I had received no despatch email and the paypal payment was pending so i contacted dabs via email they responded the next day saying the items werre out of stock. would have been nice for them to have told me that in the beginning but o well i asked them to cancel my order as the items were needed urgently. i received no contact for a couple days at which point i received a despatch email. i then received the items today( 4 days after despatch email) so i called dabs and asked what was going on and the customer service agent was rather rude and said that I did not cancel the order until after the items were despatched even though I sent the mail more than 24 hours before i received the despatch email. this is now going to cost me more money to return the items as the accept no responsibility for sending the items after i cancelled the order. Would not recommend Dabs.com at all

I have used DABS on countless occasions for little things right up to a Samsung TV and never had any issues with service, deliveries, poor pricing blah blah.
The Samsung TV had a fault on delivery, contacted DABS, the TV was picked up the next day and the following day a replacement was delivered. I can not fault them.
none delivery of goods on a premium delivery , waited in all day and i paid through the nose for the delivery slot, will reorder with amazon
Very unhappy with, the service from dabs. I ordered late on Thursday night and selected Saturday delivery, and they somehow managed to miss the Friday deadline.
Its now Tuesday, and my package is still in Manchester according to royal mail, and I live in Oxford.
I hope dabs put my money to good use, but i wont be using them again, that's for sure. You shouldn't have to wait a week when you ask for next day, its appalling.
I strongly discourage everyone from using this company and spending any money at all in dabs. They sell faulty products on frequent basis, they completely ignore enquiries and have very rude customer service representatives. Waste of money and energy.
Ive bought 3 things from dabs now, and not had any problem at all. The first two things were computer cases on seperate times. These arrived well within the time frame i was expecting. And most recently i bought a graphics card after having my order cancelled elsewhere. The card arrived the very next day.
I was shocked to see the negative reviews when i came on here, but my theory is, people only want to leave a review for somewhere if theyve had a bad experience. If people have an average experience like i assume most people do, it doesnt cross their mind to leave a review.
Either way, fantastic service, good packaging and great prices.
I would recommend Dabs
Usual thing as a lot of companies doing at the moment thanks to sites that post deals etc. Post product at a low price, get orders in (and hopefully some additional items in the basket), pretend it was a "system error" - makes me laugh, having worked with EPoS and E-Commerce systems for over a decade it's not systems, its people that make the mistakes - then the inevitable waiting to get your money back if you pay with Paypal or similar as they have held the funds at a pending state.
I now just avoid companies if they do this and don't shop there again. Not a great tactic for future sales, YOU need customer goodwill, not the other way round.
15th December, order £116 of parts, pay via PayPal Express Checkout (the clue is in the name)
Come 25th December, money is still pending from my PayPal account., and the only contact I have from Dabs is the email confirmation from PayPal (so nothing from Dabs at all)
Research on the PayPal Help centre shows that this means the vendor is yet to process the payment (i.e. not PayPal taking the mickey)
Order cancelled on 26th Dec, re-ordered from Amazon and arrived within 2 days.
Lesson learnt.
I stupidly ordered the wrong item by mistake and was in a panic as it was a Christmas present, The customer service staff could not have been more helpful and sorted everything out for me without any fuss. i will definately use this company again and would recommend them to anyone.
Ordered several items in early November, arrived in terrible condition, not just the courier's fault (Yodel, who are also poor in my experience) - poor initial packing was primarily to blame. Items faulty so immediately demanded a re-order, which due to another error was late. One customer service agent lied to me about it's location to get me off the phone. Also arrived in terrible if not worse condition, same packing problems, different courier (Tuffnells this time - avoid like the plague).
Even after almost a month I was today sent a letter demanding an account payment on the re-order, even though I had already paid, it turns out that they refunded the returned items without telling me and I now have to re-pay. Dabs saving grace was the customer service agent who eventually got all this sorted and issued a fast re-order, the rest of the transaction was bad.
I do not recommend this company for fragile items, or anything actually. I have ordered via Scan and their deliveries are very well packaged and come via a courier (DPD) who gave me an hour window for delivery.
Obviously people like myself are only compelled to review like this when there are issues and stressors, however looking at the overall score for this company seems to be quite telling.
ADDITIONAL REVIEW:
As a goodwill gesture DABS gave me a £20 voucher, so I thought I would use it to buy some low value items. Amusingly the voucher doesn't cover the delivery cost, and unsurprisingly the order took around 12 days to arrive, including a non-commicated delay for an out of stock item. Seriously, I strongly advise against using this company.
This place is one of the best pc parts site in IRELAND maybe not everywhere else. I get most of my parts here and they arrive as said they would. The only thing that would be better would be a better delivery service/option (next day) even though they are in UK Pixmania.ie are in France and I always get next day from ordering but I love Dabs' delivery price (0$) and the range of products they got.
Where to begin, order went through VERY smoothly, got an email the next day around 9AM (basically starting time) saying my order is on its way to the courier, so postage was insanely fast considering I didn't pay a penny.
Customer communication is fabulous, they work very well within the customer service department and have such a friendly service.
Great unbeatable prices, everything I wanted I could get on here but around 10-40 GBP Cheaper.
So to sum it all up, the company is amazing and do not listen to other reviews!
I made the order 10 days a go and still waiting for it to arrive when you log in it says still processing. I also went to the deals page and selected a hard drive which when in basked says unavailable... I don't get it. They spend so much money on marketing and don't look at the most important point. ONLINE ORDERS.
On Tuesday I made an order on the Dabs website. I can't remember when exactly but I'm fairly sure it was in the very early afternoon.
At 6PM after I'd finished for the day I receive an email saying that my card has been declined (it turned out my bank wanted to check I had really made this purchase). I thought it was *very* strange that my card was declined *hours* after I made the order... why was it not processed immediately as it is on all other online retailer websites?
On Wednesday morning at 11AM I followed the instructions in the email and asked them to resubmit the transaction on my card. Yet they did nothing.
This morning I called customer services and was told that no one had acted on my Wednesday request. Rather exasperated I asked for them to just resubmit it now, but I was told that this was impossible because the people who do that don't get in to the office until the afternoon!!
On any other website this would have all been resolved on Tuesday as it would have happened automatically. Dabs it seems prefers to have people type in people's card details by hand? Is that right? Does that mean they record people's CCV2 numbers? And why is it that the people who process their transactions don't even work full time? This is atrocious.
My order was processed finally at about 5PM, a full three days longer than it would have taken at any retailer like Amazon.
I did make a complaint on their website. They deleted part of my post, then took the time to explain that I'm not allowed to mention Amazon... yet they never bothered to answer any of the criticisms above, or apologise and say how they're going to improve.
Everyone should avoid Dabs.

Bought a faulty motherboard that didnt boot so sent it back they said that it was "CPU mount pins have been damaged. This is consistent with user damage from misshandling. Not covered under warranty" but the thing is that i checked it before return and it was fine. The engineers from dabs broke the pin and blamed me. I will probebly go to court now.
DONT TRUST THEM
Early experiences were not so good- if you had a problem, it was hard to get to talk to an actual human, and the "e-ticket" system seemed to be very delay-prone.
Not used for a while, but the experience was decidedly better, and when I had an issue with a purchase it was sorted without quibble.
I placed an order for a graphics card on 24/3/12 and had a discount applied.
It was constantly delayed due to supplies and I emailed Dabs frequently to enquire what was happening. I received mostly garbled replies ensuring it would arrive if I would wait. Today (23/6/12) I checked the status and found it was "Cancelled" with no explaination! I have found their service to be utterly appalling and have vowed never to use them again.
Complete waste of time and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
You can sometimes buy in their shop products in good prices, that is the reason I bought from them my Seagate 2TB green, the disc failed after few months, and when you try to contact them they made up senseless excuses, they don't even talk correct sentences just senseless words which you later put together as meaning ''no sorry'' there is no warranty talk with manufacturer. As they say they are not trained to offer you other product in place of broken one. As when you loose 2TB precious data isn't enough you will end up with empty wallet.
I agree dabs.com might know how to sell you a product but that is where they finish their job. And as with every company making business in this way you can read up on their website dozen of comments from supposedly satisfied customers and off course only positive ones how wonderful the company is
Dabs seem to be getting bad press but i dont see why.. I have just ordered a draytek router and it came in 2 working days. Before that a radeon hd 7870 and that was next day. I will use this company again. Very good service.
I not long ago ordered a computer component from Dabs, the price was very competitive and the website was easy to navigate. My item arrived quickly and in great condition, it was a very positive experience and I would consider using them again the next time I am looking for a product.
No problems atall.
I needed some computer parts very urgently, I ordered about £500s worth of parts from Dabs. The first order was cancelled so i had to wait three days for the money to come back in to my account. Was quite annoyed, now had a very slim chance of getting computer built by the weekend,I thought i would place the order again once the money was back in my account as it was the only money i had, I placed the order again, and phoned them up to make sure it had past the security check as it had failed the first time.
Nice lady on the phone told me i had to wait two weeks because one of the parts was not in stock. DAMN!!!!!!
I needed a machine fast and was hoping for the next day delivery dabs offer. They gave me the option the first time but not the second.
I told her to cancel the order because i couldn't wait that long, as i needed those parts very urgently.
Now after cancelling the order i have to wait an additional 3-28 days before i get money back in to my account so i can place another order.
I use my computer mainly for design work at university so its not like i can use any machine, I need a fast rendering machine which i don't have and now also very poor design work , these 3d drawings in microsoft paint dont look very interesting guys.
thankyou very much dabs.
Last August (2011) I ordered around £1000 of computer parts from Dabs.com. Biggest mistake I ever made. The first thing that happened is the ordering process was interupted a few times, So I didnt know if I had made 4 orders for the same items or 1. I tried to contact dabs via email and via contact forms on their website. Absolutely no response for 3 days. I then went to the website, and I phoned them but for some reason they didnt think they were talking to someone with authority to query the order.
In the end my order missed its delivery date and I cancelled the whole thing. The cost me 5 days of stress and worry and even when I gave them a chance to put things right they still hadnt a clue what they were doing.
they dont answer emails, site enquiries, you name it they dont want to know
AVOID AVOID AVOID
I bought a laptop for my girlfriend for Christmas from Dabs, which within six weeks went faulty. We tried to contact them on various occasions
By e mail and by phone and just got fobbed off, with excuses or asking for information that we had already given them. In the end got nowhere with them after many attempts and have ended up having to have laptop repaired by Fujitsu, who have had it for three weeks now.
I've dealt with Dabs for many years now and have always received consistantly good service and quality items. On the rre occasions I've had to return an item (usually due to me ordering the wrong item) hey have always been very helpfula dn refunded immediately once the item was received back.
I would highly recommend this company and will be continuing to purchase from them in future
ordered a edge10ef 190b, and paid express delivery, arrived 27 hours after ordering on line, can,t get much better than that.
I bought a very nice looking Samsung Pebble and they delivered a Samsung ugly son of a gun, what a way to rid yourself of rubbish stock that don’t sell, sell it to some poor sucker 2 days before xmas, swear oh did I!
Just another con merchant company out there, I'm stuck with a monitor I don’t like and don’t want, inferior model for gaming and cheaper than the one I ordered by £30, so I’m out of pocket by £30 loads of hassle and no xmas pressie, they didn’t want to know....bunch of C U next tuesdays!!!
Never will I ever use this poor excuse for a company again.
No matter how cheap the offer is I will stick to Ebuyer and Aria in future!!
I build hundreds of computers and spend thousands on parts for repairs so their loss and only make the mistake once.
The rest can get stuffed and go bankrupt and you will like the jokers Dixons.
PC Word and Pixmania are next to go bankrupt, customers leave in droves at poor customer service.....not rocket science is it!

I have used this company many times, The Items I have ordered have arrived quickly but packaging can be lacking. My most recent order I specified a day for delivery because I wasn't in, but the package turned up in less than 24hrs. Impressive speed but not much good if your not in. Luckily a family member was at home at the time of delivery. The item I had ordered arrived in a robust box but was far to big and had no packaging to stop it rolling around. Again I was lucky the manufacture had done a better job with its own packaging so the item arrived in good condition.
In general the company are fast and cheap but dont always follow delivery instructions. packaging can arrive well boxed but on occasions like my last order in a big empty box left to rattle around.
The service is fine but the site can be a bit confusing. The filters aren't very clear. Prices are pretty good though!
I ordered a Canon Scanner as the price seemed very reasonable, and the website indicated they were in stock. Having heard nothing for a week, and my order status on their site was still given as 'Processing', I had to write to them. Discovered they were actually out of stock, and had no idea when new stock would be in. Despite all the spiel on their site about how they will inform you if they don't have the stock, and let you know when it is expected to be in, I got the impression they were actually trying to hide the fact - possibly hoping to hang on to my order until such time that they did obtain the stock. Quite disappointing compared to dealings I've had with most other Internet companies. I've since cancelled my order, and obtained the item from another source - a few pounds more, but at least I'll get it! Sorry, I can't see any reason to give this company more than a 1 star rating.
Addendum: Subsequently ordered the item from Oyyy - 11am Thurs using their 'Free postage service'. The item arrived 10am Friday!! Less than 24 hours - now that's more like it!
I bought from them quite few times, always upgrading my PC's with their parts, was not happy when they used couriers who could not deliver parcel to me when i wanted it to and ended up driving 30 miles to their depo to collect it but i still ... Eventually the Graphic card i bought from them which i spent £400.00 on went faulty. When i phoned them up for support they told me to contact manufacturer as its over year old. i said fair play i will, When i asked for the details of who to contact they told me to find out myself....they did not provide any support what so ever i ended up writing a complaint letter which they have never responded to. Their Customer service is full of rude, unexperienced people who do not know how to deal with customers, I will never even buy anything from them and will always send my customers elsewhere.
Since becoming part of BT this company's service has deteriorated and they have consistently sent me spam for months.
Employ a competent online marketing executive and stop annoying your existing customer base.
Fantastic company, only ever had 1 problem which took a while to fix but tht's the joy of online sales. Excellent website, good prices, quick delivery and 99% of the time received in working order, unlike overclockers.co.uk who are the opposite.
I use this site along with Scan and between them they meet all my PC component needs.
Very customer friendly, I rate these guys very highly!
