After 2 weeks of tring to contact dsvronline to find out where my boots were I contacted the ecustomer satisfaction site. within minutes of my review being publishrd on line tthey responded. I asked for my money back and I got it. since then I am receiving emails from them asking me to remove the review. as a consumer I am entitled to share my shopping experiences good and bad. Davronline are a very unproffesional set up and now want to play games with me via email instead of sorting themselves out.
WE ORDERED A COUPLE ITEMS FROM DAVRLONLINE EVEN HAVING READ SOME OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS...PRODUCTS WERE VERY GOOD AND UP TO THE DESCRIPTION AND DELIVERY WITHIN 2 DAYS...CANNOT FAULT THIS COMPANY. WE DO SEEM TO LIVE IN AN AGE OF COMPLAINT...HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE WITH A HOLIDAY WE TOOK, SOME BAD REVIEWS AND GOOD ONES AND AGAIN COULD NOT FAULT THE RESORT..... KEEP IT UP DAVRONLINE C BIBBY.
We had need to purchase a full body safety harness as we had been asked to undertake an urgent job and was recommended Davronline as a good supplier by one of my members of staff as he used them once before. The salesman I spoke with was very helpful and new the product that I was seeking. The kit arrived in two days and would be happy to use them again. Their phone system was odd as it no one answered by they did phone back within 10 mins of leaving a message.
I had been searching for AM/FM radio ear defender for some weeks and found a number of options for sale on Davronline web site. I was attracted to a couple on the site and decided to phone them for advise. I phoned them and and left a message and sales chap phoned me back within 5 minutes. They advised me that the Elvex was by far the best product and in actual fact happened to be lowest in price. They explained the reason was that it is an American designed product manufactured by a smallish company and was not a known brand name.
I have to say that on receipt of the product it is as good as they described I LOVE IT and can't wait to try it out and the next race meeting I attend.

I found this company after doing a search and tried to order a pair of ear protectors, after submitting my details a window popped up advising me that my card had not been accepted. I thought I must have entered my card number incorrectly so tried a second time - the same thing happened. I did not receive an email confirming the order/s so purchased the item locally. I was totally surprised to receive 2 packages from this company so contacted them to explain that I needed to return them. I contacted them by telephone to be spoken to by a most arrogant, unhelpful gentleman who would not let me get a word in and eventually put the phone down on me. I have also emailed and got no response. I subsequently returned the packages and I am in the process of trying to get a refund - as yet nothing.
I ordered a safety harness from this company. It took 2 days to arrive and when i tried it on it was the right size. The harness was competitively priced and arrived on time. Great service ! I recommend this company to whoever is interested in ordering similar type of products.
I'm writing a good review about davro, I feel I owe it to them after a nasty email I sent to them by mistake. I ordered a pair of boots and got a little worried when they were taking some time to arrive. I checked online for reviews about the company and was far from impressed, I thought I had been conned especially since they weren't replying to my emails. Now I know davro are not crooks and I would definitely deal with them again, I never gave them the benefit of the doubt, it was Christmas and of course mail is busy. However davro ran their business before, they certainly don't run it like that now. They have improved even if they have slight communication issues. And again would like to sincerely apologise to Simon Rose for any inconvenience caused by my email. Many thanks for the boots.
I ordered by phone after leaving a message. Sales person rang back after 15 mins and helped me decide on the best safety Wellingtons to order. He recomended Cofra and they arrived on the Monday.
Very good and very happy. I see others have had a lesser and mixed experience but my encounter is positive.
just ordered goods from davronline ,they took funds next day havent recieved goods ,been trying to contact them on phone and emails to there support and sales team , never got through or recieved reply ,went online and looked for complaints about davronline and was gobsmacked how many there are ,so i have just contacted trading standards and geotrust , so see what happens from now,
got a phone call from someone at davro on monday ,they said the phone number on there web page was a fax number ,oh right so why is there an answer service on there ,he said my boots arnt in stock and have to come from italy,so why wasnt that displayed on your web site,you shouldnt have taken funds untill the good are dispatched to me ,and theres 2 different addresses to this firm as well, he did say i will recieve my boots tuesday next week 23/2.2002,we will see if he is right or not, still havent recieved any replys from emails that i had sent,it seems you only get a reply from davro if you post on this site
After a long and painfully frustrating 6 months of waiting,writing e mails , online reviews, letters, phone calls and contact with trading standards I have finally got what I wanted from DAVROnline !! A refund (for my phantom steel toe capped boots) that has successfully gone into my bank account.
But please sort your company out George, you are have provided an exceptionally poor service.

I ordered boots from this company and after two weeks they had'nt arrived. I checked the reviews on this company and feared the worst. I emailed the company and left a phone message. My message was answered the same morning by George who said he had been trying to contact me the week before to tell me that the boots I had ordered were out of stock but he was ringing a no I no longer use and had failed to alter on amazon. I expressed my disappointment in that I would not now have the boots for xmas but he said that he was prepared to send me a superior pair of boots retailling at a higher price for no extra cost and that the Item would be with me the next day. I was sceptical but certainly appreciated his offer. He was as good as his word and the boots arrived early today 19th Dec and are absolutely stunning. I am happy to tell everyone of the service I have received and would recomment them to friends and family. I know firms can't always get it right and it seems that they have had their share of problems but I know that they are doing their best to resolve issues, so if you are experiencing difficulties don't give up and just remember my experience. My dealings with the company were a bit up and down, i had a previous review on trust pilot prior to my discussion with a gentleman by the name of George.
Heres what happened :
In september i ordered my dewault jacket, which turned out to be out of stock, although money was taken out of my account which immediatly worried me, i only had one email answered from all my request and calls, however from my disscusion with George i was told that the company experienced a few problems in the period of mid 09 till late 09 in terms of having a few problems with the ordering service.. to cut a long story short i WAS REFUNDED my money however it took 6 months for me to obtain it due to the problems in september.
So my thoughts are as follows, davro online, like many companies have experienced problems along the way, which had resulted in bad customer service, however they seem to be doing there best to rectify the problems, judging by my phone call from george, to get everything sorted out and my money back to me, it seems as though the company is getting back on track... watch this space..
I put in an order for shoes on 20/10/09 and as yet have not received them. The money was taken out of my account right away. I have tried e-mailing and phoning with no response, does any one answer the e-mails or phone?
I have waited until now before submitting this review in the misguided hope this company would provide some kind of service. I have to report that as of today I have given up that hope!
I will not bore you with the details but I will say that lots of promises were made and not fulfilled. I have submitted a claim to the credit card company to get my money and I am happy to say THEY delivered where Davronline could not!!
Safety shoes ordered 14.10.09 and paid for on same day, email received 21.10.09 saying would be delivered 28.10.09 and guess what they never arrived, emailed 02.11.09 (no response), so i called 04.11.09 and noone called back, rang again 05.11.09 and was told they were expected next day, still hadnt received by 12.11.09 so called and left message and noone called back yet again, rang gain 13.11.09 and was told they had been discontinued so i requested a refund, 23.11.09 no refund so message left noone returned call again so i have just left another message DO I HOLD OUT ANY HOPES OF GETTING A CALL BACK, I DOUBT IT
It's now 3 months from date of order. I was first told it had been sent, then it was delayed because of Bank Holiday and now no explanation of non-delivery, no offer of refund. The same story, I phoned nine times, not one call returned, no emails, now their web advertised phone no. does not accept incoming calls. How can this be called 'Customer Service' in any sense? And don't say this is being addressed, because it clearly isn't.
My credit card was charged on the day of order to 21st Century Staple & Nail Co Ltd, (of which Davro was a trading name) which was dissolved over a month earlier (ref: Companies House), so there are serious doubts about the legality of their trading status. Trading Standards have been informed and are very interested to pursue the company due to the number of very unhappy customers and what can only be seen as a fraudulent operation. I'm now starting legal proceedings through the Small Claims Court to recover my costs.
do not buy off this company 6 weeks since i orderd my shoes still no order tried to get a refund i am haveing to start a a dispute with mastercard to try and get my money back.you try ringing the number nobody there leave your message nobody returns your call this company is a joke leave well alone
ordered goods 5 weeks ago goods not in stock money taken immediately.Told goods would be dispatched on certain day (took day off work) goods did not arrive.Phone calls and e-mails not returned asked for refund via e-mail and recorded letter, someone eventually called and said they would sort refund out the following day still not sorted a week later.Have now requested credit card companies involvement.WORST POSSIBLE SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM LOOK ELSEWHERE.

I placed an order for a powernailer 45R from this company on the 21st October by phone(as I could not place order online) and spoke to Simon Rose. (never got a order-id) They charged me vat even after I gave them my vat no( I run a business in another EU country and hence should not be charged uk vat and this was agreed).
The money was immediately charged to my credit card.
By the 2nd Novenber I still had not receiver the goods ordered so rang them, got messaging system so rang sales and eventually got through to Sally, she said she would look into it and ring back in 10 minutes, she never did so rang again later that day, still looking into it.
Sent several emails and left several messages over the next few days and got no response.
Rang sales again 5th November, Sally responded that she will get Simon to ring me.
Still waiting for THE CALL.
There are a lot of bad reviews of this company online and I plan to use every means available to me to make sure more people know about this
UPDATE : Posting this review got me a phone call from Simon who promised to put this right....I will post what happens next here
Placed an order on the 13th October . The money was taken out of our bank account straight away. A week later the order still had not arrived. I have emailed customer service twice now and I have left 3 voicemails with the so called customer service answer machine which says someone will get back to you within 6 hours. The website clearly stated that delivery is unaffected by the postal strike as they are not using royal mail. I have asked for a refund. i think that I will be contacting trading standards soon as well. My order status is still being processed and like Michelle Watson I did not recieve an email confiming my order. tha sent alarm bells ringing straight away.
placed an order on 12-10-09 after 8 days and no confirmation of dispatch.i emailed them and phoned them all day eventually got through.the well spoken guy said he would phone me in the morning he didnt.i phoned them again several times eventually got through to the same guy said he would check and phone back i wasnt happy with this and we agreed on a refund still waiting on it 8 days later.will be contacting trading standards.i have been stung by scammers.stay well away from this lot you have been warned
Placed an order on the 4th of September for some new trousers, all items were in stock and they took payment staright away but I still havent got my order now, on the 3rd october. I sent them an email on the 12th asking where my order was and they said 'sorry for the delay, your order has been posted and will be with you imminently' But it did not arrive. I've since sent then more emails and havent gotten a reply and their phone service is a joke. I'm wondering if I will ever see my money again.
A story of very very poor service.. my misery with this dismal company is just starting.I wish i had seen this site prior to ordering. No replys to my emails and just don't bother to call unless you have time to try over a dozen dozen times. Got through after a while of trying and was promised delivery 29/09/09 or 30/09/09. Let's see..If i don't recieve my items i will report this company to Trading Standards. If my items do arrive tommorow as promised i would be happy to re rate this company..
Well i did recieve my order after all, but not on the day stated. All i would say is the customer service is NIL POINTS..Awfull...Would i buy from this company again? NO NO NO...I would recommend giving them a wide berth. Re rated as 1 star.
I placed an order on the 19/09/09 for a pair of boots, money left my account with no hesitation, one week later and my account still said "order in process" so I emailed asking for the expected delivery date. no reply. I rang 3 times and got no response stilll. it is now the 28th of september and I still have NO BOOTS. NO REFUND and NO RESPONSE!!! my order still says in process. My feet will have probably grown an extra size by the time they bother dealing with me. VERY ANGRY.
Looks like I will be going through the small claims court.
No response from numerous emails. Managed to get them to answer phone (option 2 for sales) Have been promised refund but still waiting. The are quick to take your money but not too keen on giving it back when they cannot supply you with the product ordered.
Totally awful service.Placed an order on August 4th.Out of stock, all item`s.
Now into seventh week, can never speak to anyone.Managed to speak to someone last week and she did not have an answer , said she would get back to me after spaeking to someone else.Not heard back and i keep phoning and no reply`s.

I ordered a pair of work trainers 2 weeks ago, left messages on there answer machine and sent emails and received no reply. Tried option 2 on number given and finally spoke to someone, she said my order is out of stock but should recieve by weekend 19/9/09. Now 21/9/09 and rang again today, still out of stock!!! So offered a upgrade with no extra cost....Chose a upgrade and was told I would recieve a callback? So after several hours I rang them back..Upgrade out of stock but they could offer me a pair of work boots thats not on there website!!!!! No thankyou....So was told I would receive my original order by thursday 24/9/09 so I have accepted. If they arrive alll is well. I have 20 employees who I will purchase for so lets see how they perform....Watch this space....???????
My Account have been debited for items purchased, whilst the order status says "Processing". Never seen anything like. I have left messages on their Mailbox. No one has got back to me in now 72 hours. I have just sent an email.
Waited 31 days for delivery so last week emailed them to cancel the order and get a refund. It takes them a day to take payment but how many to refund it????
If there customer service has been re-structured recently I'd suggest sacking them all and starting again, I know 5 year old children that could do a better job.
It looks like I'll have to pursue my refund through small claims courts.

Right, having finally received the goods, its only fair I tell my story of dealing with Davro.
Ordered some safety specs online, needed them for the following week, so ordering late the previous monday, I thought they'd be here with bags of time. Friday comes around and still no glasses, so email their support team early on friday morning as the online status of my order is still 'in process'. I get an email that evening apologising for the delay, that the goods have been dispatched and will be with me imminently (note the lack of firm delivery date).
so the weekend rolls by, as does monday still with no glasses on my doorstep, so I send them another email. 24hours go by without a response to my short but to the point email, and I start to get a little riled. I phone the 'helpline' to find the only way to get through to anything, let alone an answer machine, is to press option 2 " offine ordering". The very helpful (!) woman says she will look into it and ring back. 2 1/2 hours later the phone rings and the voice tells me that one of the items on my order is out of stock and would i like a replacement. By this time i am desperate for the glasses, so grudgingly agree, even though they had said the package had been sent 5 days earlier.
The package arrives the following day, and the single pair of out of stock glasses has been replaced by two pairs of vastly inferior glasses, and the item that was supposedly in stock wasn't the right sodding item. I am not going complain to Davro as it is too much effort to deal with them.
If Simon does read this, may I make a few points.
1. If an item is out of stock, say so. Leaving your customers hanging until they get in contact is in short lazy.
2. If that customer then does get in contact with you, don't lie to him/her. It's rude.
3. If after all this you then cant send the right stock out anyway..... well.
and lastly, a customer service system where you expect disgruntled customers to leave a message on an answering machine in the vain hope that someone will contact them is poor, but if you are going to persue this way of dealing, at least make sure the answering machine is switched on or not jammed full with messages.
