Totally awful service.Placed an order on August 4th.Out of stock, all item`s.
Now into seventh week, can never speak to anyone.Managed to speak to someone last week and she did not have an answer , said she would get back to me after spaeking to someone else.Not heard back and i keep phoning and no reply`s.
Dont bother with this company i now just want my money back.M
I ordered a pair of work trainers 2 weeks ago, left messages on there answer machine and sent emails and received no reply. Tried option 2 on number given and finally spoke to someone, she said my order is out of stock but should recieve by weekend 19/9/09. Now 21/9/09 and rang again today, still out of stock!!! So offered a upgrade with no extra cost....Chose a upgrade and was told I would recieve a callback? So after several hours I rang them back..Upgrade out of stock but they could offer me a pair of work boots thats not on there website!!!!! No thankyou....So was told I would receive my original order by thursday 24/9/09 so I have accepted. If they arrive alll is well. I have 20 employees who I will purchase for so lets see how they perform....Watch this space....???????
My Account have been debited for items purchased, whilst the order status says "Processing". Never seen anything like. I have left messages on their Mailbox. No one has got back to me in now 72 hours. I have just sent an email.
Waited 31 days for delivery so last week emailed them to cancel the order and get a refund. It takes them a day to take payment but how many to refund it????
If there customer service has been re-structured recently I'd suggest sacking them all and starting again, I know 5 year old children that could do a better job.
It looks like I'll have to pursue my refund through small claims courts.

Right, having finally received the goods, its only fair I tell my story of dealing with Davro.
Ordered some safety specs online, needed them for the following week, so ordering late the previous monday, I thought they'd be here with bags of time. Friday comes around and still no glasses, so email their support team early on friday morning as the online status of my order is still 'in process'. I get an email that evening apologising for the delay, that the goods have been dispatched and will be with me imminently (note the lack of firm delivery date).
so the weekend rolls by, as does monday still with no glasses on my doorstep, so I send them another email. 24hours go by without a response to my short but to the point email, and I start to get a little riled. I phone the 'helpline' to find the only way to get through to anything, let alone an answer machine, is to press option 2 " offine ordering". The very helpful (!) woman says she will look into it and ring back. 2 1/2 hours later the phone rings and the voice tells me that one of the items on my order is out of stock and would i like a replacement. By this time i am desperate for the glasses, so grudgingly agree, even though they had said the package had been sent 5 days earlier.
The package arrives the following day, and the single pair of out of stock glasses has been replaced by two pairs of vastly inferior glasses, and the item that was supposedly in stock wasn't the right sodding item. I am not going complain to Davro as it is too much effort to deal with them.
If Simon does read this, may I make a few points.
1. If an item is out of stock, say so. Leaving your customers hanging until they get in contact is in short lazy.
2. If that customer then does get in contact with you, don't lie to him/her. It's rude.
3. If after all this you then cant send the right stock out anyway..... well.
and lastly, a customer service system where you expect disgruntled customers to leave a message on an answering machine in the vain hope that someone will contact them is poor, but if you are going to persue this way of dealing, at least make sure the answering machine is switched on or not jammed full with messages.

After making an order for a pair of safety glasses, ( a simple delivery order), the money was removed from my account the next day. Even though their website states 2-3 day delivery I received an e-mail from them stating that due to a bank holiday it would be delayed and take 10 DAYS. I accepted this with frustration and waited nothing happened. I waited another week and finally called them. After waiting callbacks from them twice I called to find out the goods were not in stock.
I cancelled my order and ordered from another company, who delivered in 2 days.
A week later I had not received a refund and rang the company, highly frustrated at the lack of service. The gentleman I spoke to was extremely rude and accused me of being a wife beater!! (very, very odd way to deal with customers).
Do not deal with this company - they have the most appalling customer service ever experienced!

After phoning up for some advice on safety boots I spoke to a very well spoken gentleman who seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. I selected the boots he advised, which arrived 2 days later, and I can only say that I'm over the moon with them. I would recommend this company most highly and not hesitate to buy from them again. Looks like same problem as other people. Ordered some mask filters on 11th August, money taken immediately and I have recieved nothing. No reply to any e-mails or phone messages. No one answers the phone.
I have raised a dispute with the credit card company.
Would I buy from Davronline again, never, never, never.
I placed my order on 28th July, the money was duly debited from my account but I have since received nothing, the company have not contacted me, nor have they responded to any of my emails or phone calls.
It appears that this is a scam website, I have sent one final email and if I do not hear from them in the next week I will pursue other means of recouping my money.
Having contacted the company on a daily basis to request a refund, and having been told I would be contacted to arrange this, I was then told that my order had already been shipped. Two days later my item arrived in the post, 2 months after initially placing the order. Having already purchased from an alternative retailer, I now have no need for the item. I'm not even going to attempt to arrange to return the item for a refund, it'll be much less hassle to try to sell them on to someone else.
Thankfully this disastrous transaction has been brought to a conclusion, albeit a fairly dissatisfactory one. I most certainly will not be buying anything else from this retailer.
I ordered a pair of safety footwear costing £41.90 including delivery on 12th Aug 2009. The money was debited to my credit card immediately but guess what...........I haven't received my goods. Phoned four times and left details of order, name, phone number etc and was informed by recorded message that a member of staff would get back to me within six hours.......they must be joking, haven't heard a thing! Visited this website (too late!) to read the reviews and realised I have been completely scammed as have many others! Will now be contacting the Office of Fair Trading to report this lot!
My husband works hard for his money and ordered work equipment from davronline. he got some items but not others. He was out of pocket. he tried and tried to contact them for a refund but to no avail. He nearly cried with frustration as he knew that he had been scammed. He contacted trustpilot and davronline sent him a cheque and asked him to take down his comments. Please do not send any money to this firm. You may as well go to the roullette wheel to try to get your items or the telephone answered. There are other firms that can sell you work gear. Davronline is a scam; my husband got his money back after 12 months. Many more will have given up and wrothe the money off; leaving the directors to live in some comfort. Try someone else! Please!

Ordered saftey boots on 17th July, Still not received them despite sending e-mails and trying to call. No-One answers the e-mails and no-one answers the calls!!! Quick enough to take my money though!!
Trustpilot is an excellent site. After my comments above I received a call from Simon Rose with apologies and he sent out the refund. My thanks to all concerned.

I am sorry but I STILL cannot remove my negative review of this company despite EVENTUALLY receiving a phone call from Davro Online. It's all well and good them explaining that they have been very busy with orders bla-bla-bla-bla-BLAH! Get with the real world who isn't in this day and age, holding down a full-time job, running a house, bringing up a child etc etc etc!! I am so cross with this company it's untrue!!! After the phone call, we were asked to return the incorrect boots with the invoice and they would refund our money by cheque straight away... (I know you're thinking suckers, but we are good honest, trusting citizens... Ok we're suckers.) Guess what it's been nearly four weeks and still no sign of our cheque. The guy who we spoke to in my opinion is just a big fat FIBBER. So, unfortunately, we have had to get trading standards involved to see if they can throw some light on the shoddy goings on. So now we feel complete MUGS - we have no shoes and NO REFUND!!!!!

Ordered some boots over 2 weeks ago, Card was immediately charged but no boots as yet. No answer to phone calls or emails. Interesting that this company can post responses to reviews here, but not answer direct emails. Will be contacting Trading Standards if no response by Monday
Despite the response from Davronline below, I've contacted them twice since and still no refund. Interesting that I now have to submit an order number to edit this review because davronline want to improve their customer service! Finding that number reminded me that it has been just over four months since I first place the order.
December edit: Well, it's now nearly the end of the year, and still no refund. I have lost count of the number of messages sent to Davronline. Here's to hoping they are reading this and finally decide to give me my money back. I probably won't hold my breath though. I said "please" in lots of the messages I sent, will it help if I say pretty please?

still no order after 5 days and lots of phone calls (if someone answers the phone) i did get though to someone on option 1 + 2 both differnt departments but the same bloke answers the phone but never returns calls as promised. I AM NOW GOING TO TRADING STANDARDS. just wish i had read these reviews first. THIS IS THE BIGGIEST SCAM GOING. PLEASE DONT BUY ANYTHING OF THIS SO CALLED COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVEN GOING TO POLICE BECAUSE THIS IS FRAUD.

Ordered trainers 17.6.09. Order No DAV/090617/17014.I have emailed countless times phoned as well ,Someone rang my wife but could not tell her anything, and even asked a few times if I was a policeman.Even after my first review the reply said email us with your order number to rectify " Right"
I have now given them an alternative trainer watch this space.
I ordered safety glasse from this Company and was given a delivery date of 06/07/09,this was in March,6th July duly passed and no delivery.After Numerous calls and e-mails I finally got someone who said they hadn;t a clue when they were geting them and didnt want to give refund.After more calls and emails I have now sent email givung them 24hrs to refund or i am going to small claims court and trading standards.

Made an order recieved e-mail saying that is was out of stock sounds typical of this company. Then called them I suggest pressing option 2 if you need to speak to someone.
