Redwood 6 String bass guitar is an incredible bass, with amazing sound and good playability. I would strongly recommend those who are looking for an affordable but great 6 string bass guitar to buy it and just enjoy it to the fullest!
Bought my first guitar from Dawson's after reading various online reviews. Got a great product from a large selection at a great price with quick delivery. All in all, excellent service.
just aquired a new farida m2e parlour electro acoustic from dawsons,and wasnt dissapointed ,arrived 3 days afrer ordering,came with a great farida hard case,the guitar is really well put together and.finish is great ,action is quite low and the guitar is a joy to play,the noise this thing can make belies its smaller stature ,and is very good unplugged or through an amp..it is a great value guitar and i would recomend trying one..

Great service. Fast delivery. Wont be too long before I buy again!!! The only reservation I have would be if you could put on the confirmation email the estimated time of arrival of the product, your service would be perfect.
This was my first on line order with Dawsons. My purchase was supposedly for my husbands birthday on 30th March, placed on line on the 17th and informed delivery would be 3-5 working days. The item was a Roland Piano Stool to match the Roland piano purchased when St Helens store was closing down. As I hadn't received delivery I rang on the 26th March and was informed they had been waiting for stock and that stock was now in the UK, and I would be sent an email to inform me delivery date (no email received) as I had still not received delivery, I rang again on the 5th April, to be informed the item had been despatched to me, and I would be sent an email to inform me (no email received)
The item was eventually delivered on the 8th of April.
It was suggested to me by a regular user of your on line delivery services, I should ask for a discount, however I do not envisage the need to use Dawsons for the foreseeable future, so your suggestions please, a cheque for a small refund may be?

I purchased a high value item from Dawsons less than a month ago and unfortunately the item is faulty. Having spoken with the manufacturer it is not an issue that can be rectified. Upon informing the store I purchased it from I was told to go directly to the manufacturer for repair!? I can understand this if it was over a year old but 28 days into use?? I have checked the legality of this and my contract is with Dawsons, I feel fobbed off. Apparently an exchange or refund is not an option. So as I am just about to start gigging with this item my options it seems are to buy another one and never use Dawsons again. Very, very angry and disappointed. Doesn't seem to be the right (or legal) approach by a high street store....
I was not sure what to expect with the item on a special offer pricing deal, pleasantly surprised with the quick delivery and the quality of the product package that turned up, now installed to my satisfaction. First time I have used Dawsons Music and would recommend to others friends to give them a try.
The original item was not in stock and it took a week for the online system to realise this. Once the office had rung us to tell us this the replacement item was delivered within days and was a better machine and cheaper. I would definitely ring the order through next time and not use the online ordering system.

I bought an acoustic bass from Dawsons for my husband as a gift on our wedding day. The service they provide is superb and his bass was delivered quickly and packaged well. I would recommend the company without reservation.
Guitar came within two days of purchasing but didn't work.
I was assured over the phone that it would be checked over properly.
I contacted them and no chance for bargaining, it was wait 2 weeks for a replacement as they had to order one or a credit note!
I managed to get a refund but it took 5 days to reach my account!
Wouldn't deal with hem again!
Unfortunately although displaying items on the web as being in stock none were actually available so had an extended delay until stock arrived. In trying to purchase further items of the same type there was no room for any negotiating the price in any way.
Disappointed and would have purchased more if there had been some flexibility.
I contacted Dawsons with a view to place an order, this was not a problem although the item was not available until the end of February. I eventually received the item the day after Dawsons had in their stock. I am very please with the my purchase and with Dawsons service as they have been very helpful.
Our son was delighted with the drum kit and couldn't wait to try it out.

One exspensive guitar bought without the usual fondling and caressing, did'nt even need to buy it dinner. It arrived quicker than wee misty the chinchilla to a raisen packet lightning fast. Openned the box the smell was that new pungent guitar a smell like the smell of a new car. All was good the delivery guys had decided it was'nt its turn for the usual throw around the van,hammer round corners or wheelie practise. The new one was here all shiney and new waiting to be played within an inch of its life, or 2.54cm if you are european.. The service was excellent, kept up to date on the delivery process. i would recommended this music supplier keep up the good work. Any spare gibsons lying around will be gratefully recieved
Communication let Dawson's down on this occasion, as when I went to track my order it said information not available please contact us, which meant I had no ideas where my order was until I got a knock at the door! I emailed Dawson's to try and find out why the tracking information was not available and asked them to get in contact with FedEx to see where my order was but Dawson's did neither of these things I requested as my email never got a response.
My order arrived within the 3-5days margin in excellent condition so no problems there, I would use Dawson's again but I would use the phone for contact rather than emails.
Very pleased with the item and glad that i was able to secure the last one in stock thanks to helpfull staff. The Fedex tracking and delivery service Dawsons use is one of the best i've encountered. Would use again and would recommend
Super Taylor 214 ce very nicely set up straight from the box every note crystal clear and a beautiful rich and deep sound. Great for picking and medium strumming , I can't put it down the finish is superb as you would expect from Taylor . The first Taylor I've had no let down here superb guitar all round top marks to Dawson's on there prompt and fast service.
