I ordered from this company a month ago and payment was taken from my credit card. I have tried telephoning - but get an answerphone saying they are not taking messages. The website is being 'redesigned' and cannot accept e-mails. I thought that companies should not take payment until the goods are ready to be despatched.
I have ordered several items from Decuisine and have found them to be an excellent company.Great quality items at reasonable prices.Fast delivery and being kept informed by email at every step of the order process.I would highly recommend them.
AGREE WITH EVERTHING THAT HAS BEEN SAID BY OTHER DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMERS,WILL NEVER SHOP WITH DE CUISINE AGAIN AND HAVE RECOMMENDED ALL MY FRIENDS TO AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE. HOPE THEY ARE INVESTIGATED BY TRADING STANDARDS.
unacceptable conduct they take your money and charge you p&p and they don,t even bother to contact you to tell you they have gone out of business no goods no refund no apology well i hope you get done you cheating con merchants .
Have placed two orders with this company. Only part of the first order was delivered and I still await delivery of the second order. I have contacted them using their webform on 4 occasions and have had no response. I then tried to contact them using the telephone number on their website but was told that it was only answered between the hours of Monday to Friday 9.00am till 1.00pm - my call was made within this timescale but there was no answer or oportunity to leave a message and began to wonder if the company has gone into liquidation.
Whatever the situation, I am disgusted with them and would not recommend orders with being placed unless you are prepared to lose your money!
They are a fraudulent company. I have submitted an order using the Decuisine. I did not get the goods and I have not had any answers about that order. My money was gone. They are hosted in www.webfusion.co.uk, please; try to inform this ISP about this situation. I did it!
I ordered goods from this website over three weeks ago. I had an automated email confirming my order on 6 March and my account was debited on 8 March. I have not received my goods and I have not heard anything from them. I have sent another email giving them a deadline by which I would like my money refunded, otherwise I will take further action against them. However, after reading the reviews below I am not feeling very encouraged. AVOID!
I ordered 2 Crepe Pans in January. About 2 weeks later I received one of them with a note to say that the other would arrive as soon as the delivery they were expecting arrived. I have written three time since then without a reply. I have just written again and if no reply will make a complaint to Trading Standards. BEWARE of parting with your cash!!!
Ordered an item online, no response, sent query through their online form - no response, sent 2nd query - no response, sent 3rd query - had an e-mail saying it would be in stock the next week. 2 weeks later - still no response or delivery. This happened before but I was hoping it was an isolated incident, obviously no so! How I wish I had read the reviews on this website before placing an order again!
I ordered and was sent a cooks blowtorch. However it was not boxed, had the wrong instruction booklet and was tarnished. Obviously it had already been returned. When I tried to fill it with gas it leaked. No response from DeCuisine when I emailed and phoning just went to answer-phone, Luckily I ordered through Google checkout and they gave me a refund. However, they now refuse to take orders for DeCuisine. I guess they have had enough as well.
Do not buy anything from this company. I placed an order at the beginning of January. I received the smallest item within a week and have been waiting ever since for the balance of the order. They took all my money immediately. Mike has telephoned me twice assuring me that my order was on its way but nothing happened. I have asked for my money to be refunded but - surprise - no refund has been received. Mike was extremely pleasant and told me that the company was a family business with just Mike, his son and his wife. Obviously very practiced in reassuring irate customers and possibly suppliers.
Placed order on 24/02/12, product shown as in stock, still waiting. Had one response 5/3/12 to a number of contacts, with a lame excuse, stating waiting for new stock. I don't believe their Order Tracking option actually works and their online complaint/contact us option does not provide the buyer with any record of your contacts Sent the following to them today 10/03/12 "Please refund my money, after reading some of the online reviews of your company i don't trust you to ever complete this order. I will be sending a letter of complaint to Trading standards."
