About 3 weeks ago I placed an order with deepbluedive for a mask, snorkel and some other accessories.
16/04 - Order placed
17/04 - They contacted me and told me that the snorkel was out of stock and would like to know how I wanted to proceed with it.
17/04 - I replied, picked another snorkel and asked for instructions to pay for the extra balance for the snorkel.
18/04 - Received an email asking me to call or email CC detail
19/04 - I replied to say that I would prefer to use paypal instead of giving out CC details on phone/email
20/04 - Credit memo received without any explanation
23/04 - I replied to ask what happened with the order
23/04 - Received an email saying that the order has been dispatched without the snorkel and the missing item has been refunded
30/04 - Sent an email asking for the tracking number because I still haven't received the order
06/05 - Sent another email to ask for an update
07/05 - Received an email saying that the order was refunded in full because it's showing as potential fraud from sagepay
There was no attempts to resolve the issue and the communication after an issue happened was insufficient. They even sent me an email to say that the order has been dispatched at one point while it never happened. As I was paying with a different currency the refund has costed me some money due to the currency conversion.
Also, If they have communicated that information to me earlier I could have bought some gears from elsewhere to use on my diving trip next week.
I am moving to the Philippines and wanted to purchase my dive gear in the UK and ship it there. I searched for a long time on the internet to find the best package deals and Deep Blue Waters came out on top with every search i did. I have some questions about compatibility of certain regualtors with Nitrox mixes and they went and found the answers to my questions.
I made my purchase of reg, octo BCD, console, fins and boots. They arrived within 4 days, well packed and are now sailing accross the ocean to be used in the clear blue waters of the Philippines. I would highley recommend them for price and service.
I have ordered this Reebok wrist weights for my girlfriend, but instead I have received the dumbbells . I have contacted them via e-mail, and the next day they sent me the correct item.

Probably just an IT issue.Tried to order an item on the web page several times. Got as far as the confirm order page and when tick accepted the terms and conditions box, the confirm order box kept vanishing. Tried to place order three times. Gave up and phoned the order in directly. They had my details from previous orders, and processed the order without a problem. Item arrived in two days.
Recently bought a Northern Diver divemaster suit from this site, a whole £100 cheaper than my local supplier quoted. Original suit was too long (my own mistake with the measurements), replacement was very quickly ordered with no questions asked and arrived within a week of calling to say I was returning the original suit. Very pleased with all the extras - hood, repair kit, carry case - that arrived with the order. Would recommend Deep Blue Dive to others and will be using the site again. Extra bonus for me was that they are a part of easyfundraising - that drew me to the site in the first place.
Dealing with DBS is a very easy , fast, professional and informative experience. They certainly don't hang around as it only took 7 days from placing the order online to the Aussie postie knocking on my door! Now that's service! Having called the Deep Blue Dive sales line, I ordered a pair of dive boots, fins and gloves, which were dispatched on a next day delivery. I was able to track my delivery and they arrived at my home ahead of the estimated delivery time. Cannot fault the equipment ordered or the delivery service. Will happily use Deep Blue Dive again
I have recently bought some items from Deep Blue Dive. They have a great selection of every type of equipment so I could easily compare and contrast. The images were clear and the products were exactly as shown. They could do with giving more specific details about each item on the page. My order arrived promptly, they didn't add extra postage because I live in the north of Scotland, as most companies do now. Have placed another order today.
