I only found Deep Blue recently through a Google search, but in the last 2 weeks have purchased 2 items (Grubs Boots and Deerhunter Poncho) and have already recommended them to a friend who intends purchasing the same boots from them as soon as he gets chance.
Their product range is excellent, their communications are great, delivery is swift and secure and I'm sure that I will become a regular customer.

I ordered a Brattonsound for next day delivery. Website stated that they would be in touch if there were any problems with the order. I heard nothing via email or phone. The cabinet did not arrive. I spoke to Phil at Deep Blue who gruffly told me it was coming direct from Brattonsound, (in other words, not his problem). He offered no refund for the failed next day delivery. Not unreasonably, I asked that he find out when I could expect it and get back to me. I heard nothing so I phoned him at the end of the day for him to blame Brattonsound for not getting back to him. I immediately contacted Brattonsound myself and resolved the issue. Don't let Deep Blue's keen pricing lure you in. Avoid them unless you're in no hurry and you enjoy being spoken to like s**t
Ordered a Brattonsound gun cabinet,according to website they would advise if any delay in dispatch,nothing! sent email to check eta no reply,sent another
got reply to say were looking into it,and hopefully cabinet would be sent the next week.I emailed again to find if being sent from manufacturer no reply!eight days later item sent from manufacturer hope to get it soon,were my requests unreasonable?I dont think so,better communication would have made me a much happier customer.
Ordered a pair of binoculars on 1st July and at 1st Aug was still waiting, having chased up twice, being told they were waiting for the supplier to send more. At no stage was I emailed with an update until prompted when I requested a 2nd ETA. Was offered a chance to cancel the order but figured by the time I'd cancelled, re-ordered with someone else and waited for delivery, I'd be best waiting. After the 2nd time of chasing, to be told yet again that they were waiting for their supplier to send stocks, I asked for their suppliers name and checked with them to see what the problem was. They said that the goods were a discontinued line and would not be supplying Deep Blue with stocks and said they could not understand why that line was still being advertised if Deep Blue had no stocks of their own. I've since cancelled my order, walked into local store today and purchased similar binoculars off the shelf.
3 litre 300 bar air rifle filling kit purchased. Can't fault the service, the order was placed on thurs afternoon & it was delivered on fri afternoon. I had an order confirmation email almost straight away with a link to DHL to track the parcel. I was amazed at how quick the delivery was, especially as it was free postage. My only moan is about the product itself. While the quality of the bottle & fittings is excellent, the filling gauge on the bottle has too broader scale to do an accurate fill of your rifle, with only 50,100,200,300 & 350 bar marked. My rifle is supposed to be filled to 190 bar, but the gauge is marked with such a broad scale that you just have to back off the filling tap just shy of the 200 bar mark. It is a cheaper kit than others i've seen but not by much. I kind of wish i had paid the extra for a kit with a better gauge.
I bought some gun oil from deep blue shooting. They took 2 weeks to dispatch!! When you have 2nd class Royal Mail delivery you would think your items would be with you 5-7 days after payment.
Not with these people!!
I also emailed them and still waiting for a reply after a week!
First and last time that i will spend my money with these people!!
The price, speed of service and fact that the correct item was delivered means that I can only say thank you for an excellent service that I could not fault.
A huge improvement on recent dealings I and family have had with the company that made me hesitate trying again despite the excellent price of the skeet vest.

I placed the order after close of buisiness on Tuesday, I received a confirmation e mail on Wednesday confirming the order had been dispatched and I received it on Friday. You can't ask for better than that. Would not hesitate to recommend.
3 Ltr Air Rifle Charging Kit purchased at very good value however next day delivery was held up due to poor weather, found this out when I eventually managed to speak to retailer, very busy phoneline / shop, I feel I should have been contacted for a 110% customer service. Product was delivered & delivery charged @ next day delivery. Again, I contacted retailer, eventually managed to speak to somebody, advised a refund on postage would be made, this refund however was not for the full amount as advised. Despite an e-mail requesting that they contact myself this has never happened & full credit never received, shame as this has led me to advise caution when dealing with this company & I would think twice of using them in the future.
I ordered a jacket and this was dispatched promplty, but never got delivered. I received a call from some one who had received my jacket by mistake and found my contact details in the documentation. The package had both their and my address on it! They had tried phoning DPD to take the package back with no success (they were left on hold for 20 minutes - rather expensive considering they were calling from Ireland). I contacted Deep Blue who promised to sort out the problem. I rang back 2 days later and nothing had been done. They promised to call back within the hour but didn't. 3 hours later I rang and asked for a refund only to be told they couldn't refund until they received the good back. I asked to speak to somebody more senior who promised I would have my refund ASAP. I'm not holding my breath waiting....
Note to Deep Blue: I won't buy from you again until you change your delivery company.
I ordered a tupe for gun charging bottle on Wed 6 Jan 2010. This still has not arrived. I paid £6.95 for Royal Mail Special Delivery as I reguired this for use this weekend, I have now been told that it will be delivered on Mon 11 Jan I don't think this is acceptable.
You find how good or bad a company is in the way you're treated when things don't go well. I ordered some boots from Deep Blue, which the delivery company (DPD) couldn't deliver (even though somebody was at home). My wife tried to arrange another delivery time but after several calls to DPD over a few days it became apparent that DPD had lost the parcel. I rang Deep Blue to let them know what had happened and they told me I needed to wait until DPD informed them. To cut a long story short, I called the company five times over the following two weeks and I felt I was being fobbed off by them. Eventually they told me I had been refunded the money. Today (nearly two weesk later) after checking my statement, I realise that they haven't actually refunded me and I will have to ring them again. DON'T USE THEM!
My initial experience was really great. Great price and was delivered on time. My most recent experience is not so great. Everything was fine until it came to delivery. I am still waiting for delivery. The delivery company say they have tried to deliver and have left a card but their description of the house is incorrect and I have received no card. It is virtually impossible to contact the delivery company and now that I have they have not apologised. They made some excuse about the address but, guess what, I have still not received the goods. Terrible when you do actually pay for delivery !!!

I rang to find out what was going on and was given some lame excuse about it hadn't gone through properly even though I had been told the day I ordered that it had. I was then told it would be dispatched the following day by courier on next day delivery, but then I received an email saying it had been dispatched on standard delivery. Does anyboduy there ever tell the truth? I know one thing, I'll never buy anything from them again.
