Not very impressed to be totally honest !

We took delivery of our suite in the summer and soon became apparent that the mechanism on the reclining arm chair wasn't quite right as it it took numerous attempts to get it to lock closed.

Even then you stood up and it flicked open and hit you in the back of the legs, or you sat down thinking it was locked shut and it shot out laying you flat out.

A representative of DFS came to look at it and said he would replace the mechanism and he thought they had the part and it should be done by the end of the week.

Several weeks passed and i eventually went in to the Longwell Green branch where we purchased the suite and was told that the matter was in hand.

We then received a telephone call promising that it would be done by the end of November, but here we are 29th November and the chair is still like a booby trap. My 87 year old Mother in Law sat in it, luckily she put her cup of tea down before sitting down because as soon as she sat down it reclined. Had she been holding her tea it would have tipped all over her.

My son had Hiatus Hernia surgery on the 11th November and is home recovering, he sat in it and it shot backwards when he wasn't expecting it causing him a great deal of discomfort.

I rang the store yesterday and was told the part would be in around the 4th of December and to be honest if it isn't i will be contacting DFS and asking that they collect the whole suite and refund what we have paid to date.
