I ordered 2 dresses and a coat for me and a suit for my husband all on the same day. Even though I used their US sizing charts, one of the dresses and the suit for my husband looked like they'd fit an 8 year old. After emailing them, the seller(s) became belligerent and were blaming me! Finally they agreed to refund my money. I sent the dress back and it cost $15.00 and took 45 days. This was in late August. It's now November and I just received my refund. When the suit arrived I threw it away. The workmanship (like the dress) was so cheap looking, I didn't even want to donate it. The other two items (ordered in August) never came. I emailed them and after going through an inquisition with them, I'm now waiting form refund. I won't hold my breathe. In addition, the sellers will only refund me the item's price and deducted the shipping cost from the total refund. Stay away from this organization. They're a big rip.
I'm pleased to share my experience with my first and last purchase through dhgate. I've ordered the phone to London, UK. Phone has arrived very promptly, within 2 weeks. Not bad, but ever since everything went downhill.
Upon opening i have found out that the digitizer (SCREEN) does not stick to the body and the main button is wobbly and look like it will COME OFF any time! Later I have also found out that sometimes the phone DOES NOT CHARGE fully (mainly when WiFi is on) even when plugged to the socket. Also GPS is NOT WORKING!
I have complained to the seller, but that was just a joke, he speaks no English and has no intention to help. In the end i went through the mediation process with dhgate which was very poorly documented and you can not question their decision so in the end I have ended up with 34 USD refund for not working GPS, digitizer that I had to glue to the body, wobbly button, problems with charging etcetera.
Very poor service both from dhgate and plonge. By the way I have looked inside the phone, disassembled it... such thing will not last, be aware, its assmebled in very poor way from bad components using sellotape etc.! Buy only for fun, do not rely on such device and stay away from dhgate!

Bestilte en cykel og noget cykeltøj hos dhgate ,supplier Feelbicycle havde en meget fin korrespondence på mail inden jeg bestilte varene var lidt nervøs for at skulle betale mere end 2500 us men tænkte at det skulle prøves. Feelbicycle lovede de ville sende mine ting d 7. Oktober . Jeg modtog varerne den 9 oktober . Jeg har kun rosende ord om både dhgate og specielt Feelbicycle . Super tøj og kanon cykel.
Jeg havde inden denne ordre bestilt noget andet i gennem dhgate jeg fortrød og annullerede ordrene og fik mine penge 100 % tilbage på 5 dage.
Det er bestemt ikke sidste gang jeg bestiller noget gennem dhgate.
Nu håber jeg på bedre vejr ellers skal den nye cykel ikke på gaden 😄
I have bought from this seller twice. Last time I did not count my beads. This time as it was small amount so I counted. There were only 180 beads which can be used. Some were broken. When you write to them ,never get any reply. I would not order again from this seller.

If you are thinking about to buy any product from DHgate, you should reconsider about the purchase. I bought a set of fairing for my motorcycle for about $350. It arrived a month later with scratches and deflections. Product was supposed to be painted as matte black but it came without any paint on black base material (ABS). I sent message to the seller and they said I should use wax to repair the damage. The damage was too serious to repair with wax, and so I send pictures and asked for full refund. I also reported as after-sale dispute to DHgate but I have not received any response from neither of them for 2 weeks. if you are expecting customer service that you could ge in US, you should never use this website to purchase anything. They will not do anything for you.
DHgate says their protect your money - but they don't!!! Completely fraudulent business practices. Going to my credit card company is now my only recourse. Seemed too good to be true... it was! They lied to me every step of the way. lied about shipping, gave Bogus tracking numbers, non responsive to inquiries, shipped two weeks after promised arrival date, and after going through DHgates complicated claims process and receiving assurances that I would get a refund - they denied my claim. Chinese scam!!!

Found this company through Google and thought I'd give them a try as the prices seemed pretty low. So my first Order I kept under $50 and received the product in reasonable time and in good shape.
Second order I received was totally wrong but I managed to sell it to a coworker as he seemed to like it. Third order was a wifi security camera and cost me $260 but the same camera here in Canada was $340 so I ordered it.
When the camera arrived it didn't work so I messages the seller and they wanted me to send it back and told me they would refund the shipping.
So I sent it back with a $63 shipping fee and waited for the camera to arrive at their destination.
Well it took 10 weeks to get there as I followed it with the tracking number.
After seeing that the seller had received the camera I waited an additional 3 days before I had to contactt them and asked for my refund.
They totally wasted time and said they had to test it first to see if the camera was actually broken.
I waited another week before I had to contact them again only for them to tell me that the camera worked fine and that they would only refund the purchase price and not the shipping.
So I at least got the refund but got the shaft for the shipping.
So within the 12 weeks of waiting I placed two more orders and things went from bad to worse.
One item had missing parts and didn't work and the seller told me it worked and all the parts were there when they sent it so it was my fault I'm guessing.
This order is under dispute right now as is the other one where the seller again, a different one this time , sent the wrong item.
That was enough for me.
KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY SEND YOU STUFF YOU DON'T ORDER AND ITS REALLY HARD TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK ALONG WITH SHIPPING FEES TO RETURN TO ITEM.

why you should stay away.
1) products are very cheap, no grantee
2) seller fked the order and i had to pay the custom tax.
3) i bought iphone, the description was of original iphone, it turned out to be a cheap copy of iphone, with android software.
4) i tried to return the product , the shipping cost was too high, and seller said he was going to return the partial money only. i called my bank and claimed the charge as fraud.
5) had to wait too long for the delivery, it said 7 to 14 days , but it took more than 17 days. the reason was custom.
the moral is stay away, it is better to spend 5 dollar more for the product, then to take the trouble for all this bullshit

We ordered 10 LED lights from D.H.Gate vendor...they were promised in 3-7 days and finally came 4 weeks later. since these were delivered late we were on vacation-but put a vacation hold till we returned. D.H Gate had delivery Co send them back to China. D.H Gate vendor refused to send them back unloess I paid for shipping (at a very inflated price). Dispute coeter is a waste of hour time and will give you royal run around. Pay the extra amount and order from U.S...
"I purchased some merchandise from DHgate and once it arrived the seller had packaged the items very poorly. All the items were broken inside from the box being tossed around by the shipping company and not enough protection in the box to protect the product.
I contacted the seller, but they have ignored and removed the product. Declined my request for a refund.
I escalated the case and they give you a resolution date (final answer), that is useless it has been 1 week past due. All I ever get when I contact customer service is the same old answer that they will notify the case handler.
They have no records of previous chats, so contacting them is useless. They say what they want and nothing gets done. Example: I get told I am getting a refund, and the next agent says they cannot see such information. Goes back to saying what they want and nothing is being recorded in their system of the chats.
It only takes 1 bad experience to ruin a future business/buyer partnership. This is mainly due to the VERY poor customer service, from DHgate.
DHgate states they will stand by the buyer if the seller does not resolve the issue. Great this is a complete failure, they stand by nobody but the seller, by ignoring the buyer.
They state that they are updating/upgraded customer service? Really? I think they actually have not stepped forward one foot and stepped 10 steps back."
DHGATE has a lot of good buys but you have to remember that it is a collection of private sellers and factory outlets trying to hock there cheap wares. Always carefully look at the webpage for a polished advert showing some effort and a product description that is detailed. Assume nothing that is not written down! Always ask questions of the sellers to see if and how fast they respond. Remember DHGATE holds the money from the seller until you report that you get your product and are satisfied. I have had good luck with the sellers that had good reviews from large shipments to single items. I have had only a couple of "lost shipments" but got my refund or a negotiated new item sent in its place.

I paid extra for a custom made to order wedding dress from a seller "Evermore" one of the seller's from DHGate website. When I received the dress it did not looked anything like the picture further than that it was 4" too long, 2" too big on the waist and there's weird mistake on the left shoulder, and not to mention the quality, the fabric and the way it's made looked sooo cheap. When I contacted the seller and made my complaint, they told me that they will refund part of the dress and I can sell it to someone else to make it up for the rest. I guessed they either did not understand english or very ignorant because I did mention that there's a weird mistake on the left shoulder. Who the hell is going buy their wedding dress with a clearly visible mistake on it, also it is not my responsibility to sell their dress. I guessed the hoping that their are too far away for you to get any resolutions
I will made sure my review gets on to all websites so that no one esle will have deal with these people, and hopefully somebody will shut them down.

1. I ordered accessories worth almost $260 from this site. What a received were a bunch of junks -- very poor quailty and nothing like the photo on the seller's page. So I demanded a refund which the seller agreed. We reached a full refund agreement on May 22.
2. I received a "refund completed wait for 10-15 days" email on June 4. Todat is June 24 and nothing is credited back to my account! What's even worse are the very incompetent customer service people who keepa on replying "you will be refunded the same way ypu paid" when I asked for the transaction reference number of the refund that they did. I was thinking maybe the fund transfer was rejected, the account number might be wrong, etc. Apparently I'm also an IT Analyst in a bank so I'm very sure that every transaction has a reference number. They cannot provide the refund details. I've been asking them for 2 weeks but all their answers are evidences that their people don't know what they are doing. The last CS person even mentioned a wrong order number and amount. I gave up and just told myself that maybe my $260 was given to charity. Haha! Don't want to waste my time with this site anymore. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY FROM DHGATE AGAIN!
I ordered a dress custom, it doesn't fit and is costing me an additional $200.00 in the states to have it fitted correctly. They are the worst company to deal with ever and should be band from selling on line!
I cannot comment on the quality of the items as I have not received my order as yet. The estimated delivery date has not passed so I cannot complain either.
I ordered 4 items from this company. Within 5 days of ordering, one of the sellers sent me a message saying that the item I ordered was not in stock, so I would be granted a refund. The company sent me several e-mails keeping me updated on the refund process and my money was deposited into my account within 4 days, even though i was told it would take between 10-15 days.
I cancelled one of my other orders before it was shipped and requested a refund because I did not need the item anymore. This was also deposited back into my account within 4 days.
I think the problem most people have with refunds stem from the fact that the item/s have already been shipped. Therefore the seller has to get back the item before a refund can be granted and this takes some time. The length of the time it takes for delivery is a bit long but since I get free free shipping, I don't mind. I am from a Caribbean country and I use a Canadian bank so maybe banking processes are different in other places and this also contributes to the time it takes for the refund to be completed.
The worst seller ever! I have ordered the dress that cost $100. They claim to use the measurement you provide, but when I've got the dress it was completely ridiculous,, nothing to do with my measurement.... In addition, quality of sewing and material was disgusting! I provided all the photos and explanations, asking for a refund.
At first, they stated I need to send it back(at my own expense) to get a refund.... I estimated the shipping cost to China. It would cost more then I already paid for a dress. Emailing back-and-fourth got me nowhere and no attention from the site owners... Total FRAUD!!!! Everyone should STAY AWAY FROM THIS SELLER!!!!!!!
I bought two pair of shoes and I recieved two shoes but one pair was in the wrong size and totally useless to me.
After that the seller ignored me for weeks I contacted DHGate resolution center. I hoped to get som objective help in the dispute. I paid USD67 for the shoes and DHGate said thwy could give me back USD21. They did not give an inch.
So, the seller screwed up and that costed me USD46.
Lesson learned: Dishonest seller who ignored me when problem arised. And DHGate resolution center was very unhelpful and actually thought that a refund of USD21 for a pair of useless shoes for USD67 was an okey trade-off.
Save your money and buy somwhere else.
I have ordered a smarphone from them (before reading any reviews online) and they took out the money immediately. I waited two weeks and nothing happened. I chatted online with Dhgate and they told me to contact the seller. The seller shenzhen2013 emailed me back "my friend no worry everything ok". I waited another week and emailed the seller again and he replied "my friend chinapost no battery send hk post". Then after 10 days the phone comes. A cheaper discontinued model which is worth nothing. I filed a dispute with dhgate and the seller emailed me "my friend why open dispute you no like phone? how much you want?" I replied what the hell are you talking about? You have charged me the full amount and now negotiating to give me some money back? They have not replied back since then.
I am still waiting for some answer.

After making a purchase I was sent the incorrect size. Notifying the seller, she claimed up and down that she sent the right item. After sending measurements, pictures and proof she chose to just stop responding. After waiting weeks to "Escalate for Arbitration" I have waited weeks more with no word. Talking with the customer service I am assured that things are in work and progress is being made. I have no hope of ever seeing any of my hard earned cash returned after more than 2 months of waiting and being offered a partial refund of 13USD!!!

I ordered my prom dress from this website. I am beyond disappointed. I bought a dress that Blake Lively wore on gossip girl but what I received is nothing like what I ordered. There is only one similarity, the ribbon. The sleeves are itchy and the dress is not even the same color. The dress I received is what you would think to be as a night gown or a Halloween costume. When I told them that I was not satisfied, they told me to either try to resell the dress or send it back but I would have to pay for the shipping which would be over $100. The dress it's self cost $123. They did the same thing to my friend. To say that I'm not happy is an understatement. They ruined my prom. Now I have to find a dress in less then 2 weeks.
I chat with live customer service after 5 minute submiting wrong item. They said wait after 24 hours to request refund after credit card transaction done, (links will not show online).
after submit refund request, I got respond next day by contact seller to settle cancellation with seller directly.

I found it hard to find the color wedding dress that I wanted, BUT there it was on DHGate and at a reasonable price. YES I received my dress just like I ordered same color 2 sizes to small and very cheap quality. I really got exactly what I paid for.
I have used DHgate before to order dresses for my bridesmaids and maid of honor dresses for our 20 year wedding vow renewal. The bridesmaids dresses came and were beautiful but they were both like a size 2. My daughters maid of honor dress which was like a size 14 came weeks late and totally messed up. The dress hem was long in part of back and side and totally cockeyed. The dress design was different from what I ordered close but different and the back which was lace up wouldn't stay laced as there were not enough eyes for the ribbon to go through to hold the dress together so it kept opening. Because it came so late I did not have time to send it back for alterations. I paid someone locally to fix the dress and requested a partial refund.The seller claimed I would get a refund but I never did. It was only like $30 I lost and the first two dresses were great so I thought it was a fluke. I found a prom dress locally for an adult prom I am attending through a local radio station. I could not get it in the size I needed so I went on DHgate. The picture was exactly the picture from the local store. I sent in all the measurements and ordered the dress for $123.20 on March 30 for a May event. I have kept watching for the item to be sent, and when it wasn't sent in the 15 days they claimed I chated with the seller she said the dress was gonna be a plus size and she needed me to pay $30 additional before she could send it which when I ordered it I was never informed of an additional charge of make time if "plus" size. the dress I ordered is a size 18 and told me I had to agree to an extension. But, It was don't worry Dear the dress will be there on time and be fine. I finally received the dress today and it is awe-full. It isn't cut right. the embellishments are totally different. The pick ups start more than halfway down the dress. It looks like I have no waist at all. The dress is like a size 20 which is too big and the color is like 3 shades lighter than the picture which is the least of all the problems. I have contacted DHgate but they are supposedly on Labour day holiday. I have to go get another dress at the last minute and now pay even more money. They lie. Hopefully someone with contact me and take back this dress for a full refund of $153.20 but I'm afraid I will have to fight them through the credit card company. Unless you are a size 2 do not order from them because they clearly can not make a larger dress. There is no phone number to call and when you try to online chat with customer service you get bumped out. Buyer beware! You will be disappointed and out your money!!!
I have made 4 purchases. All of the goods I purchased were fakes!!! This was from 3 different sellers all with really good ratings. The 1st order I bought 256gb USB sticks. Real memory turned out to be 8gb. They do some clever way of hacking the memory sticks. The 2nd was 64gb micro sd cards which turned out to be 4gb. The 3rd was griffin survivor cases which were ok quality replicas. The 4th order never came and I never got any of my money back as dhgate only help the seller and didn't even reply to my messages. I only found out the memory cards and sticks were fake after I had purchased the 4th order. It's a pathetic company and don't be fooled like I was with the good prices.
If you are thinking about purchasing a dress, BUYER BEWARE! The picture they have is not an accurate representation of what they will make you. I wanted a dress made, having tried it on at David's Bridal and was completely comfortable if it wasn't exactly the same. The website does mention that they can't get the dress 100%, so I was fine with it being 80-90% on mark. The shipping took two weeks, as expected, but when I opened the package it looked like it was someone else's dress. It wasn't even 50% close! I was convinced that there was just some mistake and they accidentally switched dresses during shipping, but during our email conversations, Dhgate claimed it was my fault for not sending them pictures of the exact dress I wanted! Really?! They have the exact picture posted that David's Bridal has on their website. My bad for assuming they could do what they claimed they could do! At this point, I was already knee deep with them and figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt. So I supplied them with all the pictures I had, detailing, etc. of me trying the dress on, so they could make it. They said they could try again if I returned the dress. Another mistake on my part, because they never received the dress! We were communicating (extremely poorly) at the beginning, but now they refuse to return any of my emails. I just wanted it to work out so bad and give them business, but I should have cut all ties at the beginning. I was hoping my experience would be a good one, since there were so many positive experiences posted on here, but mine was just awful. Please, be careful with this seller!
Do not use this company. I ordered a bride's maid's dress and they sent it to me with the wrong fabric (matte chiffon rather than shiny), and the hem was crooked.
When I inquired they told me that the 'designer thought that it might look better' in the other fabric, even though it looked completely different from its picture.
After eight emails going back and forth with the company, it was clear we were getting nowhere. We even got a response back encouraging us to make a false review:
" if it is ok, pls change the full refund to part refund, then we will accept it, and i want to know if you can leave us the postive feedback with 5 stars after we refund you, we really appreciate if you do this for us, but pls note, we do not accept any negative feedbacks or netural feedbacks, thanks, we are sorry for the mistake"
So, we went to dhgate mediation - but this was a joke. They offered a $30 refund (from the $115 product) and said we could pay for the shipment to China and get a full refund but they stated that it probably wouldn't reach the destination so we shouldn't bother.
Terrible company with a low moral fiber.
Ordered an emergency wedding dress 2 weeks before the wedding.. According to shipping details the dress should have been here with enough time to spare.. Two days before the wedding we were told by the seller that the dress still needs a couple of days.. Contacted customer service who said they were sorry and would refund us the amount and we told them to cancel the dress which they said they did and have issued us a refund that would appear on our account within 10 days..It has been more than 10 days but I'm surprised to find that the dress has been shipped and I am to expect it soon... MAJOR WTF !!!!!

Firstly, let me start off by saying that Dhgate is not for the casual internet shopper or single item buyer, while i am sure that some deals can in fact be found on certain single items and that it can save you money it is no place to buy from lightly or without research. That being said, I myself have had more good experiences than bad with buying from Dhgate, keep in mind that I am a retailer and an e-shop owner whose sole purpose of buying on the site is to resell and make money. You must do your research before buying anything from anyone in today's online environment and especially when buying from abroad Dhgate is no exception to this rule.
1) Search for the items that interest you then research the sellers feedback, i mean literally go through it one by one if necessary but come away with an understanding of possible issues, even the positive feedback tell you something about the seller, some will say "great seller but shipping a little slow" that is a clue on what to expect when dealing with that seller, especially if there is a pattern in the feedback suggesting others have likewise experienced this issue.
2) put together a list of sellers, the list should take into account the length of time the sellers have been on Dhgate the overall feedback of each seller and of course the price of the comparable items.
3) send a message to each seller and ask all the questions that you feel you need to ask regarding the product, be specific and pointed, "What colors do you have in stock and ready to ship?" "How fast will you ship my item upon purchase?" Most sellers today include in the listing that the product is in fact a copy if it is something that looks like another object/brand etc... so read the listings carefully, anything that you cannot find out in the listing itself needs to be asked in a message to the seller. It goes without saying that if the seller does not respond to your message in a timely fashion you should take your business elsewhere, always remember, you are the buyer and your money is king.
3) Dhgate has improved dramatically on customer care and attention to the details that make buying there a better experience, but you still need to be aware of the rules of the site and the time restrictions for filing a complaint and getting a refund, they are very strict with these and something that needs more work, but i have used this return/complaint process only once and it worked to get my money refunded within 10 days as per the rules on the site.
Lastly, I know that there is always a bad side to every good thing and sadly feel for those of you that have had bad experiences on the site. Today's world is ever changing and in order to keep up companies must adapt to the needs of their clients, Dhgate is no exception, they re moving in a direction to make Chinese products more accessible to others across the globe while taking measures to secure your payments and business. that is not to say that the occasional bad apples cannot get through and work their bad ju ju, but this is the same with even the great and mighty ebay, tons of policy and tons of rules yet even still people have been taken for a ride and lost their hard earned money. I am sure that with a little diligence and planning anyone can have a great experience buying on the site.

I buy some light from this site and they already took out money from my account but I'm not receiver any shipping detail or conform almost 2 month . They are thieves! They have stolen my money! They sent me a damaged projector, and when I contacted the chinese seller, said that I would send the projector and pay the post costs! I paid about 100 USD in the post office, and when the seller has been delivered the projector, he disappeared and never answered my messages! So I came back to Dhgate staff, and asked them to refund me the money, and after long time and Many Many messages with them, I received a message from one called Lily Qin claimed that they would refund me money within 10 days to my account! But 3 weeks passed with no money has been transferred, so I contacted them and complained that there is no money refunding! It took more than 10 days since the last message,before I received their answer, and it was that there is no more credit in the seller's account under their hands to refund me money! After that, they never answered my messages! They have stolen 320 USD from me, and China is not rights country like western countries, and they dont care if you have legal documents and proofs (as I have) or not !!! So I warn you all, to take care and think many times before you use this scam website !! The good thing of such experience is that we are going to launch a page on facebook to warn ppl from such chinese scam websites, hope that you'll join us soon!!
