[REPLY]
I have been using dialtosave for over a year now and I'm happy with it.
I contacted their customer service a year ago and they were not the most pleasant to contact but hopefully it changed by now.
Overall, very good pricing if you have free minutes on your mobile
I am very happy with the service taking in consideration that is the cheapest service that I found on the market. Very very pleased!! Thank you very much
Eveyr day I use the call service to call my home country and it always work fast.
Since i start it save me money and now i dont need keep buying cards from newsagent. It is much easier like this as i buy more from my phone, and then i use it from my phone.
I use this service most weeks to call abroad. It's definitely one of the cheapest, but they haven't disappeared like some of the other cheap providers do. Mainly use it to call from a mobile.
I use the service quite a lot and it saves me a lot of money.
Only reason I give it 4 stars is because sometimes it takes like 20 seconds to connect.
Call quality is good enough for the price. Definitely worth using if you call alot abroad from your mobile.
It's hectic trying to keep up with my brothers and sisters. My biggest brother lives in Spain, my sis lives in Mexico, and my other brother lives in Franch. Dialtosave made it less hectic to keep track of all the international calls and so forth. I mean they really saved me a lot of money and I'm glad for it! Thanks :)
I've used dialtosave for many years now to call family and friends all the time.
It works and its much cheaper than using my mobile via my own network. I didn't want to swtich my sim card which is why i started using dial2save, but it turned out to be great decision.
Only thing is that sometimes it takes a few seconds for the call to connect, but a few extra seconds at 1 pence per minute is ok.
Last evening I repeatedly called the access number for hours. It always gave me the engaged tone. I am very disappointed so far.
I am very happy to have found this site,I was desperate as the company I had been using folded up without any warning taking with it all my balance, which was substantial.
I make numerous calls to South Africa and Spain where I have family and it would cost me a small fortune to call them as regularly as I do with my normal landline phone company.
As Su Larcombe says ,the DTS Support Team are very efficient and respond very quickly to any quieries and problems one might have.
When I first looked at DTS was a bit wary as there is no telephone contact number but on emailing them was reassured that they are a bona fide company and they have proved themselves as such to me.
OK,occasionally I have been cut off during a conversation causing one to have to redial, which I can understand would be inconvenient if it is a business call..but this is very far and few between.
Just a little tip,if you have a Talk Unlimited plan with your phone company eg;Virginmedia, make sure you end your call before an hour is up,say at 59 mins and redial if you wish to continue your DTS call.If you don`t Virginmedia,in my case, will start charging.
I have never had any problem regarding my balance etc.
Thank you DTS ,without you, I would not be able to talk to my family as often as I do.
I've been using DialToSave for about 6 months calling Egypt, when I've had any questions the DTS support team have given excellent service. My only complaint - and this is more likely to be something at the Egyptian end - is the quality of the connection sometimes. On particularly bad days I need to call several times or even give up until the next day! I can call Egypt for about 5 minutes for what it will cost me to send a text message, so why not speak!?
I've been using DialToSave for a while to call South Africa from the UK, and had no problems until recently. I got a message telling me that the number wasn't recognised. I logged the issue via their web site and got a quick reply, and this was followed by a couple of exchanges which were also dealt with pretty much right away. The number I was calling was incorrectly tagged as a premium number, but they looked into it and fixed the issue very quickly. Issues will occur with any company, but for me, it's how they deal with them that separates the good from the bad, and DialToSave from my experience are excellent.
I have found this company just a joy to deal with every time I order more credit. Their operation is efficient, clear, simple and streamlined. And the service does what it says and is truly a great help. So a big Thank you :)
I came to DTS as a refugee from Alpha Telecom which seems now to have closed down for good. I think my last successful call through them had been around 10thJanuary 2012.
I bought £20 of credit with DTS via Paypal and am still using it for daily calls to Europe. At the end of its life Alpha T seemed to be promising all kinds of generous pricing structures, so that it may not be fair to describe DTS as less good value. Obviously their charges are still massively cheaper than the main mobile and fixed line providers.
On the whole the DTS audio quality has been better than Alpha T so far and the service at least as reliable. The only exception occurred repeatedly over a period of about two hours yesterday evening (27/2) when the call-up procedure continually got stuck after the credit announcement. It proved impossible to enter the destination number and 90% of attempts at a call timed out. It will be nice if it doesn’t happen again.
The call-up procedure and spiel commented on by others can seem long-winded when calls drop out or won’t connect properly, but obviously, under ideal circumstances, it is refreshing to have such informed control over your credit and to know how many minutes you could speak for if you really wanted to.
I had used Alpha T more or less daily for at least a decade and in two respects DTS currently falls short of what I am looking for to replace them.
-Firstly, it seems that DTS allow you to register a uk mobile number, but not a land-line number. This is short-sighted, with respect. Many customers will certainly have access to even cheaper ‘uk-landline to foreign landline’ calls than DTS is offering, but a ‘uk-landline to a foreign mobile’ call is a different thing entirely. Here DTS has a role to perform and it would be a great help if a uk-landline number could be registered too, so that it is not necessary to try to memorize the personal access code each time. This facility was a real strength of Alpha T for me.
-Secondly, the Alpha T access number began with 0208 just as does the DTS number. From Germany for instance, that number could be reached in London literally without cost and my German mobile was a number I had registered with Alpha T and could therefore be used for calls home to the UK as well as calls to abroad while I was abroad. At the moment DTS seems to permit the registration of uk mobiles only. If they could broaden their remit a little, their service would get much more use by travellers in my position.
Overall I’m quite happy to have found DTS and I’d much prefer it to get better than to need to continue my search for complete perfection elsewhere. I read in the comments of other users on this site how very approachable and cooperative DTS customer service is so there is hope. Alpha T had its virtues, but were rather opaque in technical matters and certainly perhaps rather slippery over the sale of credit and its monitoring.
Sign-up process is simple and straight forward.
Quality of service/calls good (can be improved).
having individual numbers for speed dial takes a bit of time (setting them up and storing numbers in your mobile etc) but once this initial process is completed, it's very easy to dial.
Easy to purchase credit and good price for calls to the cameroon, but unfortunatley the call quality was so poor it was unusable. I have spoken to Customer Service via e-mail and they say that they have re-routed the line. I tried this evening at it was marginally better but still a long way from what I get when I dial the number direct !
I used to like the service and I even recommended them to my friends but I was not happy the last time because they told me I had 100 minutes to talk but after 30 minutes the call was cut off and I had to dial again the same number, then I was told I only got 30 more minutes to talk. What was that?!!! I was upset and just told myself, "I will not topup my account again".
I used to love dialtosave and made it my only option of purchase for international cards but now its been losing my customs due to technical error which keeps on repeating all the time.as a busy man i found it a bit annoying to contact customer service everytime. The last time i use it on the 28/12/2011 the operator would not tell me how much credit i have after i've topped up and before it use to remember my password from the phone i use but now it kept asking me to enter it again.thats a bit disappointing and i found it only going down instead of improving the service.i would have understood if it was a one off technical error but it doesnt seem so.communication does cut off at some point too.i have noticed as well that during winter time customers get lower credit for the same amount of money use to purchase during summer time.
It has now reach a point that i will have no other choice than looking for another option.
Customer service wise i would say excellent.the team we have behind has always acted professionally and fast.impeccable. Well done to the customer service team.i think you deserve another 2 stars.

I was with another company called Nomi-Phone for a few years, however, they went out of business without any notification.I searched around for another such company and finally hit upon DialtoSave.
I find them easy to use, easy to top up.
I was a bit wary when I found there is not telephone contact with their customer services but have found quick reponses to any quieries I had to put to them.
I make regular calls to Spain and South Africa at next to nothing cost....well pleased.
I use Dial to Save regularly to call Grenada. Top up via Paypal is makes topping up super easy. I am very happy with the service and have recommended Dial to Save to friends and family.
Have used Dial to Save regularly to ring Gambia and I'm extremely pleased with the service. Top up is simple online and paying with paypal is a bonus.
So far so good Dial to Save! I am a new member since last week!
I am impressed so far. :)
Use dialtosave.co.uk regularly to call my folks back home in Austria. The line is clear and stable for literally every call, no different from a standard BT line. Topup couldn't be easier with PayPal or via text. 100% recommended. (I'm not affiliated with dialtosave.co.uk).
i love these guys! they give you an 020 number, and 0800 number and every possible country you can think of calling!
I am happy with the dialtosave, having used them a few times. It is very easy to set up and usually easy to use. On one occasion I had problems getting a number and emailed them. It was sorted in less than an hour. The service was extremely quick and friendly. I like the fact that you are informed twice how much credit you have, so there is virtually no possibility of making an overseas call and paying the phone provider's ridiculous hourly charges. Long may they continue!
Now a year later, I am still happy with this company - lines are clear and usually I get a connection quickly
I am very new to this service. Before I used the phonecard from my newsagent but I found this online and emailed for advice before I bought the card.
They emailed me back in about 20 minutes, and answered my questions about the rules. There are much better rules for dialtosave service than for my old phonecard service, because the money lasts 90 days and you can extend that when you buy more credit. My card used to be valid for 30 days.
I have only made a few calls, but it works fine.
I use dialtosave every day to call my family in india. generally i call from my mobile so i use their credit talk product. It costs 1.5p per minute to call from my mobile, or 1p per minute from a landline but i don't usually use that.
the product is like a normal newsagent calling card except with extras like that i just call one local UK number and it connects me directly to my parents without having to dial their number. also i can check my balance.
i do wish it was 1p a minute from my mobile too, but really it is still very cheap, much less than with o2.
I have no complaints with your service it is always very good. I enjoy talking to my Family in Cyprus and find it the most reliable way of getting a good conversation without any delay , only sometimes is there a very slight overlap but nothing to complain about. I just wonder if my sister can get the same setup from Cyprus to UK or infact from Cyprus to Nigeria, its s big ask but wonder if there is any way this is possible.
I will continue ussing Dial to save.
I have one question, I quite often want to use my account at dsomeone elses house, which I did once and they ended up with a connection bill of quite as few pounds which obviously I paid, could never quite work out what that it was about, perhaps you could explain it to me.
Sincerely
Jenny Jones
they are amazing, very fast and friendly..easy to add funds to your account and make calls to any country. i would advise anyone to use dialtosave.
Good service. However sometimes the line goes silent. Overall no concerns and very happy with service.
I frequently call Pakistan mobile to mobile. It is brilliant, no other service lets me call Pakistani mobiles for so cheap and from my own mobile!!
I really love the billing process, it updates your balance within seconds literally. It is really quick, efficient and easy to use. No cards, no hassle.
I only have one complaint. I don't know if this because of my phone's provider or my friend's provider but unfortunately sometimes the call quality can be quite low. However overall, I can say the service is great.
A 4-Star Service
The billing service is very accurate, and offers many options for credit topup making the service reliable and efficient.
So far; no complaints.
Me & my family have been using dial To Save for nearly a year now and on the odd occasion where we unsure of something or when there had been a misunderstaning (on my side)
I was given nothing but great customer service with a satisfactory outcome. Hence why I am taking time to give them two thumbs up!
Also the use of the system has been made so easy with great connection quality. Try them & you will see for yourselves
: )
Good value for money :-) Have been using it every day for over a year - a lot better than international calling cards. I would highly recommend it to other people.
I would say the service is excellent, in speed & applying the credit. although the networks can be far from acceptable, I have had many wasted calls whereby repeat calls have been necessary to achieve a decent conversation. (i.e loss of speech/crossed lines, interference etc: At times the calls just cut of randomly. On other occasions I have connected to the same number I always ring 0022077**46**6, & an auto attendant then some prostitute chat line on many occasions telling me what bikini she had on, & what she was prepared to do to me..!!?! Numerous attempts later & lost credit & finally reaching my dialled destination. I intend to try elsewhere.
I have given a rating of 5 out of 5 due to the excellent service I have had from Dial to Save. Many companies have failed at what you have achieved. Keep up the good work, don't become complacent.
The service is excellent, i was using a different company and it was a nightmare. I had connection problems, interuptions, the line kept dropping in the middle of the conversation. However since i came across dial to save i have been one happy person. My calls are smooth, and i dont have to call half a dozen times before i'm actually connected. Everything is straight forward with dial to save. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend dial to save
i really appreciate to use the dial to save service as it provide me lots of facilities to get in touch with my relatives.
great service get free £2 everytime you top up £20 i use it alot to call S.A from my mobile and from my home phone and there is an 0800 number to use from your home phone its saved me loads on my mobile bill would recomend to anyone :)
I use dialtosave about twice a week to call either israel or america. It's 1p a minute to either place, and I haven't found anything cheaper than that. I have an account with them which i mainly use from my home line because i have free local calls, but i used it a couple of times from my mobile and that worked fine too. As long as the price stays low, i'll carry on using dialtosave.
