2nd Chain broke on 3rd day - Diamond Lost

Revised Review:
Having lost the first diamond, i bought another. Again it arrived very quickly. They were very helpful throughout and have supplied a strnger chain free of charge. Moral: insure jewellery!

Revised Review: Having got the replaced chain back it then broke 3 days later. This time we were not so lucky - the diamond pendant is lost. We have looked everywhere. I cannot believe that these chains are so weak.

Old Review, 5 stars:
i spent a long time trying lots of diamond sites. All the sliders for size, cut, colour etc were an education. So i got the best i could for the money and it seemed a little bit cheaper than elsewhere. Ordered the chain and pendant and it arrived within a few days. It was a couple of weeks before i actually gave the present. 10 days later the chain broke. I was worried that as so much time had passed they might have got nasty, but the didn't. I sent the chain back which they replaced with what i am told is a slightly thicker chain! And it again happened within a couple of days.
Is it a real diamond with real gold? I have no idea. It comes with a certificate and you just have to hope that the site certification means something.

I'm sorry to hear that the second chain has broken, all of our chains are marked with the appropriate Assay Office Marks, and are of course real gold.

Our diamonds are 100% Genuine and we offer several different levels of certification.

The fact the we have replaced on chain free of charge clearly shows we are willing to help our customers as much as possible.

I'm afraid we can't replace diamonds free of charge, but if you contact us direct we will see what we can do.

DIIIIIIAMONDS!!!

Travelled a loooong way to visit diamond heaven. And on reflection me and the fella definitely made the right choice. (May not seem that with the petrol pump queues!) But anyway!

The young lady was very helpful throughout, We were greeted with a smile and asked if we would like some assistance. As we'd just arrived I decided I'd like to have a bit of a browse first. She politely left us to look and asked us to grab her if we wanted a closer look. After a brief look I decided I couldn't wait!

I'd done my research so knew I was after a GIA diamond, preferably about a carat or there about. There was plenty to choose from and we were explained the benefits of each stone as we went through. After picking this lovely 1 carat diamond we then looked through all our available rings to put my diamond in. Decided on a simple platinum mount. (Went for four claws as advised by the young lady)

After some smiling and persuasion John got out the plastic and we were done! I treated us to a coffee while our ring was finished off, John felt sorry for himself I think!

When we'd finished with our caffeine fix we went back to pick up MY new ring and it looks amazing! Had a quick fashion show with a few of the other sales assistants then left with my new ring firmly on my finger :)

From start to finish everything was perfect. The lady who served me was lovely, the diamond was and IS lovely I couldn't be happier. John on the other hand may cry about his bank balance for a while. Oh well! I'm sure he'll forget next time he needs some more golf clubs.

If your buying a diamond please, please, please give diamond heaven a look. You won't regret it!

So beautiful!!

Picked my lovely diamond cluster on the diamond heaven website! The minute I saw it I knew that was the one I wanted.

Despite my husbands panic we found the ring was easily within our budget and managed to upgrade the diamonds! Took just under 2 weeks to arrive and I can't stop looking at it.

Visited diamond heaven with my fiancee to buy our wedding rings. The staff were extremly helpful and put up with me being indecisive for nearly 2 hours. In the end we got there and after just picking up the rings yesterday I'm thrilled!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING EARRINGS!

I was given money at Christmas so decided to order diamond earrings for myself. I Googled a few websites but found Diamond Heaven to appear to be the best value - I wasn't wrong! The earrings arrived yesterday and I am absolutely thrilled with them - they are so beautiful, sparkly and perfect. Brought a diamond engagement ring with a matching diamond wedding band from diamond heaven. My girlfriend spent ages looking thorugh (what seemed like) hundreds of websites for her perfect ring. She narrowed it down to diamond heaven and instruced me with what she wanted. I gave there birmingham office a call and found the girl on the other end to be extremly helpful. She took me through all the options and assured me my girlfriend would love the ring. It arrived last week and we were both speachless. Amazing ring in 8 days!

I purchased a diamond ring for my fiancee from diamond heaven, Money was astonishingly less than high street prices! I was orginally worried about buying online but, after speaking to the customer service staff I felt much better. Standard delivery was a bit longer than I had until the big day, but diamond heaven managed to get it to me in 8 days! amazing! I asked the question and she said yes :) I made a mistake on the ring size however diamond heaven managed to alter this for me so I wasn't left with a problem. Diamond Heaven sourced me a beautiful 1.00ct Round diamond engagement ring. I honestly thought I would have to save up for a bit longer but after speaking to them they managed to give me a range of options. I presented it to my girlfriend (now fiancée) and she loved it! After trawling round the high street and being seriously unimpressed with the quality and value of what was on offer decided to give these guys a go. Do yourself a favour and do the same, you will not be disappointed! The solitaire diamond ring we received is absolutely fantastic and of a far higher quality and size than we could have ever afforded from the high street. I was kept informed of the status of the order throughout and the ring arrived before my deadline as promised. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Oustanding - All round Perfect

This is the third ring I have bought from Diamond Heaven over the last 3 years (Commitment Ring, Solitaire Engagement Ring, Diamond set wedding Band) Each order has required a lot of effort from Diamond Heaven as I am not the most organised person and therefore speed of Order processing and Delivery has been essential. I cannot stress enough how they have always been willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
As well as perfect customer service the quality of the end product is perfect and I would not purchase from anywhere else as the rings have all been top quality at a price that I cannot find to be matched anywhere else.

I honestly couldn't wish for a better level of service. I live and work in Saudi Arabia and the quality of customer service from Diamond Heaven was first class. I received prompt and courteous replies from all my emails, the ring was prepared within the quoted timescale, the delivery was within a few days and the ring was totally amazing.
My wife is a lover of fine diamonds and the ring was excellent to say the least. When she seen it for the first time she was totally overcome with emotion. Superb!

The service and product are both first class! My wife loves her solitaire engagement ring which would have been at least twice the price from a national high street jeweller. There is no need to worry about ordering online as everything is 100% genuine and trustworthy - I did have some intrepidations beforehand. I have had the ring independantly valued at Beav*******ks when we took it in to get cleaned prior to the wedding and they commented how nice the ring was and asked where I got it from. Comes with certification. I have recommended it to friends already!!

Excellent Quality Service

I ordered a pair of Emerald Cut diamond ear rings from Diamond Heaven as a present for my wife.
The website was clear, well laid out and easy to use - more importantly what I ordered was EXACTLY what arrived - on time!
The company has excellent customer service with a very rapid response time to any inquiry. My only question was regarding delivery and it was replied to within 4 hours.
I would not hesitate to use them again for further jewelry purchases especially as my wife has an eye for the more expensive items.

got my order just in time for my holiday. arrived the morning we were leaving and was over the moon whn it got delivered.

an inquires i had about my order were answered asap. no more than 24 hrs.

only thing that let them down was they never actually stated that the order would take 3 weeks. If that was mentioned prior to ordering it then it would be 5 stars.

Saying that i would use them again. I had a great experience dealing with this company.

I'd changed my mind on numerous occasion's on whether to order over the internet or not. However after speaking to diamond heaven I finally decided to take the plunge.

After a short wait the ring has arrived and it's blown me away. The diamond sparkle's amazingly and the design is exactly as I hoped it would be.

Very Very bad quality ring

I ordered my ring 15/05 and after 4 days I decided to change my order and put diamond in platinum . On 19/05 I paid additional amount and was told that the waiting time for my ring would start from this day. After 2 weeks (1/06/2011) I contacted them and I was told that my ring would be on time before the 9th of June.

Unfortunately they failed to fulfill their promise and I received my ring after 4 weeks on 16/06/2011.

The ring which I received was very very bad quality. There were very deep scratches and marks after file on the metal. Whole surface was mat and the ring has never been polished before.

Also the IGL Diamond Certificate is different than they show you at their website. I received small id card (credit card size) instead of A4 format size certificate as they advertise and show at DH website.

On the same day I sent a complaint about the bad quality and asked for an oportunity of sending back because I wanted to get the ring in perfect gloss. Of course they agreed for that but I would have to send back the ring for my own expense and again waiting ages for getting it back. So I gave up and paid for polished at my local jewellery shop .
The shop assistant was very surprised and said that this ring should never been released to customer because of bad quality handwork.

Please do not belive in bargains . It was too good to be true. In the neer future I am goin to make GIA Independent Certification to make sure that the diamond is the same as I paid for.

First of all please let me apologize for your dissatisfaction with the service you have received.

I have looked into your order and can only apologize for the delay you experienced and also that the polish was not good enough. As platinum is such a durable metal it can sometimes retain the marks from when it’s being made longer than other metals. However all our platinum is hallmarked 950 by the assay office in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter to confirm the metal is up to the required standard.

With the IGL report we have small reports and big reports, you will find that other grading laboratories such as the GIA,IGI and AGI also follow this practice.

If the ring had been returned to us and you explained that you needed it quickly we would have had the work carried out the same day then re-sent back out to you by the end of business the same day. I would imagine due to your circumstances we would have been able to sort out a collection for you. You could have alternatively come into our store in the jewellery quarter and we would have had the work done while you waited.

In closing I can only apologize for the inconvenience. If we have an issue arise we do our best to rectify the matter and to also learn from it to improve our company further. If you require any further help don’t hesitate to contact us or visit our store in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter.

Ordered my engagement ring over the internet, had bit of a wait but wow was it worth it. I have to say without a shadow of a doubt it's the most beautiful ring I have ever seen (have looked at quite a few over the past months too). The workmanship its absolutely exquisite and very intricate and first sight of my ring literally took my breath away. Brilliantly priced ring and great customer service

I've bought a 18ct Shoulder Set Diamond Engagement ring from Diamond Heaven which arrived today. I've never bought jewellery online so had my reservations at first with this type of distance selling.

I managed to get through a number of review sites and saw mainly positive reviews so decided to take the plunge.

Must admit that I've been panicing a bit during the provisioning process wait. Was worried that the excellent price of the ring would mean that the gold thickness would be skimped on..

Can honestly say that the ring looks outstanding and felt the need to put other peoples minds at ease. I rang DH on a number of occassions to check on progress and was always dealt with polietly and given accurate information.

The only reason this isn't given the perfect 5 stars is that the ring was delayed to 4 weeks instead of 2-3 as stated for this ring type. For this price though I'm still incredibly happy with the purchase and sure my girlfriend will be amazed.

Brilliant Service, catering to my needs

I had been trying to make a decision on an engagment ring for months. I eventually found one and took the plunge with diamond heaven. They were brilliant. There was a delay with my shipment but i was emailed striaght away and any correspondance was instantly answered. Fabulous Customer Service And High Standard Of Workmanship.

To say I was delighted with my Platinum Diamond Eternity ring is an understatement.....it is out of this world !
My husband bought me the ring for our upcoming 1st wedding anniversary on 10th of September.....it is so special to me as it has 10 diamonds !
The diamonds are fabulous, really good cut ,clarity and carat and the setting is just beautiful.

I had three individual, diamonds set with the help of the assistant in the shop, the whole process was very tastefully done, discreet and advice that was absolutely spot on. The diamonds were mounted and delivered on time with the finished item exceeding my expectations. I have purchased an eternity ring since which I ordered with a different metal and higher carat value than I had anticipated due to the exceptional value offered by diamond heaven, thanks guys, will be in touch in time for my daughters birthday!
