Avoid at all costs

My dad brought a LG 26" tv combo on 26th Sept, tv never arrived even after several phone calls. Tried to get a refund but no luck so far.

Liars - Take orders but don't ship goods & don't refund money

If you have any sense do not use Digico.
My expeience is that they are habitual liars. They took my money and did not ship the goods.

The item I ordered was listed on their web site as 'in stock'. The money was immediately debited from my credit card. After 3 weeks and numerous phone calls in which they kept assuring me that the goods would be with me within a couple of days I had to cancel the order.

I was then told on at least 4 occasions that my money was going to be refunded back to my credit card but this never happened.

Fortunately I received e-mail confirmation of the order cancellation because after 30 days Digico had still not refunded my money. I had to contact my credit card disputes office and get them to refund my money. Note that you need evidence that you have cancelled an order for the credit card company to take any action.

PS: I placed the same order with Digitech Electronics and couldn't have been happier with their fast service.

Not trustworthy - do not buy from them

I ordered a microwave after phoning to check that they had it in stock. As expected I received an online confirmation that my order had been accepted, money taken from my credit card - but thereafter nothing else - no delivery date - nothing. I called after 7 days and got told that the microwave was out of stock - no explanations were given as to why I was told that it was in stock in the first place, but instead I was told that fresh stock would be arriving in 2 days and I would have my microwave in 7 days. 7 Days passed and nothing again. Frustrated I called up again and asked to cancel my order. I asked them when my money would be refunded and was told in 3-4 working days - well its taken just over 4 weeks and that too with me making calls every week. I am an avid online shopper and I have never had an experience as such - accordingly I will not be purchasing from this company again - I will advise you not to bother as well.

nearly 2 months on, no refund

I originally ordered a Sony cybershot on the webiste as it says in stock it said it would be dispatched within 48hours, waited a week, nothing, sent 5 emails no reply, asked for refund 3 times, no reply, contacted Consumer Direct and they told me that I should send a recorded mail letter. I did, about 3 weeks ago, no reply. I am getting really frustrated, one of the worst shopping site on the earth. I do internet shopping about 10 times a month, never ever had such a horrible service.

Don't waste your time or money with Digico.co.uk !!!!!

Ordered and paid (£1497.00) for a SONY 52" LCD TV on 9th Feb 2009 and was told delivery would be a week ....a week past and I called again to chase delivery, and was told it would end of Feb...end of Feb was told it would be Mid March...called again and told it would be end of March...there's a pattern forming here!!! - We were told that our original choice of LCD would be upgraded free of charge to the latest model to "compensate us for the delay, but guess what, at the end of March we were told it would be end of April. Every time the same excuse was used - supplier issues, I even called the supplier and asked if these TV were available, and was told the best thing to do was cancel my order...I got the impression that the supplier was a ware of this company and had been contacted by customers before with the same problem, On the 26th April I cancelled the order and asked for a refund of my money back onto my Credit Card...Was told it would take 3 working days...3 working came and went, no money refunded.....5 days passed and I called them - was told that the finance department "were'nt in" and to "call back on Tuesday 6th May. This company have done nothing but give false promises, sold goods they don't have in stock, taken my money and sat on it for two months, lied to me about refunding it - refunding a credit card takes 5 minutes using the supervisors card that comes with all EPOS (credit card machines), and even refused to refund it when I said I put a dispute in with the credit card company over it.... So I now have a dispute open through Egg (Visa) to claw back the money and any interest charges, plus costs - Trading Standards are also involved. Digico.co.uk part of DEO / TTC has mugged me for this money and to add insult to injury I now have to wait for Egg (visa) to investigate this which could take upto 3 months before I get the money credited back on my card.....If your still reading this - take my advice...DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY....These people do not have any integrity at all.

DIGICO AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! I ordered a TV from this company as their website stated that the item was in stock; however, after ordering the item and paying for it on my credit card I heard nothing, except for an automated reply stating that “If my order was successful” it would be despatched shortly? After 2 days with no confirmation as to whether my order was successful I called Digico only to be told that they do not have any stock!!! I complained as their website stated that they do, I received no apology and was told that I would have to wait at least 3 weeks!!! After sourcing another TV elsewhere I called Digico and advised that I wanted a refund as they failed to supply an item that they advertised as being in stock and was promised that my refund would be processed. Unfortunately after many emails and calls my money was not refunded until almost one month later!!!! During one of their calls their sales manager told me to file a dispute with my credit card company if I am not happy with them, he advised that there was nothing that they can do and said that I could not speak to their finance department. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! The falsely advertise that goods are in stock, charge your card immediately, then sit on it to gain the interest and if you are lucky they might order the item you wanted some time later and send it to you after they have raked in all the interest on your money. Completely dishonest and have no level of customer service at all!!!! Do yourself a favour and buy your electricals from somewhere else!!!!

No stock, no refund!

Same experience as others. Item shown as in stock so placed an order. One week later, phoned to find out what had happened and was told they were waiting for stock from supplier! Waited another week, still nothing so cancelled order. Two weeks later still waiting for refund. AVOID THESE COWBOYS AT ALL COSTS! NB They also trade as Digital Empire Online.

Fraudulent activity

I bought LCD TV. After 1.5 months of lies no delivery. I have cancelled transaction but no refund. I reported fraud to my bank and they trying to get my money back. NEVER BUY ANYTHING OF THEM.

no stock!!!!

Ordered a TV (Fri) for next working day (Mon). I rang on the monday to cheack it was arriving only to be told that it was out of stock! when placing order it said they were in stock and it let me go through with the order, i have asked for a refund as they said it would be march before they can deliver. Have since read some more reviews to find others have experienced the same and some are still waiting for their refund or delivery!! Stay clear!!!!

Don't bother

When placing an online order the item was in stock, however I had to phone Digico 5 working days later (as they don't open at weekends!) only to find they had "oversold the item". I was promised the item would be with me in 2-3 days time and someone would call me with a delivery date. Noone called so I called them back, this time I was told "it's the manufacturers fault they haven't been delivered". Wish they would make their mind up with their excuses. To top it off their website initially stated it took American Express, then said it didn't, then said it had taken my order when it actually hadn't. I had to wait over a whole weekend to place the order again as they don't open at weekends. I have since canceled my order as they are now saying delivery is at least 2 weeks away, however, they have already taken the money from my credit card!!!!!!!!!!! Just goes to prove, cheaper isn't always better - stay clear.
