I bought a universal rechager for my Canon battery from these guys thinking that I'd got a good deal and was delighted when the kit arrived including an adaptor that would allow me to recharge my camera battery in the car. First of all I tried the mains charger on my battery. All appeared to be going well until I put what I took to be a fully recharged battery back in my camera - nothing. The battery will no longer work yet I had recharged it many times with a Canon recharger which I thought I'd lost. I subsequently tried to recharge the battery with my Canon recharger and it doesn't work on this battery which has somehow been damaged by these guys' product. I contacted them to say as much and requested a new Canon battery which they refused as they said it was probably my battery and not the charger although as a gesture of good will they would refund the cost of the chager. Not a great deal of good when my Canon battery is now dead and the cheapest I can find it on the web is over £43.
I am really impressed with this company. The reason being "communication". I was immediately informed that the battery ordered may be a little late to arrive as it was out of stock at the time. In spite of this it arrived very quickly. I then had problems with the battery (my fault not the battery) I wrote to Digitalmedeastore and immediately I had a reply with good advice which resolved the problem. I am really pleased with this service and look forward to buying more items in the future
Being a bit of a techno-dunce, I ordered the wrong battery by mistake and digitalmediastore staff were very helpful in working out where I'd gone wrong and what battery I should have ordered.
Their replies were very quick and thankfully in clear English - this was a great relief as I bought something off ebay which supposedly came from UK but the supplier couldn't sort a problem because they obviously weren't english speaking.
Once they'd sorted out what I needed they arranged return for refund of the wrong one and I ordered the right one which was delivered quickly by Royal Mail as the first one was.
As I'm fairly new to buying online I was very grateful for their courteous and quick help in sorting out my mistake.
Whilst my enquiry was only for a small battery my email was answered promptly and courteously. In the response I was offered a number of alternatives and once I chose the one I wanted, the website was easy to use (for an old fogey like me). Delivery was quick and the product was well packed. Well done DigitalMediaStore - keep up the good work
I purchased a replacement re-chargeable battery for my Fuji camera that did not work from the start - it would not accept a charge from the docking unit.
After contacting the supplier, Digital Media Store, I was initially asked 'to try cleaning the terminals' and other such ineffective solutions.
The battery was returned and proven, I will freely admit, to be working correctly.
However it does not operate in my camera and so I wanted a refund.
This request has been consistently denied
The correspondence that I have received has been lengthy with great attempt made to be condescending and patrionising.
I thought that the customer was always right?
Why do I want a battery that does not operate my camera?
I would never deal with this company again
