Consistently amazing service!

This is the second camera I've ordered from Digital Rev. I can't recommend them highly enough.

This time, the order was placed around 9/10am, it arrived by 4pm the next day!

I have never had an issue with either of the cameras I have ordered, so can't comment on how well DigitalRev perform on returns etc...

Would definitely use them for all my camera purchases.

Good prices, excellent service, but.......

As mentioned in several reviews, the pricing is attractive compared to local (UK) prices, with a saving of approximately 25%. Delivery was swift, two days from ordering to receipt of the Canon Powershot S110 camera.

The 'but' here is that the user manual is in Chinese. OK, it is not the end of the world as you can readily download a copy in pdf format from Canon's web site . It is more of an slight inconvenience but it would have been good to clearly state this on their site and let the buyers decide if they are prepared to trade this for the saving in price.

If I were in the market for something like a lens, I would certainly consider buying from this company again. However, if it is for an item I felt I would need to refer to its user manual, I would carefully think again.

arrived quickly!

Ordered over the weekend, 3 days later the full order came! I purchased a 650D with 50mm lense and 16gb card, and all were packed together in the same camera box. That makes me happy because it conserves space, reduces waste and means someone looked into my product box to ensure all was well! 5 Stars! I'll be ordering more from you soon!

Excellent, no fees, super fast delivery!

Saved around £500-£600 buying from DigitalRev rather than the UK and i recieved my camera in around 3 days although i did order on a sunday. There were no import fees to pay and the parcel was very well padded and protected in transit. Great company and also great communication. A+++++

You're better off buying from the UK.

OK, the prices speak for themselves, and is often hard to see past the apparent savings. However, my experience wasn't great.
I bought a Canon camera on a Monday morning, expecting is to be dispatched at worst the following day (as they promise). Tuesday afternoon I received an email asking to confirm my shipping address and a landline number. This is very unusual practice, and although they claimed that they needed it to make sure there were no mistakes, it was clearly stated on the order summary. As a result the dispatch was delayed by 2 days.
When it did eventually arrive, ( all present and correct, I have too add) the full understanding of what a 'grey import' is, was realised. Although they don't overtly advertise the fact that you are importing whatever you buy from Hong Kong, I was aware. Now, I don't read Mandarin, which is a big handicap it turns out. In fact the only English text was the Digital Rev warranty which replaced the standard Canon UK warranty (as it is imported). I hope that nothing goes wrong with the camera as my experience of these 3rd party warranties is poor.
On a final note, this feedback scheme is heavily biased. If you are willing to leave positive feedback, you are directed here. If not, then you are directed to their complaints dept. Very sneaky.

How can one improve on perfection.

Consider I ordered my Nikon 85mm f1.4D, on a bank holiday here in the UK & Digital Rev, processed it, emailed confirmation of order & keep me fully informed of, picking, shipping, delivery & tracking. I was stunned.
My lens arrived in just a few days, beautifully packaged in lots of bubble wrap. The gold Nikon box was unmarked & the contents factory fresh. The lens is a joy on my D3, even though I am yet to put it to a full test.
I would recommend this company & love to view the teams exploits, especially, Alamby, Kai and Lok. When I save up a few more pounds, will return for more.

I've been looking at getting an x100s for months but all of the major outlets on the East Coast were backorders (and some still area).

I found DigitalRev through another search. The web purchasing interface was clean and colorful, and the camera was in stock! Received the item and I couldn't be happier!

Excellent service all round!

I was a little apprehensive about ordering all the way from Hong Kong to the UK, but decided to go for it!
I need not have worried, my order was dispatched on the Wednesday and I was able to track it all the way to Wales, UK, until it was delivered to me two days later!
The items were very well packed for the journey and arrived undamaged.
The camera and accessories have been put to good use already and are all excellent.
The only downside is that the manual etc. included with the camera is in Chinese, but it does give a website to download the English version.

Great Service! Great Price for a Grey Import ... Works Perfectly!

I decided to 'bite-the-bullet' and get a Canon 7D, for at least £300 cheaper than a UK version but still with a 1 year warranty (albeit via DigitalRev rather than Canon). The alternative was a 700D ... but in my opinion 7D > 700D although based on much older technology. Checked out the feedback on the website from other customers and went forward with the purchase. Waited for the item to arrive with baited breath ... Delivery was tracked throughout, prompt and arrived on specified day with SMS updates. Item was wrapped in maybe 4-5ft of bubble wrap - and nestled safely was the canon 7D box plus a few extras I ordered.

So far I have not had any problems, I am only just starting in the world of enthusiast photography - I am no expert. My only gripe, (and it is a minor one); all the documentation was in Japanese - not a big deal since the English PDF can be downloaded from Canon's website. But when your just starting and a solid bit of kit arrives with a Bible-sized manual that makes no sense to you the reader, it can feel intimidating.

To date not had any issues or problems, so I am unable to comment on DigitalRev aftersales/support. I have no regrets following this purchase and I am very pleased with the product and service from DigitalRev.

Now, Photography Community what's all this rumour nonsense about a 7D Mk2 and where can I get one???

just getting back into photography after a good few years.read all the reviews always ending back at digital rev for there unbiased reviews and cracking videos plus trust me these guys are great value for money .anway bought canon 700d ,canon 17-55 f2.8 and after much deliberation bought the canon 70-200 IS USM f4 .felt sick spending all that cash but when you see the quality of the glass omg its worth every penny !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kai your the dogs b******s.........

Great delivery, but won't replace a faulty lens!

Bought a lens that was delivered on 8th May. Tried it on camera and it worked, took it first wedding on 19th May to fully exercise it, kept on coming up with error message on camera. Next wedding on 25th May, used different camera body. Same error message. Contacted on 26th May, because lens ordered on 30th April out of 14 days returns policy, even though I did not receive it until 8th May. No budge from them. They will only repair and not replace or refund. Making a claim through my credit card company now, will NEVER use again! Steer Clear!

Simple, fast delivery and good customer service.

I just received my Canon EOS 600D yesterday. Delivery is fast from Hongkong to UK. Camera is perfectly wrapped, Definitely a 5 start for me!!

From order to delivery I received my Canon 60D in two days!!....that's 2 days from Hong Kong to England...yes TWO days!! At first I was wary of buying from abroad but had a look around the site and read about the company on forums and this put my mind at rest..the savings will pay for half of my next lens..quite a bit! The cameras that DigitalRev sell are probably one of the cheapest on the Internet today. The service was brilliant and delivery even better. Amazing quality and quick delivery!

Quick fast delivery with DHL - trustworthy company. Well packaged and secure, everything came as expected for the best price possible (although I found HOYA UV filters cheaper on Amazon)

Review of products;
Canon 100D - By far the best £500-odd I've spent in my life. Despite being a die-hard viewfinder user I've really loved using the live-view mode, and the autofocus in video has really excelled. For all those who turn their noses up at it's APSC size and toy-like features, it's SO SMALL I take it absolutely anywhere, opening up opportunity for amazing snaps which would have been lost when lugging around a bulkier (however superior) camera. I took it into college for my last few days and several friends got to use it. They all, without fail, fell in love with it, the touchscreen, the joy of using it, ergonomics. I'm blown away.
40mm 2.8 STM 'pancake lens' -
By far the best accompanying lens for the camera, compliments it's form-factor beautifully. Great for the 'one camera one lens' philosophy, if you had to choose just one lens for this cam it would be this. It doesn't off-balance the camera when it's on the neck-strap, very sharp and fast 2.8 aperture. Build quality is 10/10, although I'm disappointed by the motor noise. Compared to the 18-55 kit lens which is actually COMPLETELY SILENT AND LIGHTNING FAST, the 40mm Pancake STM motor makes considerably more noise, which is disappointing since I wanted to use it for video, and unavoidable due to it's focus-by-wire.

Digital Revved Right Up

I ordered a Canon priime lens, some filters and a 64Gb SDXC card (which DigitalRev are by far the cheapest for btw), in the early hours of Saturday, got a phone call a few hours later (when everyone normal had woken up), to confirm my order, was given tracking info, texts to tell me how my order was progressing and where it was, and I watched that order literally fly around the world in 24 hrs and arrive at my house in the UK on Monday morning.
I would have no problem at all recommending their excellent service and prices and will be using them for all of my future photographic needs. Awesome company who keep you well informed all the way to your doorstep. No reservations. A++++

I ordered a lens from you on Friday the 17th May and by Monday Lunchtime I had my lens. I have to say this was excellent response time and I will defnintely be buying fromn your store again.

Purchased Fuji X20 and couldn't be happier. The staff was very helpful on the email as I really wanted a silver one when wasn't available at the time. I was told I might have to wait 2 weeks for the supplier which I was willing to do. To my surprise, the camera was shipped two days later...! The shipping was easily tracked and it got over here super fast considering it was a bank holiday! Perfect service with the best price. Highly recommend to everybody.

While I am used to the waiting times from anywhere relating to Hong Kong. I did not expect this to arrive so fast like it did. it wasn't even three full days until. It arrived at the door step. DigitalRev's customer service is top with the communication making sure everything, shipping and billing is correct before sending.

I bought Tamron 24-70 2.8 initially i was little worried because it is most cheapest price comparing with B&H and it is also shipping from HongKong. But I was shocked with the service and I got my lens just in 3 business days which is Amazing. Keep it up guys. Fantastic Delivery time and support

I ordered a Canon EOS60D from DigitalRev on a Saturday and received it from Hong Kong on the following Wednesday. Was able to track where the package was via DHL all the way and prior to DHL picking it up the DigitalRev web site kept me aware of what state it was in their system.

When I got the camera I made a really silly assumption about the power charger (my fault) which they answered via email immediately and even sent me a quick video clip to demonstrate.

Can't praise them enough.

Hong Kong to Westminster in 37 hrs

I was really impressed with the delivery. It was sent by DHL express which you can track at all times and it will show you the itinerary that the box is going through.

I ordered on a Sunday night and that same morning at 5am it went dispatched. I received the item on Tuesday afternoon and everything has been ok so far.

Would recommend to anyone.
