No goods, No refund

I ordered 2 items from DirectShop in December. The first was delivered but the second worth £449 (though showing as in stock when ordered) was then advised post transaction as being out of stock. They advised a delayed delivery of early new year so I stuck with them due to competitive pricing. They advised the item was despatched early January but as it wasn't received a week later they said it was out of stock again and had gone missing - courier's fault (Royal Mail).

Long story short after chasing a few times they advised on 9th February 2012 a refund would be made and that this may take up to 30 days. 31 days later, no refund, no communication, having read the poor experiences (and having emailed DirectShop that this is the course I would take) I lodged a dispute with credit card company who refunded after 3 further weeks. Got goods same price on Fitness-Superstore within 4 days or order.

Bunch of cowboys - steer clear

Begrudgingly rated with one star - really should be minus 5!
We purchased a netbook in December which arrived with a faulty charger and would not connect to the internet. After returning it at our own cost we were told it hadn't been received back until I sent proof of delivery. I have sent tons of emails to them, most of which have been fobbed off with and have still not received the netbook back. The 'helpline' never gets answered and you can't leave a message. Now the website is 'down for maintenance' and has been for weeks. Customer service is zero. They are a nightmare to deal with. This is now in the hands of Trading Standards.

Terrible Company

I have been waiting 3 months for a refund & they keep ignoring all my emails. We have even had an email from customer services confirming that they have received the goods back but still no refund has been made. They are a disgrace.

A DISGRACE OF A COMPANY - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM

I have been waiting for a replacement from this company for over 4 months now! On 01/07/11, I bought the Bowflex 552 dumbbells and within only 3 months one of them became faulty. I contacted them on 18/10/11 to report this and finally on 28/11/11 they told me my replacement would be issued within the week. On 08/12/12, after hearing nothing I enquired and was told it would now be issued in the first week of January. On 23/01/12, again after hearing nothing, I enquired and was told it had been shipped to me on 13/01/12. However I never received the dumbbell and there was no courier note through the door to advise of any attempted delivery. As said by others, this company has zero customer service, refuses to answer the phone and cowardly hides behind email contact. Most recently, I have written to them on 23/01/12, 26/01/12, 30/01/12 and 06/02/12 (recorded delivery) to which they havent even bothered to reply.

Avoid this website!!!

Ordered an item on 21st Jan, a month on it still hasn't been delivered so I gave up waiting so requested refund. I wonder how long that will take them as they have no customer services telephone number where I can talk to anyone (the number on their website never gets answered).
I'm hoping to receive my money one day.. Naive girl I know..

Awful company - no customer service & no apologies for it!

I bought an item with Directshop.co and a day later was emailed asking me to pay extra for shipping as their system had not applied the correct amount at time of payment (it said free shipping online).

Due to false claim of free shipping I did not want to pay additional amount for shipping so Directshop.co cancelled my order and advised me my refund would be applied in 5-10 days (with a maximum period of 30 days).

That was in December, yet now in February (8 weeks and many emails ignored emails later) they still keep saying they don't know why my refund has not gone through and that they will pass this info on to the accounts department.

I have emailed them - they don't respond!
I have attempted to webchat them - they say my email is marked as spam! (I resorted to using a friends email address to get a response)
I have messaged them from my Directshop account - no reply!
Their phone number apparently no longer works and they refuse to call people back if you ask them to via webchat.

Plain and simple - they WILL NOT ENGAGE!

My advice - steer clear if you're smart. Their 'deals' don't show hidden costs, time and energy wasted!

Non-existant customer service

This company has no phone number and no physical presence that you can contact. It never answers emails and hides behind an instant messaging service that usually does not function - when it does promises are made but never kept.
I bought a mini-netbook which had a charger that did not work. Six weeks later I still have not had a replacement and find it impossible to contact the company. I would have returned the goods but suspect I would never see my money again. Customer service promises and guarantees are worthless if you are not able to contact the company!

WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD!

I bought a pull up bar from these jokers, and when it finally arrived some 2 weeks late, it was missing parts, rendering it useless.. i would of called but its impossible to find a phone number for these people, they hide behind an email address. So many emails later, i was promised the missing part would be issued and with me within a week. 2 weeks later, no part.

I emailed again, was told initial replacement had been sent but must have been lost in post, and another would be issued immediatley, 2 weeks later.... nothing.. more and more emails... some replied to, some not... im promised all sorts.. so after a month and half of waiting i inform them i want my money back and they can have there broken equipment back.. they are very good at sticking to plans when it comes to picking their stuff back up from you. so they collect it a week later, and i have email explaining i will have refund with in 30 days, but they try to have it done within 10..... 30 days??? haha, but by now im not supprised.. i wait .. and wait... 33 days later.. and nothing.. many emails sent and nothing!! this company is by far and away the biggest joke ive ever come across.. How they can get away with this is luncacy!!!

i will be heading for the courts!

Very easy to deal with, excellent service

I purchased a 7" androaid netbook and it has been first class, does exactly what it says on the label! I would recommend this company.

Nice site with a good layout - Ordered my item on 2nd Nov and was received on 4th Nov - Item was as expected and all is ok up to now. I would use the site again.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THEM

First they sent me the wrong item, then they replaced with a copy of what I had ordered with parts missing. Arranged collection very quickly and advised that I should get my refund by the 12th Oct. I've been chasing it since then and they will not respond to my emails. Had to call my credit card provider today to open an inquiry and perhaps I'll get my refund that way. They're very quick to take your money but, don't want to refund if required. Do not waste your money with them. Avoid them & go to a trustworthy retailer.
