I made a purchase from Israel and was extremely happy with the experience.
1. Price of both squash racket and balls was very good.
2. Shipping was very fast - got it in Israel in 8 days.
3. Automatically removed VAT which basically offset the £15 shipping.
I did not need customer service so I cannot comment.
I got my clothes fast and the prices was great :-)

I ordered a pair of Yonex tennis shoes, and a pack of Babolat vs gut. The price of the products was unbeatable. I chose Royal Mail for the delivery, because it was cheaper.
I got an order confirmation email, but nothing about the dispatch. I contacted their customer service via email and they answered after four working days. That was not that good.
Anyway the delivery was 11 days after payment. From UK to Finland. The shoes were perfect. The Babolat vs gut strings were bt7 although the picture on the page was from a pre-bt7 package. I probably will be their customer anyway in the future because of the prices.
Purchased a Yonex Z-force from this company having had good previous experiences with them. I believed there to be a defect with the racket so sent it back however after Yonex inspected it via Directsports they deemed nothing to be wrong (I'm not complaining about this). However, the customer service during this period was awful. Rang numerous times to ask for an update (racket had been with them for 5 weeks) and every time I was told that they would contact me within the next couple of days. Not once did they ring me to update me or bother to tell me that Yonex had found nothing wrong with the racket. Everytime I had to contact them. Will not be ordering from this company again, I would recommend using alternatives if possible.
AFTER SHOPPING ON LINE FOR OUR GROUP BADMINTON PURCHASE WE DECIDED TO TRY DIRECT SPORTS. WELL PLACING OUR ORDER WAS AN ADVENTURE. SHOPPING CARTS THAT DISAPPEAR AND WHEN REENTERED THE PRICE INCREASES, EMPTY PAGES THAT ONE MUST SCROLL THROUGH BEFORE FINDING THE DESCRIPTION OF THE ITEM. IT TOOK HOURS TO RESEARCH AND PRICE THE ITEMS WE WANTED.
ENQUIRIES REGARDING SPECIFICATIONS AND FURTHER DETAILS WENT UNANSWERED OR WERE PARTIALLY ANSWERED. THIS SCARRED OF SOME OF THE GROUP MEMBERS AND THEY DECIDED TO GO TO OTHER RETAILERS.
DIRECT SPORTS HAS THIS LIVE PRICE MATCH DEAL. THIS SEEMS TO BE NOTHING BUT A HOOK TO GET THE CUSTOMER TO PLACE AN ORDER. BOTH OF THE PRICE MATCH DEALS ON OUR ORDER WERE ACCEPTED AND THEN DENIED AFTER WE PLACED OUR ORDER AND PAID FOR IT. WE RECEIVED AN EMAIL REQUESTING MORE MONEY.
WE RECEIVED AN EMAIL AFTER WE PLACED THE ORDER AND PAID FOR IT. IT REQUESTED THAT WE TELEPHONE THEM REGARDING THE ORDER. WHEN I DID THIS I WAS CONNECTED TO A RECORDED MESSAGE STATING THEY WERE CLOSED. THIS 17 SECOND MESSAGE COST 9.6 GBP AND I LEARNED THAT THE DIRECT SPORTS TELEPHONE IS A MOBILE PHONE THAT HAS THE HIGHEST MOBILE PHONE RATE IN THE WORLD. DIRECT SPORTS FAILED TO CALL BACK AND HAS NOT REPLIED TO SEVERAL EMAILS WE SENT.
30 DAYS LATER AND 309 GBP THE POORER WE HAVE NO MERCHANDISE.
I read all the reviews before continuing with my online purchase of my Babolat Pure Drive Roddick Gt 2012. I felt unsure about the sort of service i would receive more especially when the tracking reference number wouldnt work on the royal mail website. I ordered on the 3rd of December, used royal mail 1st class delivery and spot on received it 10:24 4th December. Dont quite understand the bad reviews though. Will readily use Direct Sports next time.
The whole company is a failure. I bought a few expensive rackets (~£150) and didn't dispatch after 9 days. It didn't bother to inform until I wrote an email. Got replied saying out of stock and the dispatch was hold off till stock arrives. Instantly cancelled purchase. Not my first experience so far.
Don't trust those good ratings and reviews, beware you are scammed. You can only find 1 star or 5 star ratings here. Think again.

As per other customers - trainers ordered and paid for. 10 days later nothing received. No response to phone calls or e-mails.
Poor customer service is an understatement. Fraudulent is probably more accurate.
I bought a hockey stick for my daughter as she's just starting pre-season training. I selected next day delivery and that evening i was sent an email to say my order was on its way with a courier. The tracking gave a one hour time slot for delivery which was really handy so i could tell my daughter to be in the house at that time!
Please bear in mind that although all the other reviews are bad there are only 5 or 6. If only 5 or 6 people have has bad service then they can't be that bad!!!!!!!
Stay away from the above company. It isn't reliable and trustworthy at all. Extremely bad buying experience. Wrong product and quantity dispatched Spend hours and days chasing the company to get the full refund. They are consistent in their ability to fail the customer all the way long. PayPal claim in pending.
Made my order from Denmark on brand new model of Asics Gel Progressive shoes, other sites only had them for pre-order! Order placed monday and I got them the next monday, correct size and model. So I'm very happy with the service from directbadminton!!!
Only issue I had was that I could not use my mastercard but got the order through PayPal... not sure if that is directsports issue or mastercard!
The same exactly occasion like the other guys hava already post in this page. I m from Greece i ' ve already place an order and i ' m still looking to see where the package is ..... And their excuse is the same to EVERYBODY (There is a problem with stock) . I m so dissapointed and i m afraid i will have to cancel my order and lose my precious money by exchanging the currency twice as i m from Greece like the other guy from Portugal. So their policy is exactly same to everyone the WORST ONLINE SHOP WORLDWIDE .
I made a purchase with the Direct Sport E-shop web site on the 8th Feb 2012, after their 3pm deadline for next day delivery.
I felt compelled to write only my 3rd online review after seeing some of the comments made from others on this company.
I can only tell my experience but since ordering my Badminton racket, bag and shuttles on 8th Feb @ 10pm (a weds) I received, as stated an email on Thursday Morning stating that my payment had been processed and that my order was in process.
Approx 5:30pm I received a second email stating my order had been dispatched with the courier, along with a tracking no.
I checked the tracking no this morning (Fri 10th Feb) to find that the parcel had left the couriers local Depot and was due to me between 10:26-11:26 (you don't often get a 1hr delivery slot BIG BROWNIE POINTS!)
I received and signed for my goods at 10:54.
Great service - delivered on time and in good condition with great auto comms from Direct sports.
Don't be put off by a couple of less than good reviews and keep in mind that you are more likely to vocalise a complaint than you are a compliment, and if I can only see 5 bad reviews for a direct fulfillment website/store then they must be doing something right for the majority of their customers........think on.

Purchased a hockey stick and other equipment for my son for Christmas, firstly informed me that the shoes we had selected were unavailable and alternatives they offered us were ladies shoes, pointed out to them that we had ordered mens not ladies shoes!
secondly hockey stick broke after three uses. Emailed them with photos of said stick never heard back. Rang them about it, said they had never seen the email. They told me to send it back, which I did, and within two days of the stick breaking, they received it. For three weeks now I have been fobbed off with them saying that the stick had been sent back to the manufacturer. I have asked on several occasions that they call me, but I have had to keep chasing them. Terribly disheartened, I finally bit the bullet and contacted Grays directly last week, who to date still has not received the stick back from directesport! Even though I have mentioned that it is a matter of urgency, as my son has no stick and has a national cup match this weekend, they apparently sent it back to Grays by second class post and using an untrackable method- how convenient! Even so, second class post does not take 3 weeks. I rang them today and again have been fobbed off with mention that they are dealing with Christmas backlog. Their answer is that I should buy another stick while I wait for the warranty claim. The saga continues!
4th January 5 pairs of shoes ordered and paid.
Almost 2 weeks later, 17th January as items weren't delivered, I asked them what was going on and they told me some items were out of stock! It would take 5 more days.
The 23rd, as nothing happened, I sent them new e-mail setting up the end of the week as limit for order shippment, and I offered them the chance to replace the missing shoes for other options.
3 days later, the 26th, a refund was made costing me bank and currency exchange rates as I'm in Portugal, and order was cancelled.
A [name removed] e-mailed me: "Unfortunately Yonex no longer stock the Yonex SHT 107 (White/Red) size 8.5 and size 7.I’d be grateful if you could take a further look on our website for any suitable alternatives. As you have been delayed I may be able to reduce the cost of more expensive alternatives any are of interest to you."
I wrote him back with some alternatives but the guy never replied.
Almost one month, a dozen e-mails a few GBP's for nothing!
Won't buy from them again.
I ordered a pair of trainers on 20th January 2012 using 2-3 days free delivery, being an avid sports person I needed them as soon as possible. After allowing for the weekend, the money had been taken yet the trainers still had not arrived by Tuesday. After a phone call to ask where they were, I had been told that the trainers were no longer in stock and was not informed that I would not be receiving them. I was then told to recive the updated version of the trainers I had to pay an additional £8, (with a discount of $15 off RRP). I was reassured the trainers would arrive by Thursday 26th or Friday 27th at the latest. A day later they have still not been received and when tracking the order I was told they had NOT been sent. !!! Apparently they will arrive on Monday or Tuesday. I have never known any order to take this long to arrive, nor have I ever had to pay extra for an error by the company. This has caused a great inconvenience, I did not want to hang around for an entire week for a package that never arrived. This is appaulling, I will never be using them again.
Ingen problemer, varen var i hus efter få dage og de har et kæmpe udvalg af tøj og sportsting, grunden til de kun får 4 stjerner er pga. fragtprisen ikke er billig.
