Same as others - ordered glasses, received all legit looking personally typed emails saying they were awaiting stock. 3 weeks later I said they must cancel. They agreed, said Acc's dept would refund me.. Never happened. Am out of pocket and and sunglasses.
Ive just had the same experience as countless others. Order product - wait a week or so - chase order, told product will not be in stock for 2-3 weeks. Decide to cancel order - wait a week or so for refund, chase refund. Told that 'according to terms and conditions' they have 30 days to process a refund. Wait 30 days, still no refund Big waste of time and money
I wouldn't even give this company 1 star!! Working in retail myself I am fully aware of how customer service should work, right the way through from before purchase to dealing with complaints. This company does not!!
I ordered some sunglasses online for a Christmas gift. This was their first mistake. As they didn't have any in stock they should not have accepted my order and, worse still, take full payment from my PayPal account. After 10 days and no product, I called to them discover that they didn't have any in stock and were waiting for a delivery "tomorrow" from their suppliers so if I called back tomorrow then I would know when it would be dispatched. I did exactly that and they agreed to let me cancel my order and get a full refund because they didn't know when their suppliers would deliver next and so I wouldn't get it in time for Christmas.
This was 16th Dec and I'm still waiting for my refund. I was told they had a 30 day policy so I would receive the funds on or before 16th Jan. after one week later and still no refund, I chased it again and their excuse this time was a mishap by the accounts department and I would have my refund by the end of this week. Still nothing!!
I have taken this up with PayPal and am glad I payed through them. I'm hoping they will assist me from here because I'm getting nowhere with the company.
Would love to know if any of those with the same problem as me actually ever got their money back or not.
Placed an order on 10 November. They advertised the product as in stock, after two weeks from the date of order they informed that in stock means quoting: '3-5 days dispatch’ means that the item is with our supplier’s' which unless I am really stupid ins't clear! After waiting 15 days there was still no updates on the order which was very frustrating as it was a present. Decided to cancel the order and they informed it would take 10 days. 15 Days later they say will take 30 days. Glad that I used paypal as I am going to claim it back from them.
Like so many other people who have written reviews on here, I ordered some raybans which never arrived. When I contacted the company they said they were out of stock but they were expecting a delivery soon. I waited and still nothing. Eventually I cancelled the order as I was going on holiday. I asked for refund which I was told would take 10 days, then 30 days. I ordered my glasses on the 30th of August and still have no refund.
I ordered some Animal sunglasses on 24th July. After 10 days, as they had not arrived I rang them. I was told it would be 10 working days. This came and went, still no sunglasses. I rang them again, only to be told the item would not be available until September. As this would be after my holiday, I cancelled the order and bought them elsewhere. At no stage did the company contact me to inform me the item was out of stock and the website still stated the item was in stock! As of 7th October, I am still waiting to get my money back. Avoid this company like the plague
Problem with the Royal Mail delaying delivery (package was sat around in a sorting office!) - after a call to customer services they spoke to RM - who located the package and 48 hours later everything arrived safe and sound.
I wish I had read the previous reviews before ordering my item!
I purchased a pair of sunglasses (over £120!) about a month ago. I emailed within the first week to ask where they were and got a rather snooty email back stating that it can take 3-5 working days to come into stock 'and I should have read that before I ordered'. Of course, the 3-5 days pass. Phone calls are made, emails are sent and as the weeks pass, nothing arrives. They just say 'we're having trouble with our supplier and we'll email you when we send your item out'.
Learn not just from my mistake, but also from all the other one star comments listed here! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
ADDITION: The sunglasses never arrived. I waited months. Now I've asked for a refund and I get polite emails saying it's on it's way. Been nearly two weeks now and no refund. Remember, this order was placed at the beginning of August and it's now October! You can only call it theft.
I ordered some Oakleys from them and the price was good and delivery very fast (with good communications too). So my experience was great from this perspective. However, the Oakleys themselves seem to have a different lens in them to my last identical pair (which were stolen recently) so I am not sure what is going on given then model number is the same. Perhaps they should display information about the lens aswell as the frame? Never mind I should have probably check this before ordering so their performance has been good.
I have had the same experience as many people here - goods out of stock, long delay, refund over due, refund never arriving ... the company present a credible front - reply to e mails etc, but take your money and dont give a refund if they can't complete transaction. They obviously hope customers just give up and put it down to experience.
