Great service your staff bent over backwards to help

A charity event banner was needed and your staff went out of their way to assist and provide a free banner promptly and make the event a success, Many thanks to all concerned.

We are being donated a banner for our charity fun day and I must say never have I experienced such helpful caring staff even if I have only spoke to the over email can't wait for it to arrive

Avoid, do not use this company!!

I used this website due to it being easy to use etc. Or so I thought.

What I wanted was white writing with no background to go on the inside of a window facing out, sounds simple enough.

I looked on their website and was given 4 options to choose from, Permanent Gloss, Permanent Matt, Permanent Clear and Removable Gloss. As I wanted matt white writing I went for the logical choice of Permanent Matt.

I then attached a picture, this picture had a white writing on a black background. I had to do this otherwise the exact font I wanted wouldn't have been seen. I explained in depth in the notes section that I wanted only the writing and that the black background was for demonstration purposes only. I even asked if they were unsure to call me.

After nearly 2 weeks the sticker had not arrived. When it did arrive what I got was a black sticker with clear writing. Defiantly not what I ordered.

I then contacted them to inform them of their mistake. I was told that the mistake was entirely mine. The person on the end of the phone informed me that I had selected the wrong product.

He informed me that I needed to select permanent clear, I tried to explain that this was not what I wanted, only to be shouted at and told that they don't print in white on window stickers. I was then told the only way to find this out was to select permanent clear and that this is what I should have selected. If I had selected this option (and only when I had selected this option) a warning pops up stating that they DO NOT PRINT IN WHITE!!!! This is the only way to find this information out.

Not only this but the scrolling pictures on the order page all have white writing on them.

So all in all I feel that I have had £30 stolen from me.

I work in a tattoo studio, if a customer wants something that we feel will not work we inform them of this and work with them to get the best tattoo possible. This to me is good customer service, something this company apparently prides themselves on providing, in my experience they lack the basic ability to even read!

So my advice, do not ever use this company they will take your money and let you down and then act as if it is all your fault.

Dont bother no replys to problems

I rang to confirm that i needed 2 large banners but with no eyelets, i was told by their phone staff to add it to the notes and that will be fine so i did this on both banners, fair play they arrived quite quickly but with eyelets in them, now when i try to phone there is a answerphone that says they have phone system issues so email, so i have .. repeatedly no one will answer, i would like to note the day they arrived i emailed to confirm that they had been sent and was emailed back in less than 10 minutes just no reply's when i am reporting a problem with their work also these banners are very time sensitive as being used for a show so am going to now have to order the banners elsewhere and try and get my money back from these people

Absolutely Shocking Business / Service / People

Took our money - and didn't deliver!

We sent in an order in August - after the general hassle and chase of getting our order delivered - it finally arrived. However... incorrectly printed. They offer a "reverse printing" option (for car window stickers) which we'd ticked however they claim to not have received. There was no attempt or interest in correcting the mistake - on the phone they're exact attitude was that we were in the wrong and trying to pull a fast one...

So, whilst it felt like ridiculously unnecessary effort to prove that we were right, we recorded a video screen capture of us going through the ordering process that demonstrated that their website was not correctly recording orders. Whilst this seemed like a ridiculous thing to waste time doing - the attitude of the staff on the phone made it clear that obvious evidence was the only way forward.

Having received the video - they finally accepted and apologised and would re-do our order. We posted back the incorrect stickers - however three weeks later, they are now claiming they never received them.... no surprise really given the attitude that they had - any excuse to get out of fixing their mistake at cost. So we are at loss for our order, and seemingly unlikely to receive what we paid for.

Shocking business, shocking people - [Name] (sales manager) especially un-customer friendly. Do not use these people on any account.

AVOID DISCOUNT BANNER PRINTING!

I would rate this company a 0 if I could! I placed an order for my businesses labels and despite paying for next day delivery, it took three weeks to arrive. Furthermore, they then sent me an email saying that if I wrote a positive review for them on my website/blog or trust pilot, I would receive a free £60 voucher. I placed the next order using the voucher back in April and guess what? It's almost July and I still haven't received the labels! I called so many times, send numerous emails- all of which were never replied to. When I called, it went to a foreign voicemail on most occasions. When I finally got through to them, they blamed me claiming that I was being impatient and that it had ONLY been a MONTH since I ordered. So a month is normal waiting time for this company? The fact remains that they have bribed their customers into giving positive reviews on Trust Pilot and other websites but have not delivered the products they promised. When I spoke to their staff on the phone, they were so, so ill-mannered and rude it was disgusting. They blamed everyone else (including myself and their other customers for placing orders) but themselves. Despite all of this, I tried to be patient with them and wait for weeks for my labels and have received such awful service that I feel it's crucial that other people research this company before buying from them. NEVER BUY FROM DISCOUNT BANNER PRINTING! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

Poor printing, terrible service

I needed some window graphics printed quickly, so i used discount banner printing website. I had to chase the order and when it did finally arrive the graphics were very poorly printed and they were not window graphics, ie. the letters weren't cut out or didn't have a transparent background. I phoned and left a message and sent 2 emails before I got a response. They basically said that's what I ordered and they would not re-print or refund, which wasn';t the case. I wanted further clarification on how they can justify this kind of customer service but they do not answer the phone or reply to my polite emails. I've basically spent over £100 for badly printed text on a white sheet. They obviously have no concept of customer service. Shocking.

Sorry that your item has arrived wrong but it is a case of ordering the wrong item which is why we have a contact number, If you had wanted a transparent background it would have been right to choose clear not gloss.

We cannot reprint or refund items which are printed correctly.

We had replied to your emails but as above the reply was not satisfactory as we would not issue a refund.

We also cannot be held responsible for sending artwork which is not of great quality, has you asked us to sort it out for you under our standard design service we would have been happy to do this for you.

All of this could have been avoided if you had used the contact number which is clear on every page.

But when they were bad they were horrid...!

When reading the reviews below please remember that many of them will be paid reviews, as on Facebook DiscountBannerPrinting are offering £30 worth of free printing for a positive review.

I used DiscountBannerPrinting early this year and found the quality of their work to be good. They offered me £60 worth of free printing if I reviewed them on my website, and I was happy to do so.

I then made on order using the £60 worth of credit they had promised me. That was on 19th April. I am still waiting. I chased the order and was ignored until I posted publicly on their Facebook page, they pulled the comment. They then contacted me and made promises to correct the error. But still no printing arrived. They said they had e-mailed me when they had not.

Errors happen, but it is how they are dealt with that demonstrates a companies commitment to customer service.

Great Service

We ordered two banners and both were high quality and they were with us very quickly. Will be using again.

Terrible service, never again

We placed an order for banners online and paid an extra £4.99 for special delivery as we wanted them quickly. 4 days later we had no banners, so we tried to contact Discount Banner Printing - calling them we got put through to their answerphone, which was full, so we couldn't leave a message. Emails went unanswered.

8 days after the date of order we emailed them again and asked them to cancel the order and refund our credit card. 7 minutes later (seems they are responsive when there's a chance of losing some business) we got this email from them:

"Why do you require a refund? We have dispatched your banners today so eta will be Friday, we have been extremely busy so it has been delayed a little but I can assure you it will arrive for then and as they have already been printed and sent out we cannot issue you a refund."

No apology, no offer to refund the £4.99 we'd wasted, the idea that taking 10 days to deliver a 1-2 day order as promised on the website is 'delayed a little' - based on our experience we'd say avoid Discount Banner Printing at all costs.

Addendum: The company has now replied to this review. We haven't responded to or accepted their offer of a refund because it was dependent on the removal of this review - no removal, no refund. That isn't customer service, that's bribery.

They disputed this review with TrustPilot, claiming they didn't know which order it referred to, while at the same time emailing us asking for it to be taken down.

And what's this specified 2-3 days plus delivery nonsense? The website states:

"We will ship your product by Royal Mail within 1-2 working days after your order has been placed. 1st class delivery is FREE for orders under £100. For orders over £100, next day special delivery is FREE. If you have an order under £100 and need it in a hurry, Royal Mail special delivery (next working day) is available for £4.99 (FREE on orders over £100)."

So that's 1-2 days plus delivery.

DBP were absolutely silent until we requested a refund, despite repeated emails and the order being 8 days late.

Make up your own mind, there are plenty of alternatives.

Sorry about this but unfortunately some orders do fall out of our standard turnaround (this order had because of the vast amount of orders that had to be processed for the jubilee) which we did email you about, we did receive an email to cancel but this was 2 hours after an email to ask if the order could be delivered for next day hence the section in your post - (assure you it will arrive for then) in the email above which you managed to miss off the email from before the cancelation request.

We did offer you a refund to try and come to an amicable agreement (which shows we are a company that tries to keep our customers happy) as we were happy for you to keep the signs and for you to have a refund (I do not think we can be any fairer).

Unfortunately all of our items are custom made and no matter how perfect we try to
be there is always going to be scope for problems in 1% of orders and all we can try to do is help as much as we can.

Super fast delivery and no problems what so ever, amazing quality stickers aswell, i got told about DBP from a friend and from then have made multiple orders and they have all been absolutely incredible, well deserving five stars!

Great quality and fast turn-around!

Super fast turnaround, banner arrived rolled in a poster tube. The print quality was excellent and remained that way even after being exposed to the cold weather for a number of months. Would highly recommend!

Top quality

I have used Discount Banner Printing a couple of times now an am about to use them again. As a professional designer, it's always a bit scary waiting for your print to arrive, wondering if the quality is up to scratch, but with this company I don't have any concerns. The print quality and turnaround time are fantastic and at a very affordable price. Would recommend anytime.

Amazing quality, perfect price too!

I purchased vinyl stickers on two different occasions from Discount Banner Printing for a small online shop I run, and not only was I really impressed with the quality of the stickers, but everyone I have given them to with orders has been equally impressed! The quality is right up there, and for the money its nothing short of amazing. Helpful customer service too, I'd definitely recommend them to anyone. I also plan to order again when I've run out of my current batches of stickers!

Excellent quality and service.

A friend suggested me Discount Banner printing and I don't regret it. Well, I ordered transparent sticky labels from discountbannerprinting and the service was topnotch: no delays and so reliable. There wasn't any fuss when contacting them and the website is very clear, accessible to use. The lovely gentleman on the phone told me that I could save much more money than other companies, and I did!

cheap and cheerful

Yes, their prices are amongst the cheapest on the web in the UK.

Does the price reflect their customer service levels or quality?

Certainly not. I have had several large (2m x 1m) PVC banners made by this company. Their print quality is excellent, the physical quality of the banners is excellent and they delivered when they said they would. The banners were used outside for several weeks and remained bright and intact.

Honest advice and brilliant prices.

I needed transparent sticky labels to be fixed on aluminium bottles and after some 'googling' I came across Discount Banner Printing'. I saw that on the website you could estimate the costs by entering the details of your requirements (dimensions, quantity etc) and I found this invaluable to enable me to budget costs.
I uploaded my artwork fine but then did receive a telephone call to say that my art work wasn't really suitable for the sticker I had chosen. So everything was put on hold until I redesigned my artwork. As soon as I did this, it didn't take long for my new stickers to come through and I must say I was very pleasantly pleased with the outcome. I really appreciated being told that my original artwork was not suitable - I'm sure many companies would just have gone ahead. In this case, I was advised by someone who knew what they were doing! I'll definitely be using Discount Banner Printing in the future.

Quick, reliable with no fuss.

We ordered some small stickers from discountbannerprinting for our clothing hangers and were happily shocked at the speed, quality, price and the great customer service we received! When it came to reordered (because we give them out to our young customers) 1 quick phone call and they arrived in half the time quoted.

Fast service, great product!

I needed a large 6 metre banner and fast, and had initially agreed a price with another company....until I found Discount Banner Printing which were a whole £30 cheaper! I cancelled the order with the other company and my new banner arrived within a couple of days. I was able to speak on the phone directly to the guy who was printing my banner which helped enormously as I wanted to make sure all the text sizes were correct, etc, as I had a really specific design. The banner is excellent quality and stood up to the legendary bad weather at Glastonbury with no problem at all. I ordered another banner from them shortly afterwards. I'd certainly recommend them to anyone.

Brilliant quality and excellent customer service

The website is very clear and easy to use so when I was ordering my stickers with my name on, it was as simple as uploading the image, selecting what size, what finish and getting an instant online quote. However, what really takes this company from just another online service to a more personal, friendly company was when I called them up stating that when I asked for a quote of 20 stickers, the price given on the website was the same as 40. The lovely gentleman on the phone told me the price was the same for up to 399 stickers and only began to increase at 400! He saved me a ton of cash and the quality of the stickers was fantastic! Once I make 399 cards, I will certainly be on the website again immediately!

Excellent Service!

Fantastic and easy to use!

Discount Banner Printing is a company which other companies should learn from. When you first get onto the website, everything is clean and basic, and navigation is easy. The sticker order tool was a delight to use and I will definitely be purchasing products of theirs soon.

Great price, fast delivery and just what I wanted!

Discount Banner Printing was the cheapest company by far for what I needed! However, this does not in any way reflect cheap quality printing. I ordered some circular gloss stickers to go with a wedding stationery set I was creating. It really did give a great, lasting impression and the clients loved them, as well as myself. They were packaged well and the delivery was fast. I'll certainly be coming to Discount Banner Printing again for all my design & business needs and would recommend them to anyone.

Recieved on Time and Perfect qulaity

Just thought I would review them as have had many great dealings with this company, we have always received our products with plenty of time (mostly orders of £100 +) and the quality is the best I have come across since starting my business 10 + years ago.
I would give this company an A+ on customer service as we have sent incorrect files many times which have been rectified by them.
