Perfect in every way

Ordered a new boiler online on Saturday evening. Received a confirmation call on Monday morning with 2 hour delivery window for Wednesday. Delivery arrived on time and well packaged. A perfect transaction in every way -100% satisfied.

I won't ever buy from them again.

I ordered two radiators. They arrived on time but the grilles on both of them were damaged. I phoned and was told that replacements would be sent but it would take another week. These also arrived damaged. I then discovered that Discount Heating don't actually hold any stock and just sub-contract the order out to the local Plumb Centre. Discounted Heating wouldn't accept that it was their problem (although legally of course it was) and Plumb Centre weren't at all bothered because I wasn't their customer. Yet more grilles arrived damaged after another week and I eventually ended up resolving it myself directly with the manufacturer, Stelrad 7 weeks after I placed my order.

Great service

Trawled online and discountedheating came up the cheapest by far for the particular radiator I wanted. Ordered online and given estimated delivery date, this was followed up with an email that gave an actual delivery date. Product arrived when they said it would. Packaging was substantial enough to protect radiator which is not often the case nowadays. Whole process took only 4 days, excellent service, would definately use again and recommend to others.

Hassle free service

I ordered an electric fire on line. Discounted heating was the cheapest I found for the Dimplex heater.I was emailed a few days later with a delivery date which was kept to, so all together completely hassle free.

Great price, quick delivery

Cheapest I could find. I didn't receive the promised E Mail top advise of delivery so after a couple of days I phoned and was delighted that the phone was promptly answered. The young lady was very polite and apologised that I hadn;'t received the E Mail they had sent and that the water heater would be arrive the following day which it did.

Good price Good Product Bad delivery

I ordered two new electric radiators and received an email the next day informing me of my delivering date. As it was the next day this was a little short notice but was easily changed to the day after. I took the day off of work and waited in for my delivery that never came. The staff at DH were polite and helpful but as they did not organise delivery themselves they were not in contact with the courier and had to go through their supplier. As DH are not open Saturday and the courier did not answer the phone I had to wait until Monday until I could find out what was happening with my delivery. The courier deivered the item that day to my neighbour - not at my request. Although DH did refund me my delivery charge although this did not compensate me for the unpaid leave I took from work. Perhaps better communication between suppliers and couriers would improve the situation.

They live up to their name, but it's not just heating

I wanted a shower screen, but was getting thoroughly confused between the different makes, what the dimensions meant and whether the one I liked the look of would fit. I emailed Discountedheating and got a reply within a couple of hours that cleared it all up for me. And the nicest thing about it was that theirs was the best price I could find for the unit anywhere!
After placing the order, I got an email acknowledgement, then a couple of days later they emailed again to tell me exactly when to expect delivery. It turned up on time, too. It had evidently been shipped direct from the manufacturer rather than via Plymouth, which makes sense.
I'd use this company again.

Very competitive prices and excellent delivery

I ordered a Rangemaster cooker and hood about 4 weeks before I actually needed it and put my required delivery date on the order. Cooker was delivered right on time on the scheduled date. Delivery driver couldn't have been more helpful, telephoning me 20 minutes before he arrived to say he was on his way. Prices are very competitive and I couldn't find my items cheaper anywhere else. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

You wont get a better value for your cash

Just bought a new house and boiler conked out within a few weeks of moving in. Did an extensive research online, catalogues etc and Discountedheating is miles above everyone else! What amazed me was the service/delivery! Boiler arrived intact as promised! Would recommend to anyone and will use them in future.

Great Item. Disappointing Delivery.

The shower is great and at a really good price but rather disappointed with the delivery. Ordered Saturday, supposed to be delivered Thursday. I waited in all day only to be told it hadn't been put on the van for delivery but would be with me first drop 8.30am in the morning. 9am I get a call to ask where I was and was told will be with you in just over an hour. Not good when I had to go out and again had to wait in to sign for (no close neighbours). Not sure why I had to wait so long for it when it was as it turned out only coming from a few miles away from me.

A quick refund.

I was informed quickly that the item I had ordered was out of stock and that the arrival of new stock could not be predicted. I cancelled the order and asked for a refund, which was given quickly.

The website for online sales was very detailed but very simple to navigate. The price was very competitive. Goods arrived 'almost' on time in perfect condition.All in all a good purchasing experience.

Good value for money, excellent service

When searching for shower trays and doors I came a cross discount heating...prices were reasonable and they gave me a good delivery time for a decent charge. Products arrived within time slot on allocated day and I am very pleased with the quality of the products.

Every time I selected a particular item it was out of stock with a long delivery and after 16 days i finally get my order confirmed to be told a day later it would not come on the day quoted it would be at least 5 days later

Hopeless

Twice had to have tome off work to wait for a delivery that did not arrive.
Beginning to wonder if this is just a scam!

Price was good but no communication and customer service

Waited 10 workings days for delivery (not 3 to 5 days as adverised), had to call them and was given a deliver date on the phone, no email to inform you when the goods was despatched so never sure if the goods will be deliveried as promised, only communication was the automated order confirmation.
Price was good, customer service was poor.
Only buy from them if can afford to wait and don't mind chasing

Good all round service

Even though they were not able to fulfill the entire order, what they did manage was keenly priced and promptly delivered. The remainder was efficiently and quickly cancelled and refunded. They were very honest about delivery delays and communicated well through email and were always polite and well informed on the telephone. The website is well set out and easy to navigate and to place orders.

Took too long for delivery, 10 days, should have been 2-5 days. Had to ring up twice to find out where delivery was. Told they were waiting on stock, delivery driver told me they came in a week ago. Notification e-mail was sent to junkmail box, so could have missed delivery. Will not be using this site again.

Good price, but allow extra time for delivery

Price & service were good, but delivery took a bit longer than expected. In future I'll know to allow a few extra days for delivery.

Still waiting...

Ordered on Wednesday, received an e-mail confirming delivery would be Monday. Monday came and went, I called on Tuesday, now it's Wednesday and still no sign of my delivery...

The goods arrived on time - although a more specific time for the delivery would have been useful.Having s delivery time of anything between 08.00 and 16.00 hrs is not akin to having a proper time for delivery. Although when I did phone up the staff were extremely helpful

Fantastic Service - Great Value

I found the company online and wished to replace two Heatrae Sadia handy washers. They undercut every other company on price, and when I called to order the product, the staff were attentive and helpful and completed the transaction over the phone. I received emails informing me of dispatch and the estimated arrival day. The products arrived in pristine condition and are now fitted and working well.

All in all, a five star service.

Cylinder delivered was complete opposite to what was ordered

We received a indirect vented cylinder when we ordered a Direct unvented cylinder. We was advised that nothing could be done until two working days later. This caused us major problems with our client and resulted in us having to return the incorrect cylinder ourselves and picking up the correct one.

Great prices and friendly service

Not a bad experience but deliveries where a little hit and miss as they source items from various suppliers and don't actually stock them at a warehouse. The overall experience was good though considering how much cheaper they were on items.

slow delivery

I have ordered the radiators a week a ago. Only one of them will be ready next week, no news on other 6. No one tell me how long I have to wait, I think it is not a good service for a big company.
