After an initial web search to compare prices, I contacted Dolphin Music and straightaway spoke to someone with the right information. During the conversation, it emerged that some mic cables I needed were supplied by two different companies at significantly differing prices, despite being identical. Needless to say, I was sold the less expensive brand. I was impressed by Stewart's knowledge of the product range and his understanding of our requirements.
After placing the order, I was given detailed tracking information and everything arrived the following day, at the time given. All was present and correct.
The service was excellent and I would definitely use Dolphin Music again.
Made a multi-order last night and rather than wait for some items to be back in stock, Dolphin helpfully provided an alternative (more expensive) item to me today to allow the delivery to be made on time. Now thats what I call AAA+++ customer service.
A friend recommend Dolphin Music to me a year or so ago so they were my first choice for my purchase of a Podcast microphone and stand. Stewart was hugely helpful and helped me narrow down my choices and select the best option for the Hypnosis and Coaching mp3's that I wanted to create.
The goods were ordered on a Friday afternoon, and bang on the appointed time (9.30am on the Saturday morning), the items were delivered. I don't think I've ever encountered such an efficient courier service (they text with a 1-hour window in which they will arrive).

Steve helped me out, got all the information I needed and then helped me place the order over the phone. He also help set up the finance, which took about 10 minutes to get done, and then phoned back to confirm all was well with the order.

Great service and impressed with the help I got. These guys know what they are doing, have recommended them to friends and I will use them again.
(They also use DPD as a courier instead of the evil that is Y***l., so you can track you order easily)
After a few issues with billing address, the excellent customer services team managed to help very promptly in resolving the issue and allowing me to make my purchase, they also kept me up to date at every stage of my order to allow for a very smooth transaction.
Good product price, and super fast delivery altogether resulted very happy shopping experience.

I've been toying with the idea of buying some pro-quality kit for a while for the convenience and portability it would bring (even though my gigging days are well behind me). I settled on the Nord C2D, pedalkeys 27, stands and so. Dolphin were competitive on price and Stewart Bradley ensured that I was kept informed on lead times, delivery dates and so on. Stewart should also be congratulated for talking me out of my chosen keyboard amp for a pair of more convenient and sweeter sounding monitors which are excellent for home-use and even stand up to coupled pipe organ bass stops without distortion.
I love my new home set-up and am actually practicing more regularly than I have done in years - who knows future gigs might well happen.
In the meantime I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this kit or Dolphin Music and Stewart B to anyone

Being uncertain about the correct product for me I pestered Stewart Bradley to death with a variety of questions and queries which he patiently dealt with and responded to promptly and efficiently, As a result I have now purchased exactly what I needed and am delighted with the products received.

I would recommend Dolphin Music Company to anybody out there. The staff are very helpful, friendly and full of good advice in what to purchase for what you need. I spoke with both Steve Atherton and Matt, very helpful guys. I was having terrible problems with high end frequencies being picked up by my Microphone, and due to my set up and finances, I was told about the V3 pre amp vocal box, which I could use with my set up and was at a very cheap affordable price, unlike buying a new Microphone which would have cost a lot more money and wouldn't have been much use anyway as they all tend to pick up to 20k HZ, so would have encountered the same problems if I'd got a new Microphone. I purchased the V3 Mic pre amp, and I have never been happier with the production of my vocals now. They are absolutely fantastic compared, I cannot believe the difference that the V3 has made, it is really dramatic. If you want any Musical equipment then I highly recommend that you purchase from Dolphin Music, because they are great price wise, and the staff are second to none there in helping you out and friendly. I personally wouldn't purchase my Musical equipment elsewhere now as I am more than happy with the service and equipment range at Dolphin Music. I give a 5/5, which is rare for me to do, because usually there's always something somewhere with companies etc, but not with Dolphin Music, they get a five star rating from me. I have never used Dolphin Music until I purchased a Yamaha LL6 acoustic guitar from them in June 2013. They were quick in getting back to me to update me on delivery and provided a 1 hour delivery timeslot (unheard of with most retailers) which was really useful. The guitar arrived swiftly and in immaculate condition. The guitar is excellent and more than lived up to my expectations. They were a pleasure to deal with and I'd use them again & recommend others do.
Initially I had a few problems with the website, for some reason it thought that Cornwall was not in mainland UK! Normally I would have given up and tried a different supplier, but I really glad I took the time to contact Dolphin Music. I spoke to James Gladstone, who was extremely helpful - he sorted out the problems that I had online and processed my order very quickly. The prices are competitive and delivery fast - can't ask for much more. If they can sort out the problems with their website then I would give them 5 stars!
I've got a long history with dolphin and haven't used them for a while (kids blah blah) but I'm just embarking on a little project which I needed some stuff for. easy to use website, a person who knows their stuff inside out at the end of the phone if you're not sure which mic you need for what, and best of all I've just had next day delivery on an item i ordered at nearly 16:00 the day before. I spoke to Stephen Atherton and another employee who were both extremely helpful. They matched another online price I had found with no issues, and also threw in an extra drum key for free with my pedals. Stephen was also very polite and friendly over the phone, and with only 20 minutes until their couriers come for pickup he's going to try his best to get my order ready in time for next day delivery!
Can't stress enough how good the service was not to mention their already competitive prices. Would recommend to anyone.

I always get excellent service from the folks at Dolphin Music. Their excellent next day delivery service with text messages telling you the time of delivery within one hour is brilliant, much better than other retailers who bang on about their next day service but it doesn't arrive until 4pm.
Do be aware however that Trustpilot side with companies and will do everything they can to get unfavourable reviews deleted.
All credits to David & Simon who fixed me the best deal, helped me to choose among the gear and made me feel trust in them, the company and their professionalism.

I ordered the mininova synth and a two tier keyboard stand from Dolphin. Arrives one and a half days later. Packaged very well indeed, nice bits of kit. I have to say super fast service!
Also previously i had purchased a Roland Gaia synth off them. All was fine with it until i found the usb port wad faulty. They sent a courrier two days later to collect it, and within two weeks it was returned, repaired and fully functional.canot fault the speed of this company and their customer service. Will be back again and again
I expected a receive a nice shiny Fender Telecaster, my DAD signed for the parcel not knowing I ordered a guitar, upon looking inside there was no guitar but a electric drum kit... I gathered my order reference details and found the Dolphin Music telephone number only to find that they are not open on a Saturday. I order items from various online vendors weekly and this has never happened before. Needless to say I will not be buying from Dolphin Music again.
I made an email enquiry about a guitar that wasn't in stock anywhere- within a couple of hours the helpful and polite Simon Capper from Dolphin Music replied, stating that he had contacted the manufacturer who confirmed they had it in stock. I ordered it and was told it would take 7-10 days and I received it a week later. I'm very pleased with the guitar and also with the service..I would recommend the company to others and would certainly use them again.

So making an important decision if I get either A or B even C, interface that is suited to my needs is very critical to having made the right choice.
Also the prompt service by courier, delivery by the next day, makes my life a lot easier.
So often I have been told by other companies 5 - 7 days for delivery.
I only give credit when credit is due, so yes I do recommend Dolphin Music.
I think the mark of a company is how they care for their customers when something goes wrong, and I've had a superb experience with Dolphin Music. After a faulty unit was causing issues, I was guided through the returns and repair process professionally and with great responsiveness. Any questions, I got a prompt response and they really bent over backwards to ensure I was kept informed and felt happy. Couldn't fault them - a great experience.

The thing I like about Dolphin is that they take the trouble to get back to you even if it doesn't end up with them selling you something. I’ve left email with loads of their competitors asking for information about gear, or whether they’ll honour their statement that they’ll “price match” an item, only to wait for days with no response.
Recently I asked about an Ashdown cab which Simon Capper did his best to sort out for me but I ended up not buying because I changed my mind. I did however buy a Yamaha Mox 8 and a range of pedals from Dolphin with excellent help from Stewart Bradley who went out of his way to get me the best deal.
My experience in both examples was that the guys really wanted to help me out, not something you experience every day. Well done Dolphin.
What a breath of fresh air it is to be given a 1 hour delivery window the day after making an online order, along with clear and specific email and text updates throughout. I've tried many other online services - both musical and not - and none come close to this level of customer service. Highly recommended.
Ibanez GVB36 bass took more than 10 days to arrive...Before I completed the order online I phoned in and I was told 5 days...After almost a week I wrote an email,got a reply in which they apologised(Mr. Simon Capper)and from that moment on they 'd kept me well informed about my order's status.Item was delivered in a very organised manner in a one hour time frame.I recommend Dolphin music and would buy again despite the wait as I still managed to save more than £100 on the best bass I ever had.Thank you!
Placed order Tuesday evening around midnight, and have the item within 36hrs. There was a sligh problem with my billing address, but David Wood managed to sort it without any fuss at all. Just a couple of simple emails, and not the jargon you get from other companies when there are issues. Couldnt of been easier, cheers!!!
It has ruined my joy of ordering my very first guitar. My suggestion is stay clear from them, it is NOT WORTH IT. Dolphin music is not a serious, organised company in any way. I was mislead by some of the reviews on TrustPilot, but it's not anyone's fault. If I were myself 2 weeks ago, I would've gone straight to gear4music.com.
When I ordered my guitar from Dolphin Music, it happened to be a Thursday (14 Mar). I waited, hopeful, because the website clearly specified "Free Next Day Delivery". Nothing happens. Instead, on Monday, I get an e-mail, from Mr. Simon Capper, telling me that I need to prove them that I am myself using a passport of bank statement. I did like I was told, and on Tuesday I received the confirmation e-mail, and all my documents were alright. Two hours later, I get another e-mail, telling me that my guitar isn't in stock. It was saying that dolphinmusic are going to receive the guitar on the 1st of april. I thought, I looked on DV247 for the same guitar, just like a reviewer said, but I couldn't find it. In the end, I agreed to wait. However, the next day, Wednesda, I found out a website called gear4music.com, I went there, I found my guitar, I e-mailed them and checked the guitar is in stock, and decided that I want to go for people who I trust. I asked the dear Simon in question for a refund, as I have found a more capable company. He told me that everything is alright, he cancelled my order and promised a full refund in 2 to 4 hours. Well, he probably thought it was going to happen, but it didn't. Instead, another mail. Yes, from dolphin music. They told me it was going to take up to 3 days for the money to reach my account. It is now the end of the working shift on Thursday, the 21st of March. I wrote numerous complains during the day, as well as yesterday. No one would listen. It felt like talking to a wall.
DO NOT, EVER, BUY A GUITAR FROM DOLPHIN MUSIC. IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER CHOICE, USE IT. IT HAS SUCKED ALL THE JOY OUT OF A MOMENT THAT WAS MEANT TO BE EMOTIONAL AND UNFORGETTABLE. WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T.

The guitar I ordered was not in stock, when they contacted the manufacturer it turned out to be discontinued, they offered me a different better guitar at a discount and it came two days later.
They were friendly and easy to talk to on the phone, and gave good advice on the selection of guitars.
It came nearly perfectly tuned and ready to play out the box and has been doing well this last week of earnest strumming.
I advise ringing up and checking stock before you order if it advises you to on the page, I was in no rush so that was not a problem for me.
Certainly will consider using them again in future, I was recommended to them by my dad who has been a customer for some time.
They sell item that they do not have in stock. There is absolutely no information about that. They take your money upfront for something they not going to deliver any time soon. After 29 days of waiting and being deceived about new delivery terms they stopped responding to my emails. I have no money and no equipment I ordered.
Keep clear from them, buy from Germany.

I ordered a Gibson Les Paul guitar for my Husband's 40th. Simon at Dolphin, helped me with my choices and was very patient when I couldn't decide! Once decision was made the guitar was delivered next day as promised. Would recommend.
I have been using Dolphin music to buy various bits of studio kit over the past 4 years and have had nothing but great service. Everything has arrived as advertised and on time. They keep you up to date with your order status. An A+ experience all round.
