iPhone app is confusing but works!

I used to be a loyal Perfect Pizza customer, but they soon turned to sh!t. The opening of a local Domino's restaurant came to my rescue! Slightly overpriced (I usually use the £9.99 collection deal) but I cannot fault the Large Meateor - Same pizza, same great quality every time. Been using the iPhone app since I got my new phone and although it's a bit confusing when it prompts you to '+ add to order' as you're not sure if that means add extras to what you've already chosen... Turns out not - that's just what you have to do to get it to appear in your basket - I still love it! You can stay updated via the app on the progress of your order from start to finish so you can time the collection perfectly! Nice one Castle Brom! :)

No quarrels.

Get what I want and usually in good time. Only minor issue is it's quite pricey.

Hair with your combo, anyone?

Ordered a deal, got a pizza and combo, I told the man on the phone Im paying by card, the delivery guy didn't bring the machine, had to stand there with driver and call the shop to pay by phone, the machine in the shop wasnt working. Agreed to a callback later to pay, took food in, halfway through combo I spot a short dark hair stuck to some food. Felt sick. Phoned and complained. The guy didnt seem helpful and eventually offered to replace the combo. I don't actually want their food anymore but that was all he was willing to do. So I'm waiting for that to arrive and ill give the driver their hairy food back. Will NOT be ordering from the palmers green north London branch again.

BAD SERVICE WOULD NOT RETURN EVERYTIME WE ORDER THEY ALWAYS MISS ITEMS FROM THE ORDER

EVERYTIME WE ORDER SOMETHING ALWAYS BAD HAPPENS THEY ALWAYS MISS ITEMS OFF THE ORDER YOU PHONE THEM BACK THEY BRING THE OTHER ITEMS 45 MINUTES LATER WHEN CLEARLY THE FOOD HAS BEEN EAT.
THIS HAS HAPPENED TO MANY TIMES WHY PAY FOR FOOD THAT YOU DONT ACTUALLY GET WE NOW GO TO PIZZA HUT AND HAVE NOT LOOKED BACK SINCE.

Mmmmmmmm

Was at work and my daughter wanted a dominos pizza. I wasn't keen because by the time I got home then ordered it would be 9ish before I got my pizza. However, I went online and discovered that I could pay via PayPal! I was delighted! It meant I could order the pizza before leaving work and not have to worry about being home in time to pay for it!

The pizza itself was delicious. I got one of the special offers which made it worthwhile, but if it wasn't for that then I wouldn't have paid the prices.

Brilliant pizza and a fast delivery

I ordered a pizza from Domino's and they said it would arrive in at least 20 minutes-- it actually arrived in 12! On top of the insanely fast delivery time, the pizza tasted great and with the deal I picked managed to feed my family for a good price.

great service and great staff

We had placed a big order today for work colleagues and I must say we was very impressed with the service and customer care we received. Everything ordered was correct - no issues. I placed the order with a lovely guy called Gary at the Bolton Central shop - a big thank you to him to ensuring we got everything in the order - we will definitely be returning soon :)

Great service and pizza - Leyton(London) Branch

We were skeptical about trying Dominos as we always have been using Pizza Hut , but since Dominos were running a special offer we decided to try them by making an online purchase .

The process of using their online payment system was very easy to use and the ordering process was really easy . We received our pizza within half an hour and it was the best pizza we have had for a long time . We had a New Yorker & an Extravaganza large pizza .

The only mishap of the night is that they brought us a normal coke instead of a diet coke as we had ordered .

With so many outlets I can believe that some are better than others and hope that every one of them can follow the example of service we have received from the Leyton branch .

More than made up for their mistakes last time - very impressed with Garry and the team and Bolton Central!!

After a less than satisfactory service the last time we ordered, the Bolton Central store surpassed themselves with our most recent order and I would struggle to find fault with even the smallest aspect. After being provided with a large discount as an apology, we also received further money off and some free items were thrown in for good measure. They updated us by phone as to how the order was progressing and could not have done more us. Thank you Garry and the team, you have truly regained my trust and I shall continue to sing your praises to everyone I know! Well done guys!!!

SHOCKING WAITED 2+ HOURS TO GET A PIZZA

CRAP CRAP CRAP !!! WAITED ALMOST 3 HOURS FOR A PIZZA FROM THE BOLTON Dominos. SORT IT OUT !!!!

Great pizza, overpriced though.

Very nice pizza, can't really find better that deliver to my house. Large Meteor cannot be beaten, Very fast delivery service (Sometimes takes only 20 minutes after order being placed).

Big problem is, without a 50% code the pizza's are a ridiculos price. Even with a 50% off they are verging on expensive, so i only order on tuesdays or when a 50% off code is available.

Overpriced and cold

Ordered two pizzas last night, 40 minutes late, little cheese. Thank god for the microwave. Overpriced, asdas buy your own much tastier. Won't be buying dominos again

Horrible Pizzas!!! As Dry As The Sahara!!!

I had a Delivery From Domino's Pizza Tonight And Thought The Price Was Awful And The Menu Very Confusing.It Definitely Lacked Tomato Sauce And I thought It Was Dry!!! And I have Had Better Pizza From A Frozen Aisle In Iceland However The Delivery Time Was Very Quick. Also After the Digestion process I am Starting to have Bowel Issues!!!

Awful! Such a confusing menu system!

The employees are very rude and miserable. I was pretty much conned as they overcharged me when I got to the shop. On top of that, the pizza tasted awful, the pizzas that you get from Iceland for £2 were nicer! Next time I want a take away pizza, I will be ordering off Just Eat as they are nicer and better value.

Brilliant! Best Pizza company around

I've been a customer of Dominos for many years and I've always found them to be exceptional. My local store (Bordon, Hampshire) are always courteous and keen to ensure I receive the best deals at the time. Delivery is pretty good (sometimes a little later than I'd like). Even went out of their way to give my daughter a balloon when we placed an order in shop last year.

Couldn't be bothered to deliver....

Well first of all they couldn't understand anything on the phone, background noise apparently, then also short of drivers so would only take my order if i collect.... people who have small children in the house can't collect at 7pm, sort it out Dominos!!!

Spam texts are getting really annoying

Dominos... I have asked for you to remove my mobile phone number from your spam list several times, yet I still keep receiving texts. I get texts from Dominos stores that are 100 miles from where I live. Which is odd, because they are places I've visited but have never ordered pizza. One of the stores that texts me is in a city which I have driven past but have never visited or been within 50 miles of. Where are you getting your information from Dominos? I'm getting suspicious.

Too Dear but Great Pizzas

Unless you buy with one of their deals it's not worthwhile, way too expensive! Although you can't fault the taste.

Slight problem but resolved in no time

Ordered two pizzas on the Two for One Tuesday and it took over an hour to arrive and was cold etc. Spoke with Jess at the Bolton Derby Street Store and after words with James had the matter resolved. Then organised two free Pizzas on the Saturday and Stephanie had them delivered at bang on 8.30pm for X Factor. Thanks for the brilliant serice guys!

Dominos Great Pizza

Always get a Dominos Pizza, I usually find new products and great online deals are always available. Possibly the best Takeaway Pizza in town.

Average pizzas, abysmal service, big question marks on hygeine

Ordered 2 pizzas from them - on a bogof deal. 2 for £15.98.

Sounds great.

Until you go to the store, and have to face a teenager with a face like thunder. Looking at you the same way he probably looks at his parents when he's bad mouthing them.

Very unfriendly service, but when I made the cardinal sin of asking for 4 dips it really went down the drain.

They made me wait 10 minutes (because they had a problem with the till) It was 4 for £1, but I didn't have the exact money, so they needed to get the till open.

You would think at this stage sense would kick in, and they would just give them to you maybe (bearing in mind waiting 10 minutes while your pizzas are going cold)

I just said they could have the £1.10 I had on me (I had popped out quickly just to pick the online-paid pizzas up and didn't have any more cash) and we could call it quits for a couple of extra dips on top.

So 40p for 10 minutes of my time. Sounds reasonable.

Except to them. They said they 'couldn't do it'.

Translated as won't do it/'can't be bothered/don't care.

Thoroughly frustrated by now, the dips were just directed back at them....

The 'manager' (E.Hoy) responsible for customer concern was no better. Very argumentative over the phone, and unable to work out that the cost to Dominos of 4 pizzas would be less than a refund of the money I paid)

For my inconvenience & frustration, I was offered 2 pizzas and 2 sides (about £8 total cost price to make for Dominos)

Or my £15.98 back.

I chose the latter.

All this was on top of the fact I had seen staff at the same branch using a spatular to pick a pizza pan off the floor.

Then use the same spatular to get a pizza out of the oven!

I did wonder if they did that when visited by the Council, who gave them a 5 star hygeine rating....

Ms Hoy, rather than being concerned/shocked/horrified when I told her this merely advised me that I 'wouldn't be able to prove it' as the recordings were wiped after a month.

Good attitude and wonderful service then.

I'm not just saying this, but pizzas you can get in the supermarket (their own brands) seem to have come on a lot. I've had ones from M&S and Asda, and they have been as good as anything from Dominos. And we are talking £2 pizzas.

I've seen the future. Won't be setting foot in Dominos again.

Decent pizza

Pizza is great, that's not my complaint.
the complaint is the service i get.

When i order online my pizza usually takes 20-30 minutes to arrive, that's nothing and that is great,
but once the driver comes here he never closes the game, he drops rubbish in my front garden as well!

room for improvement, as well as including red pepper in the menu as well as more expensive ham, so that 60% of my ham isn't fat jelly

The best for takeaway pizza

I don't go to Domino's as often as I would like, but when I do go I love it! The Texan BBQ is just a league apart from any other pizza out there.

I used to get the pizza's delivered, then one day I actually stopped in the shop and was amazed to see, well, everything. Over the counter you can see them making all the pizza's from fresh! This is what I think makes them the winning pizza's they are!

Keep up the great work Domino's!

Overpriced

15 quid for a pizza. Are you having a laugh. Not even that good.

Substandard

As a frequent customer you would think they would eradicate the on going issues to the customer. Im not going to tell you everything is great as its not. The only thing what draws me to dominos is the on going offers and the idea that if your pizzas are not right you can phone them up with out a great deal of hassle unlike the other competitors. I've had pizzas take nearly two hours before as well as under cooked and over cooked pizza's. And how is it that I seem to get bashed up wedges and chicken strips, it's obviously had a beating before getting delivered. Keep it up dominos as this is the way to keep customers!. NOT!.

Pricey, But consistent quality

When away from home, business or pressing social gathering, hunting down a take out and then experiment with food is a fools folly. Dominos online is a safe option that wont lead to food poisoning. Delivery estimates are usually exaggerated so as to lower expectations, loyalty is rewarded and they allow you to personalise the products for yourself, sound company and efficient website.

Some IT improvements required - Perfect Pizza otherwise!

My subject inadvertently refers to another Pizza supplier - however this review is 100% about Dominos.....

I enjoy Dominos over some of the other Pizza delivery companies. Their website is easy to navigate and says it offers the option to name a create your own pizza so you can come back and order it again in the future without having to remember the toppings. I've never been able to successfully get this to work. Also the website never stores my details properly, I'm always having to update one of the contact fields for it to accept my e-mail address. This needs to be fixed.

The Pizzas from Dominos are second to none (in my view) one thing they don't need to change - in fact I urge you not to change a thing!!! Just need to get your IT sorted then I'll be a 5* happy bunny.

Good website for ordering and a nice app for the iphone too which keeps you up to date with your delivery slot.

Also an option to select what time you would like the pizza delivered so you can plan ahead.

Absolutely atrocious.

I used dominos online a few months ago, it was an awful experience, It took my order and my money.... I waited and no delivery, I phoned the local store to see what was happening, I quote "we haven't received your order, you will have to phone customer services. Anyway to cut a long story short nearly 4 hours later I managed to get a refund.
But needless to say their customer relations is appalling. The in-store manager was clueless and rude and their customer services team was un helpful and arrogant.
I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.....

Had a dominos the other day and there deals are very affordable and there food is lovely

Great Food but way over-priced

I don't use them often as they are way over priced in my opinion. Having said that the food is always perfect and very very tasty and the service is quick

Its a shame about the prices though
