Very helpful telephone advice and very prompt service - order arrived next day.
I haven't installed the down-lighters yet, but by all accounts the Aurora units are very good and do seem to be of good quality. I found the guy on the phone very helpful, being completely ignorant of LED technology I took his recommendation on what to buy. My electrician is about to install the units, so I'll find out in due course how they work etc. but so far so good. Delivery was amazingly quick - next day, so no complaints there. The Aurora units are not the cheapest but they do look pretty good in the brushed satin nickel finish. As far as I can tell the price was very competitive too. So far I'd have no hesitation in recommending Downlights Direct.

The technical advice was clear and quick, as was the free delivery. One item was incorrectly supplied and the problem was solved with a brief phonecall. A replacement item arrived the next day and we were not even required to return the incorrect item!

Brilliant really
There was a shipping error with my order, normally this would have knocked down the rating. I had ordered 2 switches and only got 1 last week.
I contacted by telephone, and the service i got was brilliant, very polite and apologetic, I was promised the second switch on Tuesday, fair do, was a bank hol Monday after all. Sure enough the second switch arrived. As I say i would normally have marked down the rating for the error in the first place, but in this case it shows that the company is as interested in its after sales service as it is in selling you the product. Really are a friendly company to deal with and I for one would have no reservations about recommending down lights direct to any friend or family member.

Really pleased with the lights and bulbs - the bulbs were out if stock initially but they were happy to ship them separately so at least Icould install the light units. The bulbs are much nicer than cheaper 'warm white' led's I've had before - very similar to halogens. Good value, good quality and helpful service.

Great Product - easy purchasing experience
Fully recommended - we were out when the courier delivered which did cause a few issues but that was us not Downlights Direct! I wish I could send a photo of the cabinet - it looks great.

Very good products and speedy support
I ordered 30 fire-rated adjustable downlights and 30 Philps LED bulbs to replace the existing lights across my whole flat.
Before placing the order I had a few questions, which were quickly answered by one of the support team.
I went for a normal delivery, rather than the next day delivery, and they actually arrived only after 2 days!
Now that the electrician finished the job, have to say that adjusting the fittings is a bit fiddly as tilting the ring doesn't really tilt the bulb inside, but I'm so glad I went for Philips bulbs instead of cheaper ones as the light they produce is just beautiful, powerful and warm and adds a nice touch to every room.
Definitely recommended!

Helpful and good value
We bought some LED downlights which were significantly cheaper than I'd seen them elsewhere. I asked whether they needed a transformer and got a quick reply.

Helpful, knowledgeable and good quality
I ordered some LED strips to install under some kitchen wall units. First order was a couple of meters of Warm White and Cool White just so I could decide which colour to go for. Warm White won! Cool white lloked too clinical or industrial for a domestic kitchen. So...next order was several meters of Warm White strip.
I also ordered a "Professional" Power Supply for the strips. Unfortunately the power supply was faulty, but this was sorted out very promptly and sensibly by Downlights Direct.
Another issue was the courier company Downlights Direct use. The courier company had a rogue driver who said he delivered parcels but kept them for his own use. I wouldn't use InterlinkExpress again locally (Edinburgh) though...Again, Downlights Direct sent me out a replacement package with no fuss. Excellent excellent service.Thanks.

Next day delivery however 3 working days later
I paid for a next day delivery service however the courier firm used delivered on the third working day. At my request Downlights Direct did agreed to credit the extra fee charged for the next day service that didn't eventuate.

Great value and range
My plumber put me onto Downlights Direct - he'd discovered they sold LED downlights for "wet" areas at half the price he had been paying locally. I ordered some, they arrived quickly and are great. I've since ordered a number of other products which seem very competitively priced too.

Quality lights , good service - recommended
Bought some H2 downlights and conversion plates for IP65 bathroom use from these guys. The lights are very well engineered, look and feel like a quality product. Delivery was quick and and well informed by email at each step. Will definitely use this company again in the future

Helpful with good customer service
Before buying my Halers LED lights, I asked some questions about the manufacturers of the different lights on offer, and I got a prompt, clear response. Then after purchasing, one of the lights unexpectedly malfunctioned (out of a large quantity purchased) and they exchanged it with no hassle at all. I always felt I was dealing with knowledgeable staff and not just an anonymous internet warehouse distributor.
