what a difficult experience!

After the first failed delivery attempt, I left out the permission slip for the parcel to be left in porch. On second attempt the driver left a note saying it was a collection not a delivery (I was waiting for Samsung to collect a broken laptop but neither Samsung or dpd had told me that this was the collection - probably Samsung's problem to be fair).

So, I went online to rearrange the collection but dpd will only do that from a postcode on my road - madness, I needed it to be from my work address. So I paid £12 for a Saturday morning collection (annoying, it's a one month old laptop and Samsung were supposed to pay for the carriage!) and WAITED IN all this morning 9-1. It was guaranteed to be picked up before 1. However it is past one o'clock now, no collection has happened - but guess what? Just phoned dpd customer services and the lines close at 1. Lol! How ridiculous. Kids are going mad, need to get out and do the shopping but is the driver going to turn up or not?

So dpd - I definitely want a refund. Payment ref 1-1354220508220-10-14339585.

And are you going to give me my precious Saturday morning back?

    First things first, I see the parcel is out for delivery today between 12:02 and 13:02.
