The most terrible delivery service I've ever meet

On 02 Sep 2013 I was out for work and arranged the delivery to my neighbour who lives in 872 North Row MK9 3NS next to me. On that day the DPD guy gave me a calling card on 854 North Row which is my address, he didn't even take a look at the change I made for the delivery to neighbour.
Later on that day I arranged a re-delivery to my home address on 04 Sep. Today I arranged my time to stay at home exactly as the DPD confirm email says and waiting for the parcel, nothing came.
And now I received the message: 'Your parcel could not be delivered as your DPD driver could not find your address'.
My question is, why could you find my address on the first day, which is not the address requested for delivery, and why couldn't you find my address today, which is the requested delivery address????
