Used 24-hour delivery service, said it would be arriving between 16:46 and 17:46 I took the day off work as it's an important and expensive package. I have been in all day and at 17:16 it says on the tracker that no one was in and had left a calling card, there was no calling card left here. I then called DPD customer services, I asked what had happened and if the driver could return the package as he was only ten minutes away from my house, the guy at customer services had called the driver and the driver left it at a next door neighbors house for some unknown reason, customer services guy then said we can deliver for tomorrow, I asked can I have it in the AM so I don't have the whole day off work again and he said no.
UPDATE: Called the customer services a second time and a different guy answered and gave me an upgrade on the 24-hour service to a AM service, he also took my mobile number so the driver can call if there are any problems.
UPDATE: He didn't actually upgrade me to the next day delivery AM, at least that's what it's saying on my tracker. So much hassle.
