Ok, so I wrote a scathing review of DPD when they failed to deliver my parcel on thime. To be fair to them they responded very well to this post I left on this board.

Bobby, you are a credit to your company.

Apparently a "logistical error" caused DPD to be holding my parcel at the depot, which was a great comfort for me. Due to my forum rage, DPD paid for another company to collect my parcel and have it sent to me later that evening.

That was some good service, but the time wasting before is still irksome. If I hadn't have bothered to vent my spleen online, then my day would've been wasted sitting on my backside jumping up at each sound of a vehicle.

For the benefit of others, I have left my original review below this edit.


"Next day delivery" is DPD's definition of, "Screw it, the day after that will do".

Bobby, you'd better have decent message for me explaining why you like to hold our packages at depots for the luls.

"Aww, sorry, I understand your frustrations but we didn't receive the parcel until 9.30am this morning."

Then just send the poxy thing to me! Stick it in a van and bring it to my house, how hard is it? Isn't that the purpose of this company, to deliver on time?

I'd be surprised if you could wipe your own backside.
