Bought a small electrical appliance on line from Currys. Was amazed when I got a text saying my product was going to be delivered 3 days after I ordered it. Imagine my surprise when I got a text saying that my appliance had been delivered to a neighbour at No 5 (I live at No 15 - hardly a neighbour) when my husband was a home all the time. Sent my husband to number 5 to collect said appliance - not there. Was unable to contact DPD via their website as I was at work and there was no phone number available. Contacted Currys who rang on my behalf. They found out that by appliance had been delivered to a totally different address in a completely different town. So to recap - appliance delivered in the time frame specified - but to a wrong address in the wrong town. Next time I order on line from Currys I will collect in store - much safer but more inconvenient.
