Was expecting a parcel and when I discovered that it had been sent with DPD I was unhappy as not had the best dealings with them in the past. So when I got the text message at 7 am stating that it would be delivered between 7:20 and 8:20 I sat in the lounge and awaited delivery. Now my lounge is on the 2nd floor at the back if the house but as it's early morning and we have a mains powered door bell it shouldn't be a problem. I heard what sounded like a van door close and awaited the bell to ring. Then got a text saying attempted delivery but no one home. WTF? So I quickly attempt to phone them but guess what? No way of speaking to someone. They have many phone numbers on their web page but if you'd like customer services then you have to email. It seems like the driver was in a crazy hurry it they are wanting me to pay for the upgraded delivery options. I do my best not to order from companies that use DPD. I will be feeding this situation back to the company I am awaiting my parcel from. I would recommend not using this company. Had 4/5 dealings with them and been unhappy with them all. I understand companies have off days but this is a company that rarely has good days. Avoid. You have been warned.
