Hi my driving lessons are very exciting because It's a new experience. My first class my instructor explained to me about all the controls, my instructor is called Sue she is very happy and a very good instructor. In my first class i was taught how to drive properly and was told effectively to forget about my previous bad driving habits. Drive Dynamics are always flexible with their time table and can change driving lessons as your personal schedule require. I have gave it a 5 star rating because i cannot find fault with the lessons and plus i get to drive around in a mini-cooper, which i have always wanted to drive in a mini. Very good driving company.
I purchased 20 hours worth of lessons with Drive Dynamics and met Steve my instructor. Steve was a brilliant instructor and made me feel really confident and calm. I was really nervous about my test but Steve helped me tons. He was flexible with when I needed my lessons too and moved things round as necessary. The car was a mini, which was really easy and comfortable to drive too. Thanks to Steve and Drive Dynamics I passed my test first time :).
After looking for a new driving instructor after having 3 awful instructors before,I was hesitant in continuing with my lessons. I looked at some other companies after 5 months of not being in a car I decided to.go.with driving dynamics and I am.so.glad I did. Chris was my instructor and he instantly made me relaxed and instantly my confidence returned. If you need lessons use drive dynamics value for money friendly instructors and I have already told my friends to.use this company.
They are misleading, Lie, worst service as well specially one of the instructors Simon and an Asian jab with a long name i cant remember now. you dont receive what you pay for. it takes long to get your money back as well. luckily i paid by card so have got that extra protection.
There are Regulations from both OFGEM and the FSA that deal with these kind of things and planning to report them soon before they take advantage of more innocent customers.
they also operate under two names which is the most suspicious.
Think before you use them and pay them.

I originally used Drive Dynamics to find an instructor for another area of Edinburgh when I lived there. The first 7 lessons for £99 (with 3 lessons added to when you take the test) seemed like a good offer, and the first instructor was called Scott and was great. He was extremely skilled, calm and never cancelled a lesson. He was adaptable and even ended up giving me the rest of the lessons without leaving any at the end. He was the best instructor I ever had, but also the last good one.
When I moved back to London, I was put with an instructor who kept cancelling and reshuffling lessons, although taught well. Things were fine until he decided to stop returning my calls or refund my 3 lessons (not including the introductory lessons). Drive Dynamics did nothing to chase him up and took ages to match me up to another driver. They had passed me back and forth between customer representatives and all of them made me FALSE yet convincing promises to phone back or deal with the problem, but it only ended up prolonging my matching me up with another instructor. They had lost contact with this instructor and did not have any way to chase him up for money. They did not even bother to tell me this when he left the agency to warn any customers of their inability to deal with the problem. This instructor's name is Steve Benjamin.
Then Desmond, the next driver, cancelled the 2nd lesson on the day after I had been waiting 25 minutes with no word and after texting and calling him. Then he moved the lesson to the weekend and was 3 hours late on the day again when I told him to call it off. He has still not refunded the other two lessons + three lessons (for when you take your test) despite my asking him. I doubt if Drive Dynamics have chased him up or did anything useful, even though the customer representative promised to do so.
They matched me, took their fee and did their MINIMUM to help me out and passed me from one representative to another. Finally, they were trying their best to make me not phone them again because chasing up an instructor doesn't make them money, at least that's what it seems.
I have only a few months until my theory will run out, but now I am so put off from learning to drive, I don't think I'll bother until the next time I feel like being messed around by driving instructors.
Whilst I cannot disagree with all the other posters, I feel that I must put in a good word for the beleaguered instructors who work for Drive Dynamics. We are all self employed and the quality of our work is monitored and regulated by the Driving Standards Agency and not by Drive Dynamics. It is wrong of Kumar Gaurav to say that the instructors are unskilled. I am a Grade Six instructor which is the highest grade awarded by the DSA.
I would however agree that they can be "difficult" to deal with from an admin point of view. My own experience with them has not been the best and I will not renew my contract with them.
I booked 10 lessons for £99 over the phone and later on that day i had to cancel due to a long term illness. I never had a lesson poor done to an instructor. When i called back, as i mentioned 'refund' everything changed they were horrible, rude, kept telling me different things giving me the wrong email address of customer service and NO ANSWER so it cost me a fortune spending fifteen minutes a call waiting for an answer on the phone with no luck. I emailed them didn't get a reply till four or give days later saying i couldn't get a refund! Even thoughi explained i have a syndrome that causes ascending paralysis, blood clots on my lung and my baby was three weeks old. I called the actual instructor and she said i should get my money back as i took no lessons. This has stressed me terribly. The worst service I've ever had in my life.
booked with them and paid up front for the 10 lessons £99 but then didn't hear from them for 2 weeks.
Phoned to get money back to go elsewhere n told me I was a liar as they had sent text message with lesson time that morning, which they hadn't.
Where very rude. Spoke to manager who refused to help n told me to phone customer service.
Tried over 20 times to phone customer service but can never get through. Wrote an email to them but haven't had a reply. Wrote on their facebook page and my comments just got deleted and ignored.
I have reported them to the Driving standards agency as I refuse to let them keep £100 of my money when I didn't even see an instructor.
Just recommend everyone to stay away from them, they are lairs and don't have a clue what they are doing and are no better than thieves !!
Paid asked for a male grade 5 intructer. Asked for my money back when I didnt get what was requested.
Sent all over to try and get money back. Only to have driving instructers turning up at my house.
Sales team happy to take money. But are useless with customer service issues.
Another point is when you ring up the sales team to book a lesson they add a 4.95 admin fee right at the very end.
Refuse to pay it. I did and they rang me back to take payment without the admin fee.
They describe all the instructers as brilliant without even been able to remember the persons name.
Once asked for money back they where rude and short with me.
Notes taken on system are poor to non existent.
Go with a local guy you know. Deal with them direct
I agree with all the negative comments , DO NOT GO WITH DRIVE DYNAMICS, they sold me a package without telling me it was not refundable , My driving instructor came to my lesson extremely late and his excuse was that he couldn't find my address which I gave to him a week ago, he also was using a map to get there. When I asked for them for a refund they said the couldn't give me one or change my driving instructor. Their Customer Service is awful!,
I also asked my driving instructor about how he teaches and fortunately I had lessons with AA previously and everything I said I had done in my first lesson he said he wouldn't have taught me that till after a couple of lessons. The seem really cheap but they plan on holding you back and teaching you at a slow pace, so at the end of the day you are paying the same amount you would pay more pricier companies. My Advice is do not go with them its QUALITY, NOT QUANTITY.
BEWARE!! Never ever opt for this company (also named as UKANKAN) their payment policy is not straight forward and do will end up paying extra as compared to other companies. Also there is no refund, you once paid you are stuck.
Also the instructors are unskilled and are not really ideal to be followed, e.g. in my case my instructor broke almost all rules he suggested me to follow.
NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!!
Just to give you a warning never to book lessons with this driving school! Booked lessons and was never contacted by an instructor and when asked for my money back, they said lessons were non-refundable which is something they did not say when I booked them.
Find another decent school.
