It's hard to find a company that's this genuine now days, my whole studio set up has been bought from DV247 even if I could of got it £10 cheaper from somewhere else, because of the quality of service. When it comes to buying expensive studio/producing equipment especially, it's hard to find a company that generally still cares about ensuring it lasts you a decent amount of time. Such as my KRK Rokit 6s which I bought a couple of months ago, when a fault arised in one of them DV247 easily sent if off for repair. 10/10 would recommend.
In a very competitive market, DV24 consistently offer excellent value - that cannot be denied. I've purchased a lot of gear from both DV24 and other well-known music outlets (GAK, Guitar-Guitar, Andertons, Dolphin etc), and what usually drives my decision to purchase from one of them is price, or the combination of price plus delivery.
The other major determining factor is, of course, whether they have the item in stock or not.
For me, an item listed as "In Stock" is exactly that - it's either in the stock room of the outlet I'm ordering from, or at the very least in a local warehouse or distribution centre.
I've ordered two items recently from DV24, both of which were listed as "In Stock" (they even inform you of how many of the items they have in stock), and as such, would have expected them to be processed into their distribution system (they've used UPS for these items) either on the day I ordered, or on the very next working day at least.
However, it appears that this is not the case at all. My first item took two clear days to be processed, and when the UPS Tracking Details did finally appear, it became apparent that it was in fact being dispatched to the UK from Germany. To my way of thinking, that's not what I'd call "In Stock" as advertised on DV24's website.
I ordered the second item from them late on the evening of June 14th (2013). I researched through all the stores I regularly do business with, performing all the usual price checks, as well as making certain the item was listed as "In Stock". Even ignoring Saturday 15th (and obviously Sunday 16th), I would have expected that my item would be processed and dispatched on Monday 17th (in fact Guitar-Guitar and Andertons both made clear that this would be the case, and they even guaranteed delivery to me on Tuesday 18th (today).
However, as it stands now, my item from DV24 has not even been marked as dispatched, and no Tracking Information is available as yet from UPS.
I've just spoken to DV24 Customer Services to enquire as to when my item is likely to arrive, and it was explained to me that, yet again, my item is being shipped to the UK from their warehouse in Germany, and is likely to arrive "in the next two or three days".
I'm sorry, but to my way of thinking, that is stretching the use of the term "In Stock" just a little too far.
For all they seemed to know, my item might not even arrive tomorrow (Wed 19th). The irony being, that considering I ordered my "In Stock" item (at least) 2 working days ago, I could actually order the exact same item this very minute (1pm Tues 18th) and have its delivery tomorrow guaranteed by one of DV24's competitors - Guitar-Guitar.
I honestly believe that in future, DV24 should consider making their processing procedure, and the likely times of delivery from Germany, much clearer to prospective buyers.
I've had some real bargains from DV24 in the past, but sadly, I believe this is likely to be the last item I will ever purchase from them.

I bought around 1,500 pounds in equipments on 21/03/13 in DV247 Clapham.
I sent my VAT refund form with customs stamp, and the salesperson Jack Crocker and the manager Jon confirmed that they had received the VAT refund form in hands. They also said the would pay me the refund but they have never done it.
I have all the emails from them.
I keep calling every week to DV247 and I always speak with a guy called Chris who say to me that he is going to give me a call back, but he never does and I need to keep calling them and spend my phone credits to ask them to pay me my money back, which is all my rights.
It has been 2 months already!

I ordered a pair of HF125 headphones on the morning of Friday 10th May and received a confirmation email from DV.
The order process and stock information was clear and easy and overall DV247 was a good shopping experience.
However, I ultimately ended up cancelling my order as all of a sudden that day DV247 announced a new “partnership” with Music Store – a German company.
A little further research and it turns out that DV247, rather White Rabbit Records, had gone into administration! Needless to say I didn’t feel good about my purchase at all.
DV247 had not been informed of this change and had no idea what would happen with my order - this was very bad service. I felt as if a sleight of hand was being used to move my order from being shipped from the UK headquarters in Romford to the Music Store headquarters in Germany!
It seems that although DV are carrying on using the same name and website, the company is now a German based outfit!
I cancelled my order and went to a UK based retailer instead and I would recommend you do the same.

box was a little crushed as packed in bubble and plastic bag rather than a box - product was fine and exactly what my husband wanted but it was an expensive gift so could have been better packed and then 5 star reviiew

My experiences with dv247 are next to none with having made two purchases from them both transactions went ahead very smoothly with no problems and great communication in sending me full details about my purchase. Items purchased were sent very quickly and delivered to right address first time on time and were exactly as ordered. Highly recommended! Many thanks to dv247!
dv247 impressed me immensely by having knowledgable staff on the phone but also directing me to another company when they didn't stock something. The delivery was lightening and when I realised that I'd paid over the free-postage bracket but over two orders they refunded my postage immediately. Very impressed.

Great service and delivery times but I was'nt impressed with the packaging of my amplifier! Luckily there was no damage so all credit to DPD on that one!!
DV247 shops and onlline store are the place to go to for all musicians, whether starting out or seasoned professional. The prices are very competitive, good and frequent bargains to be found on the website (which encourages you to go back and visit often), and the sales staff at their stores are very helpful
I'd looked all over the place for this amp, and DV247 were the only place with stock - "1" left. With other retailers I have been annoyed in the past when "1" left actually meant none when they went to pick it and my order had been delayed - i needed it quickly for a gig. I ordered at 2pm, got an order confirmation, but 6pm came and went and I'd had no dispatch confirmation, but that did come through at 8pm, and the amp was with me 9am the next morning.
Fantastic service and the customer service guys were great on the phone when i had to amend my delivery address.
All 100% regarding price and delivery. Minor quibble... when the manufacturer chooses to put a £100+ article in a very flimsy cardboard box, it's not really on for you to just put that in a plastic bag and hope for the best. Luckily, the product itself was tough enough to withstand the battering, but something more delicate would have suffered badly in transit. And if the product had been intended as a present (it wasn't) I'd have been unable to wrap it - the damage was that bad.
Either DPD need to be more careful, or you need to put stuff in cardboard boxes - even if that means an extra pound on the price.

This site was recommended to me by a friend. I'm so pleased I found it, I found what I was looking for at a better price than anywhere else, and it was sent to me I think the next day. Very good courier service too, they let me know exactly when to expect the delivery, so all in all very impressed and a satisfied customer!
I was orginally worried about buying a B-stock instrument but saw that there was a 12 month warranty and I could return the intrument if I wasn't happy (and there was free shipping). I also understood that B-stock from this company couldn't be delivered outside the UK Mainland, I live inn Northern Ireland. So I emailed the company and they were very helpful and kind.......it was delivered four days after the order was cleared.
When I received the package it was in its original yamaha box which looked a bit batter but it was well packed up. When I opened it all up and lifted out the saxophone it looked brand new!! I am so happy, now I have a good enough sax to do my grade 8 and diplomas! Thank DV247!!
I had not heard of this company before, and wanted a fender guitar pedal, which was best price around so was hesitent, however from placing my order I received emails and tetxs updating me, right up to the day of delivevery with ETA and options to change, and even the delivery guys name. The delivery only took 2 days, I was very impressed with all aspects of the service and would recomend this company Highly.

I ordered a bass guitar from the Spanish dv247 site. The price was the best I could find and the delivery came earlier than estimated,dv247 will be my first port of call when looking for musical instruments and accessories.
Found it quicker to order online,as telephone response was "we don't have it".
However it was a simple process, with no concerns. And copious amounts of info on the delivery and tracking.
Having spent a fair old bit of money over many years with DV, they will probably get more from me.

I have received the worst customer experience with this company. I asked for them to cancel my order moments after it being made and they did not respond. I am now on my third email to their so called customer services! My bank account has been charged which has caused me to go overdrawn and I haven't even got the goods. This is the third compliant I've made to dv247 concerning orders. First one was because I'd ordered a few items and their website said they had them in stock which I found was not the case when they told me three days later. From the complaints I've read online here it appears they don't carry much stock at all! My compliant before this one was that I had a faulty item and wanted to return it and they responded 9 days later and said a courier will collect the goods from us, it took them over two weeks to arrange this. I should have known better than to deal with these cowboys again. AVOID!
