Service was very efficient - prompt and keeping me informed throughout.
A suggestion would be to make your website a little more straightforward for the layman (like me) to use - I found it impossible to identify/find a standard golf ball light bulb - or current halogen/LED replacement...but maybe I'm just thick?!
My only issue is that the query I raised when ordering has been missed and I, therefore, haven't received a response.
Overall, though, very good.
Its strange but here is a company who provide those bits you can never find to repair white goods using a well thought out web site and highly efficient delivery system while keeping you informed of your order progress at all times. It will never catch on.
Seriously, full marks to this company. I have never had a problem dealing with them and always have them at the top of my list to look for spares. Keep it up.
I bought a convection heater for my outside office. works perfectly .
The delivery was excellent on the day , i received sms to let me know roughly when it was goign to be there , and it was as stated, which helped as i would have missed the delivery so I could make myself available..
Reasonably priced for the item, and its good quality. No complaints
I highlighted data service because i didnt get any phone calls, but with the right data responses ie sms I knew what was going on and didnt need customer service.
I can't fault the service I received from E-Counter staff. They were friendly, polite and efficient and dealt perfectly with my request for a replacement for one heater. Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend them to anyone.
I ordered a nobo panel heater. The goods arrived the next day, but the outer packing was very poor and hanging open. The cardboard box was the wrong size and shape and lacked styro foam and bubble wrap to provide support for a very long and thin item and to pack the voids in the box. Consequently the heater was bent in the middle.
I immediately called the customer services who were very sympathetic and keen to help. They said a replacement would be dispatched to arrive the next day or the day after (Friday) at the latest, and the damaged item would be collected. Friday came and by early afternoon the delivery had still not arrived. I spoke again to customer services. They said TNT had lost the package and as a result they were immediately dispatching another from their North London depot. An hour later a guy turned up to collect the damaged item but had nothing to deliver. An hour after that another guy turned up to collect. In the meatime the goods turned up at my other address.
I used e-trade counter because they were offering the best price incl free delivery. The messages and updates were a comforting bonus and the parcel arrived exactly when they said it would. Perfect customer service. Spot on.
I bought a PIR and a high power LED floodlight and both items were with me the next day. I'll definitely use them again.
Paid additional costs for next day delivery which never happened, when we called the call centre the staff were very helpful and advised of an issue and advised that the item would be delivered the following day, which it did, they also volunterred a refund of the additional costs we had paid for a next day delivery, we are still waiting for the refund
We were kept informed about the status of our order and it arrived on time. The item was in perfect condition and well wrapped. A good service all round. I would recommend e-tradecounter to my friends.
Bought two small electric heaters for my new conservatory. The two small heaters arrived in an over sized box that that had no packing around the two small boxes inside. Thus, allowing the two small boxes inside to move freely around. We all now that products break in transit and a little more care and attention when packing products should be taken. This is the first time I have ever bought electrical products on the interenet that have been packed this way. Let's hope that the products work when they are fitted!!!
Excellent service, faultless, 110% happy. What more can I say!
I ordered a fridge from E-TradeCounter. They had pretty good reviews, and the Lec L5026W under counter larder fridge was reasonably priced; £25 cheaper than Amazon, even including the £30 pallet costs. I received a dispatch confirmation email. As I wasn't given a delivery date, I had to contact the office to find out when to expect it. The lady on Live Chat was useful, and gave me a date. The fridge did indeed turn up on that day, although there was absolutely no contact or notice from the courier, whose telephone line was continually engaged.
The fridge was well packed, and we had to destroy the box to get it out as it had industrial staples keeping it together. Unfortunately, there was still a scuff mark above the door, which can only have happened prior to packing. My dad, who came over specifically to help me (I am in a wheelchair), installed the handle, plugged it in, made sure it was working, then took away the packaging and my old fridge for me. It was when I came to put food in it that I realised how small it was inside. In their spec, E-TradeCounter claimed it had a 97 litre capacity, but the User Guide that came with the fridge confirmed that it was only 82. Confused, I contacted them, and they explained that Lec had changed the spec without advising them, and offered to collect and refund. I agreed. This was on Thursday.
As I still hadn't heard from them the following Monday, I chased them up. I had bought another new fridge from Curry's in the meantime, and simply didn't have the storage space for two fridges. They promised that they would collect that day, but they just needed to find a courier who would collect 'raw (unpackaged) goods' - obviously, I didn't have the means or materials to repackage a whole fridge myself. I waited in all day, but they kept failing to call me, and when I called them, I was met with excuses. I also spent more time in their Live Chat room than I care to remember. My messages were either entirely ignored, or I was fobbed off with the false promise that someone would call. This was now two days wasted waiting in for delivery and failure to collect something I didn't even order. And I had to negotiate my wheelchair in a small flat around a white elephant of a fridge.
At the end of play on Monday, I told them if I didn’t hear from them with collection confirmation the next day, I would claim my money back through PayPal. On Tuesday, they contacted me to say that the earliest that they could collect would be Wednesday. They didn’t commit to a time until the morning of collection. They eventually collected it, one whole week, three days off work and a lot of inconvenience later. This was two weeks ago, and they still haven’t refunded me. They have now had my money for four weeks, and I have had to open a dispute case through PayPal to make them return the funds to my account.
Having been alerted to the discrepancy in the spec on their website, they have now changed the fridge capacity figure in their product description. I notice, however, that the width, energy rating and photo of the fridge are still all incorrect. Excuses aside, it is the retailer's responsibility to know their products, and a brief check of the item prior to dispatch would have highlighted the differences between product advertised and product actually available. They should know their stock. The fridges are visibly entirely different internally. The staff that I dealt with were friendly and polite, but the service was inefficient, unprofessional and riddled with excuses.
Whilst all this kerfuffle was going on, I ordered a much bigger, better make of fridge from Curry's, who provided free delivery, package removal, handle fitting and product installation within two working days. All this for a mere £5 on top of how much E-TradeCounter charged for their circus. What's more, the new fridge is on spec. Professional, predictable and efficient. It's a no-brainer for the future, really...
I came by E- tradecounter whilst looking for an immersion element for my mega flow... I tried others but no success,
This is a good site, and has a good quick delivery time,
Typical web based business - gives you a promise, then the easy part (taking your money) then fails to deliver!
I ordered a part - even took up the extra cost of next day delivery, the next thing I know I'm getting a message saying the order is delayed because their stock is exhausted and I've got to wait god knows how long before new stock comes from their supplier!
Isn't efficiency supposed to be a feature of computer technology? Why advertise a product, and offer next day delivery at extra cost if it isn't even in stock? In addition the communication was poor.
So now nearly TWO WEEKS later (9 actual working days) I still do not have the item!
