My experience sound 'spookily' familar.
I ordered two 'IPig' ipod docking stations from Micro heaven/ easyishop on the 6th january. When a week or so later nothing had arrived i got in touch only to be told the familiar "lost in the post by the Royal Mail" story.. (has the royal mail really got this unreliable?.. i think not) A week later one of the docking stations arrived (poorely packed and damaged box but contents ok). When i eventually got through on the phone line they told me that the second item was out of stock with no date available from the manufacturer. I cancelled this item and was told a refund would be processed right away to my card. Over two weeks later I have no refund and no reply to any of the several emails I've sent.
Draw your own conclusions. fortunately i paid by credit card so I'm hoping i can get my money back.
everything I have ordered has arrived promptly and in excellent packaging.
I have not had to contact them about anything, so am unable to comment on their customer service.
Quite simply, I have used their rather nice web site, ordered several items on several different occasions, and received the goods within the week.
I ordered a phone cover back in August 2011 and still to this date have not received the goods even though they took the money from my account straight away.
I have emailed 3 times and tried calling several times with no response to any of it.
A friend of mine also purchased a phone cover a couple of days later and she to has not received her goods.
They are just thieves!
Back in March, I bought and paid for an Ipod waistband carrier, but have never received the item. Despite sending a number of emails to Easyishop (Surrey Stores Ltd), only one received a specific response, which was back in April, stating -
"Unfortunately we are still awaiting new stock to come in of this item as the manufacturer has had a production problem. We apologise for this delay and will ship this item to you the day it arrives in our warehouse via special delivery at no extra cost to your self, considering the circumstances. Unfortunately many suppliers are having the problem with this item but we expect this to be resolved in the next few days. I apologise again for this further delay to your delivery."
My other emails just trigger an automated reply, with a promise of a response within 24 hours. Never happens. And there is no telephone number on their web site.
I regret ordering from Easyishop as certainly in my case, it seems like I've been dupped!
I placed my order christmas week, and hadnt noticed it said the dock wouldnt be in for 7 days, I received an email asking if I realised this as it could be a xmas present (which it was), i was offered a different colour which I received next day. Excellent service and I will definately use again and will recommend to friends and family.
I have used easyishop for all my i pod/i phone needs for the last couple of years and have always found their service to be excellent.
I recently moved to Canada and was worried that I would not be able to shop on the site any longer due to the postage distance, however I decided to order a new i phone 4 case not really thinking i would ever see it. Needless to say i was pleasantly surprised when my new case arrived in a couple of weeks.
Obviously I will continue to be a loyal customer for the considerable future as their sale staff and service have always been top notch.
I desperately needed protection for my new iphone 4 and compared prices on the internet. Easishop came up trumps on price and I was thrilled to get the goods quickly and as described.
Buying from the internet can be a gamble but I thoroughly recommend easishop.
Bought 2008. The case arrived next morning. Brilliant packaging. Mint condition-obviously new. Sturdy and has lasted me 2 years. I would carry on using it but i have just bought the new ipod touch and the case doesnt fit on the new one beause i had bought the case for the older generation of ipod touch.
I have made several orders with easyishop now and all have been handled perfectly. Goods were competitively priced, I received extactly what I ordered and everything always arrived quickly. A useful measure of a retailer's competence is how they handle problems, but I couldn't comment on this because I haven't any problems. Based on my personal experience, I would recommend easyishop.
I placed an order some iphone protective covers and a case. The money was debited from my account straight away, I was told the order was posted but nothing arrived. I tried to call but there was no number, I emailed and was told another was sent out but nothing arrived. I then emailed various times and go no response, eventually I got a response and was told a refund would be issued which never arrived.
I also asked to be taken off the mailing list which was obviously never done.
Criminals are running this and they are just stealing money
When I ordered the item, my account was debited instantly. I did not realise till later that I had pre-ordered a product that was not in stock yet.
It took 5 months to get the product and several emails. Lots of emails did not get a reply. I finally got a reply by sending one through the website rather than replying to the one I got after the sale.
I have pre ordered before but have never been charged until the item is dispatched.
Although delivery was prompt, the wrong item was sent and there was no response to 3 separate emails asking how to proceed with obtaining the correct item. I am now stuck with a case I cannot use. Also the company is offering free gifts in return for positive reviews!! DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY
I placed three orders for sub-aqua gear. The first two arrived two days after I placed the order. The third took longer - order placed a week later but despatched one week after I placed it. I was about to be concerned when I got the e-mail saying it had despatched and assume it was simply a stock issue
Well i thought it was jsut me that reciieved poor service from this webiste however from the reviews i can see this is a trend.
I bought an item off of here and was debited for it almost immediatly, after 30 days i still hadnt recieved it. I sent numerous emails to the company asking when it would be delivered however no reply was sent ( saw easyishop commented on one review advising they email back within a day. Funny that most people on here never got a reply!)
I then called my bank and was advised i could put through a visa dispute which i did. Suprise Suprise around 2 weeks after this was put through i recieved the item. As i had been waiting so long for the item i ended up buying the item from Apple instead.
The day after i recieved the item i sent it back to the company advising i didnt need the item anymore. In that process i then recieved another letter from my bank advising that i would be debited again for the item as the retailer had proof i had recived the item (fair enough i had but nearly 2 motnhs after i had orderd it!!!!)
The letter i recieved from my bank luckily had a contact number for the company which i immediatly called advising that i wanted a refund for the item as i had now sent it back!!!
WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER USED WHAT A SCAM!!! STAY WELL AWAY IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSE !!!!!!!!
The product was very good and the right price. I did have difficulty with contacting the company as non of my e-mail got a reply. Just wanted to know when my product was going to arrive as it was pre ordered. However it has arrive a day before I need it so it all ended well. Thank you.
I ordered the product on-line, paid a fair price, and received exactly what I ordered. No complaints from me.
Service could be improved to 5* by emailing despatch confirmation, and turnaround from order receipt being a little quicker
