The last time we needed to fly was when our car broke down in France. We had to get flights home the cheapest and quickest way possible.
Easyjet was the cheapest airline to fly the closest to home. In this case Liverpool, where we live in North Manchester.
The flights for 5 of us with 3 bags cost 808 Euro, which was just the standard Easyjet deal. We got the feeling we paid more than half the plane put together though. The only criticism is Easyjet had the seats but insist on charging high fares for last minute or they would fly empty rather than sell the seats.
On the plane was ok. Everything is extra cost but that is expected from a budget airline. The plane left on time and arrived slightly early.
I would say you get what you pay for, because if we had booked these flights early like so many do, you get no frills for a cheap flight. They run them like buses, but again thats to be expected to make them cost effective.
Its unfortunate we had to book late simply because our car had to stay in France until it could be returned home.
