Booked 15 seats from Zurich to Edinburgh via London. Very easy to do on line and one of the best prices available. Much better on line service now as up front price is shown right from outset. Flights were on time and service was good.
Customer certainly don't come first. Treated as an inconvenience. Pilot kept us waiting for forty minutes and didn't even apologise.
i used for about 5 months this air comany twice a week without any problem always in perfect time with lovely hostess a perfect company to fly with.
i have flown with other airlines in the past. in the last 5 yrs it is always easyjet my wife and i are both disabled. we have found no other airline that giventhe service to us as easyjet.
Used Easyjet in March. Service was good and punctual both ways, the staff look much better now they don't wear the gaudy orange sweatshirts or polo shirts.
Have started to recommend them again, after being disillusioned a few years back.
good flight but I wont fly with them again because of the "free for all" on boarding.I know you can pay for priveliged pass ,but its supposed to be budget.
Have a high regard for Easy J but bad enough being delayed but the lack of information and was the worst ,Just tell us keep us up dated we can take it but we need to know
Flew Gatwick to Milan Malpensa. Very pleasant staff and also very efficient. good value for money.
Return journey 25 May Flight 5294. The two male stewards were scruffy and unshaven. This lowered the tone!
keine Antwort, keine Gummipuppe (Test)
Baggage charges are inflated and when at checking if required, are over inflated. Supervisory staff have NO customer relations or tact. They are very terse and rude (LGW especially) even when we are poplite. (No wonder they are the subect of ridicule on TV). On board services are excellent and on-time service is god considering that most boardingis done away from th terminal where seniors had difficulty climbing the stairs carryng heavy bags with no assistance.
Always booked our flights through easy jet - now the prices are going up and the service is getting worse I don't know anymore....A lot of flights are getting cancelled or were delayed recently.
EasyJet's baggage policy is complicated enough I spent two hours on research and discussing with three different customer service representatives-- each of the three with different answers. I finally had the third make a ruling and email it in writing. When I got to the gate on departure, the ruling was not honored. The representative refused to read my printed confirmation. We fought for several minutes before he capitulated, after I read it aloud to him when he refused to read it, and insisted they honor their agreement. The same experience on the return flight-- ignored email. Worse, cheating was a planned policy: they offered a sports equipment option, requiring purchase, that actually decreases your total allowance if you are not traveling alone. That is a cheating policy, to make an offer with a negative value, hiding the fact that it is a negative value under the most common of circumstances and representing it as if it were positive. As is not honoring an agreement.
On the return flight, a rattling began that turned to a hum on maximum speed, that was so loud, I could not hear the person next to me without their shouting. It was a torturous, long flight. If I did not have noise-cancelling headphones I think it would have damaged my hearing, and it was maddening as it was. It was that loud, that on my hundreds of flights in my lifetime, I have never experienced a noise like that. I wondered if they do not care to take planes out of service for non-mandatory repairs, hoping whatever was loose will have no effect on shell integrity. I will never fly EasyJet again, primarily because of their cheating policy: it is cheating to make an offer with a negative value; and it is cheating not to honor an agreement, and to try to slip out of an agreement. I have no evidence to believe the noise is a part of a systemic culture of inappropriate plane maintenance. Just my personal lack of confidence.
This is how it should be done. Just traveled to Hurghada and back with EasyJet. The booking process was easy, no extra charges unlike some companies!
Took the speedy boarding option which I highly recommend. Got extra leg room both ways.
Staff on flight were brilliant. Well done EasyJet
Would be pretty bad if Ryanair did not exist to show us how bad it can be. On short journeys EJ does the job, and staff are usually fine. The one hand bag, not even an extra ladies handbag or mans small briefcase is crazy. The time wasted stuffing these items in the main hand luggage holds up boarding and affects timekeeping. Tight changeovers means small delays knock in through the day - we were 90 minutes late on Friday evening.
Sometimes the word 'budget' excuses being treated like cattle and Easyjet have this problem. Its a shame because the airline has great adavantages, but it no personal touch, in fact many of the employees seem to resent customers. Wish I could rate them with full stars but they need to change a lot!
I love using easy jet because it's simple and straightforward. There's a lot of advertising, but at least you're not fooled into purchasing luggage or travel insurance.
Had assisted boarding at Gartwick and Malta. Both were excellent and could not have been more help.
The leg room was good and flight crews excellent. The food onboard was good and reasonable for the money.
One head steward on the returm journey (her name was Lesley) was a breath of fresh air so pleasant to all and kept the passenger amused as well as happy. Her fellow crew also reacted to her relaxed approach. I have never seem so many people on landing at Gatwick say thank you to the crew. She needs a gold award if their is one. I FOR ONE WILL USE EASYJET AGAIN AND AGAIN.KEEP UP THE GOOD SERVICE.
I was very disappointed with my last trip on EasyJet. After buying a new carry-on bag precisely to fit their specifications, I was forced to check it anyway at the gate because "there were too many carry-on bags on this flight". We also felt like cattle having to stand in line for an hour just to be able to sit together. Is it really too expensive to give out seat numbers with your borading pass!! I think I'd rather pay more to fly than to be treated like this again.
I always book flights to Ibiza with Easyjet as they fly direct from Liverpool and the service is usually good, the airplanes aren't tacky and the staff are usually helpful and well mannered.
Have flown many times with EasyJet. Mostly good experiences.
What puts them above other airlines is the fact that you can adjust your passenger or your dates if you need to. It cost +- £40 and its quick and all done online. Say you can make that date, someone else can take your ticket - perfect.
Food quality onboard could be improved.
Air stewards should be more helpful with regard to the baggage space situation.
In the end you get what you pay for for. A good budget airline that delivers you to main city airports. For Gatwick users like me, they are Europes main carrier. Handling delays due to aircraft not being available or bad weather could be better, but they are a lot better than some of their competitors
But you just got to love the way the bill gets padded by the time you get to the end of the form. By which time, your ticket price can compare with BA or any other major airline who may go where Easyjet goes.
Easy to check in easy to spot where the check in area is and which gate you are going to thanks to the orange logo, nice staff, horrible food but what do you expect on a plane, comfy seats and although there was no assigned seating we still managed to get seats together.
Actually easy to use, all prices are shown clearly and there are no surprises when it comes to paying. Select the dates and times that suit you! BRILLIANT!!!!
A good value for money airline. I have used them a few times and the only issue I have had is space in the seating but on some flights I have had a few seats to myself which was good.Staff are all very friendly and professional.
No consistency with luggage allowance, you could take 2 bags out from England but then staff over in Spain completely over the top and unreasonable only one bag on the way back, which is fine but you need to make it the same each way. Crap company. Fly with British Airways!!
Very competitive prices to first rate destinations with very good European cover.
Prices include the basic travel and extras are for extra services, not flippant charges.
I would prefer seat allocation rather than the stampede....
Excellent flights to and from sharm el shiek from london luton.
On time, comfortable, and very good service
Myself and a friend purchased airline tickets with Easyjet to Innsbruck in September last year.
We where a party of five, three of which where children aged 8/8 and 12.
On arrival at the airport the queue for bag drop was very long. After some time in the queue we checked with the easyjet representative to make sure we where fine time wise and where assured all was fine. With 10 minutes to go before the gates closed we again spoke with the easyjet representative who looked to the ground and said “try and get to the front”.
Chaos then ensued as everyone then tried to get to the desks.
Easyjet then closed all the gates and refused to hold the plane. We where then told to go to the customer service desk and book onto the next available flight.
It became apparent that we where not the only people in the same situation. The customer desk had some 150 people waiting. Things got very heated and at one point the police where called. I saw one blind lady in tears at having missed her flight.
I’ve since learned that 40 people did not make it onto our flight.
With no senior easyjet representative taking charge of what was becoming a very heated situation we where forced to make alternative travel arrangements.
We purchased (at a premium) flights to Munich via Frankfurt, hired a car and drove to our destination.
Seeking suitable compensation has fallen of deaf ears. I have also asked for an explanation of the event s of April 1st and what alternative flights where offered to fellow passengers again these have been denied.
Quite a pleasant experience. Just wish they were a bit cheaper and then I would use them more often.
OK, I was lucky. M HAMBSL last left on the minute and arrived a but early. But all was very professional & friendly. The 2010 wave of delays seems behind us. OK, my bag was too expensive to check in but I should have thought of this when buying the tkt.
Had not traveled EZY for a while (since they abandoned EMA) until using the MAN-PMI service, and was pleasantly reminded what a modern low-cost carrier could offer. The Airbus is definitely superior to the B737 for flight comfort and I enjoyed having a seat pocket to keep my personal effects in.
Easyjet, please think about returning to EMA (or BHX) is I'd like to have a choice of airlines who fly planes built in this century!
Apart from their luggage polices and prices, never had a problem.
I have even had a baggage lost claim fulfilled in a quick and pain free way. Plus they were also "understanding" when I inadvertenly booked seats twice.
So no gripes fromk me.
I have made over 40 trips with Easyjet and have always found them efficient and great value for money.
I have had no negative experiences, even on the one occasion when our flight had to be cancelled and rescheduled for the next day the staff were amazing and we were put up in a high grade hotel at no cost to us.
Am travelling with them to Madrid in 4 weekd time and am looking forward to the experience once again.
