Pity I can't say 'Zero Stars'

Having read the reviews already here, there's very little I can add. Don't know if this company is still in business, but I suspect they'll just start trading under a different name - so watch out ! Their products are absolute rubbish - I reported them to trading standards earlier this year. I returned some goods, recorded delivery, and three weeks later they claimed they'd never received them. I threatened legal action and, what a surprise, they suddenly found them. I eventually got my refund, but it took weeks.

Low quality products with terrible policy on refund/returns

Their service is poor. I ordered a few items online, they sent wrong sizes, incorrect product and whatnot.
Quality of their products is really poor.. explains why their price is low. Looks like straight lift from poor chinese products.

Now their returns policy (even for faulty products) is ridiculous. You have to call their 0871 number to get a returns authorisation code.
Then pay for shipping/posting faulty item back to them. Then you have to request them if they will reimburse the shipping charges which you had to incur because of their fault (faulty product or sent incorrect product).

Neither I will use them nor recommend them.

My experience was first class in every repect.

Well I must say that despite the bad reviews here on this site my experience with Easylife group was really excellent. The goods arrived very quickly and was able to return some items I didn't need with an immediate refund (I kid you not). Infact I bought from them before reading these reviews which would have put me off with out a doubt


I did however do this via their ebay shop (which does have good feedback)
So if you are going to buy from easylife group I guess this might be the best option as they performed superbly here in every respect.

Worst customer service ever

Didnt want to give any star rating as i have never bought from such a bad company, we did actually get our order but was no use, the box was a waste of time as it was all damaged and most of parts for filing cabinet missing, rang customer service and i know you shouldnt lose your temper but if i could have got my hands on the little arse i would have rung his neck, he was rude and patronising, the sooner this company is out of business the better, they are taking hard earned money and sending the biggest load of unusable tat, so after spending £130 we now have to go buy another one which we can actually use asking to return something is a waste of time, think i might have to go find the office and take it back personally

These people are danegerous liars and fraudsters!!

2 months after placing an order as i am disabled i did not recive my goods! The touch screen phone i ordered had been sent back broken by some one else with thier note and diagram still with it!!, after 16 hrs in the sun the solar lamps never came on, the adjustable table collapesed spilling a hot drink all over me!! They took the money for the goods out of my bank account before i had them, now they got the bloody cheek to tell me i got to pay 10 pound up front to have the goods returned, and will issue a refund after they checked them!! THEY SHOULD BE LOCKED UP!!! Do not buy anything off these evil liars, they should also be done under the trades description act, none of the goods fitted thier description or photos. Why haven't they been raided and thier assets siezed like they did to the public! To take money off people who can ill afford the financial and health impact, before they had the goods is theft, and physical and mental gbh!! SPREAD THE WORD BEFORE SOME ONE ENDS UP MAIMED OR DEAD!!!

What a bunch of amateurs

Goods not delivered after over 6 weeks. Phoned last week and was told that the order is delayed by shortage of 1 item. I asked for other items to be dispatched, which was agreed, but that has not happened. Shopper Discounts & Rewards took £10, which I was unaware of, and I had to ring them to get a refund.

very, very, very, very, very slow delivery service

I ordered a product from this company in Nov/Dec 2009 and it arrived in Jun 2010 and I had to repair it to make it work! (small electrical item with loose wire).

Stupidly I put my trust in them again in January of this year 2011 and ordered some bits and pieces. Two items arrived in late March and I'm still waiting for the last item which I've been told is at last in their packing department awaiting dispatch so hopefully it will be here soon - it's now 18 Apr.

THIS COMPANY ADVERTISES ITEMS IN ITS CATALOGUE FOR WHICH IT HAS NO STOCK WHATSOEVER. They order the items from the various stock holders or manufacturers only when they have received and cashed an individual order from a customer. They have no control as to the immediate availability of any products advertised in the catalogue hence the atrocious delays.

Many other on-line retailers manage to provide a high standard in terms of receipt of order and subsequent delivery times. easylifegroup may have very courteous telephone staff but they need to sort out their stock and delivery system if they wish to get any repeat business.

Extremely unprofessional

They do not reply to simple emails, would never use them again. Order arrived late, size and style wrong, no satisfaction from customer service, the worst I have ever experienced.

Awful company!!

goods were received late.

communication from the company was terrible.

products advertised were useless!

The seamless socks which claim to help circulation etc are rubbish, nothing like the photo - which were white cotton socks (see below).
There is no arch support or no cushioned heel or toe support!!
They are flimsy and not white they are a tan colour, literally like pop socks and DO NOT do the job at all.

Also the clip on magnifiers are useless too.

No response to emails

Items ordered 23 Jan, eventually arrived 22 FEBRUARY after I sent 3 emails and GETTING NO RESPONSE - no explanation - no apology - no so called 'free gift' - never again will I deal with this organisation. What pathetic Management!!!

WILL NOT ISSUE ME WITH AN RAC OR RETURNS ACCOUNT CODE SO 14 DAYS RUN OUT

I cannoit believe that such a company can be allowed to stay in Business. They wont answer emails, they wont respond to web submisiions, they wont answer the phone, and when they do they deliberately leave you on hold at either 5p/min or 10p/min. When you get through they hang up, they make it appear the line has dropped but you are cut off. I have faxed them as well. They hide your customer no. when you register online so you cant be traced if you get through to sales. As for delivery, I ordered 6 Dec 2010 and it arrived 31 January 2011. I ordered from a flyer. The items I wish to return are a disgrace, 2 halogen heaters with bulbs missing or have fallen out. A shocker.

No response whatsoever to e mails > The Dark Ages !!

This company has NO customer services. I am glad my first instincts were to avoid a "long wait" on the phone at my cost for its incompetence!
I am really surprised that the EXPRESS GROUP of papers allows the use of its name to such a cavalier bunch spivs! Ordered snow/ ice shoe fittings and cancelled 8 days later and having no receipt of my e-mail repeated my cancellation 2 days later and instructed them that they DO NOT have my authority to debit my account. Again no response.
They sent them on the28th Jan. NOw read your ratings and can well understand the complaints of others. I Will get My money back!

ARROGANT INCOMPETENCE

A shambolic incompetent badly run company bordering on fraudulent. Took my money, did not deliver the goods, tried and failed to get though 9 times to customer services, got through easily on the order line - said they could not help,did not respond to my e-mail cancelling the order,did not respond to a personal e-mail to the managing director giving him 7 days to respond or face legal action which I am now starting. I have also got interest from a National TV programme which features Cowboy traders.

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE

absolutely rubbish

i ordered an item from easylife group on 16th dec. phoned on 29th dec. was told my order was being prosessed which according to there recorded message says 24 hours.
phoned on 16th jan. they told me they would have to reorder and blamed the postoffice. if this is the way they treat customers i would not like to tell my friends about there service.ido not nkow what it cost me for phone but you never got through till about 8 mins.if you were lucky and if you phoned customer services which is double the price i just got cut of after ten mins.

They are a TOTAL DISGRACE and the sooner that scam companies like this are wiped out the better for everyone.

Total scam or just total incompetence???

Order placed 13th December 2010, payment for goods taken from my account on 23 December. Chased order by email on 04.1.2011. Managed to actually talk with customer service on 9.1.2011 after holding on phone for 35 minutes (Cost to me of 35 x 10p = £3.50). Told that goods were sent on 30.12.10. As I have not received them I was told to notify them in writing. So I sent a second email (9.1.11) asking for my goods or a total refund and still I hear nothing. Is this a total SCAM ???

Worst customer service ever

Placed order 9th December 2010, still no sign of goods. Have emailed several times, one response received saying that goods have been dispatched on 29 December. Payment taken from my credit card 23 December. Phone always engaged except at 4.40 pm Friday 7th January, message said I must phone between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday! Don't know if credit card company will be interested as payment is below £100.00?

Incompetent or what?

Order placed on 26th November. No goods received. No answers to e-mails, and telephone always engaged (no wonder!). They have not yet taken any money and I have written cancelling my order. Presumably they are already, or will soon be, going bust - what company can continue to exist when it operates like this!

Inept? Certainly. Fraudulent? Possibly

I'll let my credit card company decide if these cowboys are fraudulent or not.

Six weeks and still no goods. Phone them and you get a recorded announcement blaming the bad weather at sea causing their ships difficulties.

Original at least.

Other times you get through eventually and get fibs, lies, blatant lies or genuine whoppers.

I've had enough and I'm handing it all over to my credit card company.

Hopelessly inept

I ordered 5 items on the 29.10.10 ,the money was taken 10 days later,still no sign of the items.I emailed ,nothing .their customer service telephone line is 10p per minute !! You have to be joking.I finally received two items 29.11.10 1 month later (I live 15 miles frm them ) no explanation ,no apology ,they dont deserve to be trading at all.

Appalling

Ordered goods on 09/11/10 online. Email received confirming item will be sent within 5-10 days. But nothing received after 14 days, have ignored my emails and calling the "premium line Customer services" telephone number (that's a nice little earner at 10p per minute!) doesn't get a personal response. I will now consider instructing my credit card co. to stop payment as, having now read previous appalling customer reviews along similar lines, it would appear that this Co. is worthy of investigation by Trading Standards.

Appalling

Goods ordered failed to arrive after waiting 8 weeks and 3 calls to their premium customer service line. Emails went unanswered. Although they sent an email to say the goods had been dispatched after about 6 weeks they never came. Claimed delivery sevice must have lost them. Offered to re-send them then admitted not all items in stock. Only one girl I spoke to sounded remotely interested. One claimed they were a call centre for a number of companies. I cancelled the order and told them to remove me from their database. I did receive a refund. Don't use this company.

NO REFUNDS

Start off being helpful but become evasive. Car paint scratch remover is useless despite being called a miracle. Wrong items sent and no refund after 2 months. This is FRAUD.

DIABOLICAL SERVICE

I placed an order in mid July for items including an insect screen for the french window. Despite Easylife claim to normally despatch goods within 72 hours, by mid-August I had heard nothing. After chasing them I was told one of the items was out of stock until November but did I want the other items in the meantime. Having agreed to this and being told they would be delivered asap I still didn't receive anything until 9th September (despite the fact they debited my account on 18th August). By then the screen was no longer of any use; there was only one set of 'Wonder hangers' which they advertise as 'buy one get one free' and there was no 'free gift'! I have since emailed them twice for the other set of hangers and have received no response whatsoever. I consider this company to be completely unprofessional and at the very least their delivery claim is a complete misrepresentation of the facts.

Should have read previous reviews

Ordered three items a month ago. Called two weeks ago as nothing received. Was told that a free gift was out of stock and they were waiting for it to arrive. I advised them that I didn't realise there was a free gift and they could send on later. Two weeks further down the line, still waiting. That is a month now and still no goods. Should have read reviews of this company before buying from them - won't be doing so again. Like previous reviews, I would have given zero stars if that was possible.

Worst company I have ever dealt with

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The only reason i have given 1 star is that you do not have a minus category. I only wish I had read the review sites before I ordered from them. I ordered on 18th July and the item has still not arrived. They do not answer e-mails and the person on their premium rated 'phone line is bored and disinterested. If they debit my Bank account before the goods arrive I will instruct my Bank to get my money back. Most Banks will do this for their customers.

Late Delivery - Poor Service

We ordered two shoe stretchers for man's and ladies shoes. Despite an email saying that items would be delivered within 7 days it took 2 weeks for the delivery and when they arrived the instruction leaflet was such a poor copy it was unreadable. The company did eventually email a better set at my request.

i have rated company 1-only because its the minimum allowed. i would prefer no stars

grill toaster

The grill toaster broke down after only 2 months use and I had to call on their premium line to ask for a full refund and they refused on ground of their own terms and conditions that they send a replacement. I had no choice but to accept a replacement. Again it broke down after a month and I could not be bothered to call them as their phone number is a premium number. Very disappointed with their policy.
