I purchased a computer from easypc on the recommendation of pcpilot, the popular flight sim magazine in the opening days of November. With the order complete and payment transferred I played the waiting game. The 10 day delivery timeline came and went and still no computer had arrived. I contacted Martin, and he assured me that my pc would be on the way by the end of the week, as he was having issues with hard drive shortages. Content that there was a genuine reason I focused on the end of the week. On the 23rd of November, a full three weeks after I initially placed the order, I was told the company was no longer trading. Much to my frustration, after asking Martin if he could send the computer in its current state, he could not send me the pc due to the legalities. In truth I felt cheated, as this is not the type of situation which arises overnight. The mere fact I had waited three weeks to be told of this news, a full ten days after I should have recieved the product added to the annoyance of the situation. It would be a safe assumption that I was not impressed by the way this was handled.
Easy-PC were the only company on the internet that I could find that would sell me a top end PC at a reasonable price. All the components they use are from top manufacturers, this is pretty much unheard of from firms such as Dell and PCWorld.
I had some technical questions about the machine I wanted to buy so I emailed the company, their response was swift and clearly from somebody who knows what they are talking about. That filled me with confidence so I went ahead and bought the machine.
The website states delivery will be between 7-10 working days. After 10 working days I decided to login into "My Account" on the website to see the status of the order. To my anger I found they hadn't even started building the machine. So I contacted them to find out why they had not started and I received a prompt response informing me that there were delays due to HDD shortages at their supplier. I continued to wait and eventually after 19 days I received the machine with a free upgrade on the graphics card and a HDD that was double the ordered size. Mind blowing compensation considering the machine was already the best value I could find by a country mile.
The actual machine runs like a dream and is very quiet.
So all in all, they provided very slow delivery, good communication, top notch customer service, mind blowing value and a mind blowing quality machine. Still that makes 5 stars in my book. Thoroughly recommended.
Had a PC built with a Cooler master Cosmos 1000 case with specific parts all done over the phone with Martin, PC arrived in perfect condition but the graphics card was giving me a few problems I spoke to Martin and explained he told me to hang on to the card for the time being and would send me a new card and have the old card picked up by the same courier, received the new card 2 days later everything worked perfectly since that's almost 2 years ago and still works like new. Would highly recommend , Martin is very experienced system builder and an absolute gentleman, I wish all companies would give this level of service. Jim in Liverpool

If I were to say I was astounded, it wouldn’t quite do your service justice. I was very cautious about getting a computer from Easy PC because it’s not a big cooperate company, like Dell. Let me tell you, I am so glad that I did buy from Easy PC because not only have I bought a powerful computer, but it was cheaper than the most powerful computer on Dell, even some other huge companies I’ve browsed at. Easy PC has a good communication service, who knows their stuff without having to explain what you want, (I mean, the guy who I was on the phone to knew exactly what I wanted without me having to say anything in great detail!) You hear a lot of good reviews about Alienware computers, but it has nothing on my new computer Easy PC made for me. There is no lag playing games, and I have everything on the highest, even stuff I’ve never heard of! The cooling system is amazing, I never have to get worried about my computer overheating. If you had the same worries like me about getting a computer from Easy PC, you honestly need to forget about it, because they are phenomenal, and I don’t take that word lightly. Delivery was 2 weeks late, but that's only because the graphic card I wanted didn't get in stock in time. Delivery itself was perfect, well wrapped and not a scratch on the box let alone the actual computer. Forget Dell and Curry’s and Comet – go for Easy PC, reliable, extremely helpful, and an overall perfect and uncomplicated service. Thank you!
You should be judged by what happens when things go wrong rather than when things go right (assuming it's not often!!).
I bought a media centre, as I did the motherboard sold out and was not re-orderable, they upgraded me no questions asked. When I received it, the TV card didn't work, they wouldn't have known this as I ordered the pc without an operating system, they sent a replacement card, again, no questions asked.
I accept things like this happen but to have them resolved easily makes all the difference which is why I'm using this feedback site for the very first time. Keep up the good work.
I have bought 2 high spec PCs from Easy PC now and they have both been excellent. After 2 1/2 years I had a problem with the hardware of one of them - even though it was out of warranty Easy PC took it back, fixed it and sent it back out extremely quickly and at a very fair price. I imagine faults are rare though, they use top quality components and the after-care service really can't be faulted. I have been very impressed by every aspect of the business and I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a good quality PC.
When I decided to buy a new PC build, I was looking for 3 things: Quality Parts, Fair Prices, and Customer Service. Easy PC were the only company to tick all 3 boxes. My PC arrived after just 1 week, the build quality is first class, and Easy PC were very helpful and supportive during the build process. I recommend Easy-PC... their name says it all.
I made contact a few times to confirm some details (such as Sandybridge problem) and got simple non ambiguous answers. When making the payment arrangements I spoke to a machine on Fridat lunchtime and in 30 mins had a call back, confirmed the details and had an interesting conversation about sophisticated supply chain model (he had been unloading a lorry :-)). Felt good to have somebody 'real' to deal with. Web site emailed out at regular steps the payment, commit order, build instructions, move to shipping an dthe shipping details. Arrived exactly 1 week from order as promised. Machine is quiet, verty fast !! (i7, 8GB RAM) and for a black box not ugly. Inside layout is well put together, cables look like plenty of slack to re-juggle as I add drives etc.
There are quite a few custom PC builders out there and I spoke to 3 or 4 before choosing Easy PC. Others had given bad advice in the hope of getting me to up my budget and seemed pretty cowboyish. After speaking to Martin at Easy PC it was clear that he was really experienced and absolutely genuine. He actually advised me against the more expensive component I had suggested because it wouldn't have brought any benefit to the system. Build quality is superb, delivery was prompt and within an allocated one hour time slot. There was a minor issue with the system which Martin handled very promptly and with no fuss. I've had the system for a few weeks now and it has worked faultlessly and is as fast and quiet as I hoped. Would definitely recommend and use again. thanks, Will
I ordered a computer to replace a very old slow one.Ordering over the phone was very friendly and efficient.They took time and trouble to get all the details of my order correct. Delivery was on time, computer was very well packaged, and everything just worked ok. straight out of the box. So fast,friendly and efficient service. Well done.
The turn around on my base unit was fast only 1 week from ordering to arrival. it was very well packaged and setup and ran within a minute. the parts are quality and the operating system was set up with all gfx drivers so instantly ready to go. I had thought about a bigger power supply but a phone call to Martin at easy pc took care of any worries I had and stopped me spending more than needed. Hey he'd rather give free advice than take more money, you rarely see that kind of customer service nowadays (Top guy). I asked for a different O/S on the last day... no problem and he even sent a better gfx card than the one I ordered. The system is super quiet runs very cool and plays everything I have maxxed out. Easypc have been awesome. I bought direct from their website but was hugely impressed by their ebay site with over 9000 sales and an incredible good feedback rate which speaks more highly of them than I can.

(b) Custom Builds:
For a custom-build, a sale happens like this:
(1) You e-mail the build you want -- be exact. (2) You get a quote back (telling you how much it will cost, and/or detailing any alternate parts may have to be used [if any]). (3) You send another e-mail making an agreement to do the deal. (4) You make payment -- typically via telephone or PayPal transaction. (5) You receive delivery about 10 days later.
I could tell Martin was experienced in system building. I selected him and his company over quite a number of other businesses (probably over 10 competitors). The reasons I went with him were:
(i), the knowledge, helpfulness and speed of his replies. (ii), his willingness to offer a genuine custom-build PC with the parts I specified. (iii), his offer of a price-point that was reasonable, set against the hardware selected.

After payment, delivery was prompt. The delivery arrived, well-packaged and undamaged, as two boxes under a single delivery (i.e., as “box 1 of 2” and “box 2 of 2”).

The build was exactly as as agreed and was executed well. Attention to detail had been paid to cable management, and my request to house particular components at particular locations was upheld.
The price-point was very reasonable for the hardware selected.

System set-up went without a hitch. I did the following:
* unpacked, connected and powered-up. * installed my Operating System. * installed network drivers from CD (for internet). * installed all other drivers from online (for most up to date drivers). * installed software.
I have had several transactions with this company, each time, the products are delivered on time, sealed and in perfect conditions. It could be easily self installed. However, several times i needed help, and a assistance was always sent in the most promote manner. I highly recommend this company. Their products are highly distinguishable. Thank you
When I received my item I was absolutely amazed to witness the amount of condensation and general water particles found on everything inside my new item. I gave it a few hours in room temp before turning on. BANG the PSU had of course had to much condensation and water as a big electric surge came out of the back. Also there was a screw missing which actually keeps the PSU fan in place NOT ACCEPTABLE. I know this was around Christmas time but in mid Jan there was no excuse as this could have been easy avoided with the right storage method's literally i could run my finger tip on any hardware and my finger would be wet as if one would have just touched a damp service. I spoke to easy pc and the delivery service they use and either company would except it could have been either fault. also the condition of my box which contained the power lead for PSU was in a very unacceptable wet, damaged and not up today's standards. Lucky I had a few spare. So the same day I sent the PC back to get a new (dry) PSU. After all this I got my pc back from the company and to my amazement AGAIN! there was no PSU power lead as they asked for everything back. Now if I didn't have any spare this would have been more than a nightmare experience and three days later up turned the PSU lead. for the first few months the pc was running okay. I did a review and gave it 5 stars (how I regret doing that) so 6 months on here I am. Every now and then the hard drive fails and everything is lost so I back up everything to be safe. I also get very high temps which I never had before and and it is not because we are in summer or anything like that because I have air conditioning in my and because I was getting high temps 3 months ago. I was really impressed at 1s't at these guy's offers but what topped it off is when I actually called after the 1s't incident to have the receptionist laugh as I told her that my pc had just blown up. If the PSU lead was sent when it should have and a screw was in actually screwed which for health and safety reason's surely was not in place and not to be laughed at I would overlooked the main fault at hand. PC blowing up soon as arrived I am sorry that just is not acceptable in today's standards. I have since seen a few other sites that do better job then these quick and unreliable PC'S I would give easy PC-UK 1 star but then again they have not committed fraud... I asked for a refund as the PC is not what it once was and got told no after six months not even a year that's a liberty. I refuse to send back to these people as I would rather send to PC world as them guys no what there doing. I hope people read this before buying from this company as i have had nothing but trouble with them and my PC
I've ordered a number of systems from this company, and each time they have equalled or bettered delivery expectations. They always use the appropriate, top-notch components for each system, without any corners being cut. I've had to ask for help on a number of occasions (mainly due to my own ignorance) and have always received a prompt, timely, accurate response. Advice is offered before and after sale. I can't recommend this company enough Martin
I purchased a Core i7 12GB PC with a GTS Graphics card, I paid that little extra for the 1GB version of the card. When I received the computer I checked everything was working OK. I downloaded a few pieces of software to check the system, as the card was only reporting 512MB. I checked the manufactuer number on the sticker and it was correct, it was meant to be 1GB. So I emailed the company and they asked me to send the card back. The computer was working fine, so if I sent the card back I would have been without a PC for a week or two. EasyPC UK did me a great favor and let me hold onto my faulty card, then sent me a new one from the manufactuer. I then sent the old card to them and refunded my deposit.
A couple of months later, this is a first for me, but I noticed my control panel saying 10GB. I wondered where the other 2GB had got to! So I checked the BIOS and sure enough 2GB seemed to have randomly died. I emailed EasyPC UK and they instructed me of how to check which DDR stick could be faulty, sure enough in minutes I identified the faulty stick and sent it back. I got a replacement free of charge within days.
I can honestly say I've not witnessed such a quick response and great customer service.
Yes I had a couple of small problems with hardware, but that's down to the manufactuers and not EasyPC UK. I've dealt with another online computer shop and their hardware had MULTIPLE major problems and it cost me to send it back, in the end I gave up and got a refund due to their ill mannered replies in the Emails.
