I had a paid add for 1 year, I have always being receiving emails from them telling me that they had a mach, which was never a mach, then all of the sudden I realized that my add was having some problems and not sure for how long it had the issues. I contact them about it and few months later still got no reply!!!!!! I got 2 people interested which I had to threat them with the police if they didn't stop contacting me, 1 wanted more than a 'room mate' and another was ringing me each day 'few times' to speak with me and telling me that HE MISSED ME, even that already agreed that we wouldn't not be sharing, I have only meet weirdos, I even asked couple friends to check out my add, in case there was something that could be misunderstood, and nothing was out of place ... Separate to that my account had problems how knows for how long and as mentioned I had to dis activate while I asked them what had happened, and request a partial refund and I'm still awaiting!!!!! By pure coincidence I was telling about it to a friend and his landlord also had similar experiences as a paying landlord. My advice, stay away and don't waste your money with them. :-(. To top it up, I have contacted them about highly possible scamers and they never looked into it. :-(

The daily matches are only a summary of all the new ads posted in the last 24h and it gives you an over view of the members looking for a room. Currently, the daily matches you receive by email only consider your rent and location. We understand it can be frustrating to receive matches that don't correspond to 100% of your criteria. Rest assure that we are actively working on improving our matching system; you will soon see the results of the hard work our IT developers are putting into the matter. In the mean time, you have on your account, on the "My Results" page, a function called "Advanced Search". From this function you can precise your ideal flatmate profile, in detail. Once you have set the filters on the "Advanced Search", all Members on your Results list will match your criteria.
Two of the Members who contacted you for the room turned out to be a handful, we are sorry about that. Did you know that on each profile page there is a link called "Flag this Profile"? We created this link to avoid any uncomfortable experiences, like the one you had. You can also use this option in case you are suspicious of a profile. We take our Members' online safety extremely seriously. Once you click on that link, the Member is automatically flagged, and you get to leave a comment to explain the situation. Any profile that has been flagged is thoroughly investigated by a trained agent and the necessary action is taken; in your case, the accounts would have been removed from the website. We obviously don't tolerate any inappropriate behaviour. However, we cannot be hold accountable for the user's behaviour and manners, if they posted a genuine ad.
