I have just used ebookers for the first time and it seems that it is a very smart and cost effective way to book travel tickets.

I am travelling in a month or so and will have a better understanding of how good the system is once i get there and back.

Ebookers - Easy to book!!

I have used ebookers on several occasions and have found the experience to be a good one every time!!

could not understand the operator properly

english was not as good as the customer service i received was the following day to amend the spelling mistakes. Very slow to input the data given

I booked most of my holiday booking through e-bookers with minor dissatisfaction.

This is fast and easy website to book your holidays and would recommend this site. However, I was not satisfied with following minor things:
1- They offered 15% discount for any hotel booking unconditionally. When I cancelled my other booking and booked through e-bookers, I found this is misleading and I could not have this discount because the hotel I booked claimed that are not included in the eligible list.
2- For any booking they offer 10-15 dollars voucher for next booking. When you would like to claim the software does not let you to do it and you are address.
3- The charges for credit card at last stage of booking is not fair, while you are paying the hotel and air fares fees few months in advance.

Attractive choice of well-priced flights and hotels.

Search software is quite powerful, but not unfailing (book direct flights only ! Otherwise it will send you from Madrid to Rome via London etc.)
Do not redeem bonus, you may find yourself paying 10 £/month membership fee to a weird "Premium" Club.
The ebooker world runs in UK£ (obviously, since based in London).
All in all, a good interesting service, which I recommend, but still to be used with attention and caution.

disappointed when you see your hotel reduced in price within a week of booking

I am a bit disappointed when I booked a hotel just a few days ago, then see a reduced price for the same hotel and dates advertised.

Easy Peasy.

This is the first time I have used Ebookers after they had been recomended by a friend in the UK who uses them whenever she travels.
And even tho I was doing this from Australia,It could not have been easier,In fact they were supberb.

Irritating process with poor cross boundary functionality

Had to go through process three times
had to phone call center to ensure they had not processed pervious attempts
Payment not in own currency so I will have to pay the banks exchange rate charges
Not very good.

Does not allow payment in installments on the credit card but gets the job done.

efficient and curteous

The whole setup is efficient speedy and most of all competitive. Whats more is that if a problem or query occurs they're oly a phone call away! My first time booking with them but I would definitely use them again!

Looking for a one night stay for one, on a holiday weekend Sunday, I was expecting to pay over the odds. However, after comparing several websites, ebookers offered the best price AND an additional discount through their mailing list email. So it turns out that a weekend night in the city is significantly lower than the rest of my stay in Ireland. Result!

Great to order

Order a hotel at Canary Wharf in London. Saved $100. Very happy.

Taking it easy, not hanging on the line......

I was looking for a late break in New York and struggling to secure a holiday that met all of my needs. Tried all of the main on line sites, as well as visiting a couple of local travel agents-all failed on price and specification. Phoned ebookers, 25 minute later job done, specification met and better off by £200. The call centre operative was really good, knowledgeable, well trained and very pleasant which was appreciated.

DO NOT book with ebookers me an my partner booked with these at last minute break we booked at around 10am in the morning and the flight was at 2.10 we went to amsterdam when we landed and got the hotel we got told it had been canceld at 3pm while we was on our flight. We phoned ebookers and was told card payment didn't go threw but yes we got our flight ok it was all booked together on same card I would never book with these again very bad!

As the flight payment was taken directly by Easy Jet as a separate payment this transacted Successfully.

As it was a last minute reservation for check in the same day our team cancelled the element of the booking that had not been paid for.

We appreciate the disruption this caused but do reserve the right to cancel any arrangements for which payment has not been made.

agreed to be charged to a total number, charged three times (three different transactions!) on my bank account, i ended up paying 34 USD that I don't even know what I paid for!

1. £2.00 pre auth system check prior to payment being taken which was not physically transacted.

2. A charge from ebookers for our service fee

Fast efficient and painless!

I had the devil's own job trying to book a Ryanair flight through the Ryanair site, screen kept coming up with the message that it was taking longer than usual to proceed to the next step and did I want to cancel. Yes I did....and went looking for another airline.
Thought I'd try through Ebookers.....first time.....and lo and behold there was the Ryanair flight I had been attempting to book! I wonder, I thought, and tried booking through Ebookers.....and it went straight through! Moral of the story....leave it to the experts! Thanks so much!

I had booked with Ebookers and got a good price on my flight. Afterward i saw on my bank statement i had been charged twice, this was due to a computer glitch on my end.
I contacted Ebookers on their Chat service and got 5 star treatment to solve the issue. Everything was explained clearly and no grumpy agents that make you feel bad for contacting them. I got an agent Kristal who was more than helpful and stayed in contact all the time until the issue was solved.

Desperate to fly someone same-day from London to Romania; Expedia had zero flights; Ebookers had tons, and the prices were great. We made an error in the traveler's name and the very helpful phone support cancelled our ticket and gave us a refund; we rebooked immediately at the same price. How great is that?

To be fair the customer services 'team' did try and resolve my issue - but I don't want issues in the first place and this was an issue generated by them.

In the end it cost me a third more than anticipated and I had to accept that or lose the lot.

Not a great experience.

A stress free experience

Have not used ebookers for some time but following a problem trying to book a flight to the USA via another website decided to give them a go. Should have gone to them first. Their website was simple, easy to use and efficient. Booking completed and e-tickets received within minutes. Will definitely stick with ebookers in future.

Straightforward, competitive and efficient

The website booking process was straightforward and efficient. The e ticket arrived within the indicated 45 minutes. I liked the provision for specifying type of seat (aisle or window) and entering the frequent flyer number. I did not like having to pay a service charge for payment by credit card.
