No tricks like the other sites

I like the fact that Ebookers offer you a real discount and gives you your total payments upfront. When they send you a coupon it is not a wild chase to stay in some plcae where you really dont want to. I will continue to business with them because they beat the competition.

I trust ebookers website

Whenever I am looking for flights or holidays I check ebookers. Not necessarily the cheapest flights but is a company that has been around for a while so I trust it. I think ebookers is better for holidays or hotel and flight offers.

Friendly website, very organized and trustfull.

Site very easy to use and helpful to plan a trip.
Sorting and ranking are very useful as well.
I can feel confident about my safety and getting what I am looking for in my trip.

I understood my booking wouldn't be charged until we were leaving Hotel Blandford !!!

I have been debited $1553.95 on my Visa card which I was lead to believe the charge wouldn't be made until the 15/8/2013 and I am in a situation where I wasn't prepared for this otherwise I would not have booked now.

Dear Mrs Thompson - although we do sell properties on a retail basis where payment is made locally the hotel you booked does require prepayment at the point of booking.

This would have been displayed for you at the point of sale but if this causes an issue for you our service team can cancel the property for you with no charge.

Any rebooking would be subject to availability.

Great hotel we found in dublin with hassle free booking with fantastic discount.

First rate service and very helpful when needed.

Would recommend ebookers for flights , easy to use and understand booking forms and when additional information required telephone manner of staff first rate. I will be using again as flights excellent value, flights I booked where identical to many other companies (same airline and times) but much cheaper .

No record of my booking yet charged my account. 8 emails and 5 calls later still waiting for callback!

I made a booking with ebookers after having read the positive reviews. It said the booking had gone through and that I would be receiving a confirmation email shortly. Next day no confirmation email so I called them. Apparently there was no record of my booking whatsoever! Yet they were holding money from my account.

After 4 phonecalls to them and several hours of being on the phone between them and my bank there was still aparently no record of m booking whatsoever. I explained to them that they must have my bank details and my name and address to be able to hold payment from my account. An hour or arguing later, they magically found a record of my booking but apparently it had not gone through. I asked them why not as my bank had told me they did not stop any payments and they kept telling me they did not know why but the payment would 'fall off' within 7-10 days and I could rebook then.

I told them this was not good enough as the prices of the flight had already gone up £35. They told there was nothing they could do and they could not even match the price of the flights. I said this simply was not good enough as I was now having to pay an extra £35 because of their incompetence. I was told I would receive a call back within 2-4 hours. My partner in this time rebooked at the higher price as he did not want it to go up even more and he wasn't aware that they had already charged the account and they had no record as he was at work and so was I! He just thought it had not gone through. It went straight through even though there was less money in the account so I do not understand what the problem could have been in the first place.

Four days later I have received no call back. I wish we had not booked with them at all. If this is what is happening before we've even taken off, what can we expect from the holiday?

Maybe they do it on purpose so customers end up paying more. Oh and they also charge you £10 to pay by debit card and £25 to pay by credit card which they don't show you till you reach the end page! They then also after you've booked tell you baggage check in is not included so you have to pay on top for that. It's just one thing after another.

I'm temped to report them to watchdog because I don't really understand what kind of show they are running here. I am still waiting for that call back.

good if your flexible, prices change a lot

I regularly use ebookers to find the best deals available for flights and couldn't recommend their service more. However, this time I was shocked by the price increases between 5 second clicks of going from the search to the booking (£100-200). I was able to find a good deal, but only after making myself more flexible than I had originally planned, hence the mixed review.

i would like to find out on the airfare and payment it is in british pound? Can it auto in singapore dollars as im doing the booking and my currency is in SIN dollars.

When printing the electronic ticket i notice the ticket have some informations on hotel booking. Can the airticket not to mixed up with the hotels informations as i only purchase the airticket.

Anyway i appreciate your prompt service and would like to buy more tickets from you and recommend it to my friends and relatives.

I have just used ebookers for the first time and it seems that it is a very smart and cost effective way to book travel tickets.

I am travelling in a month or so and will have a better understanding of how good the system is once i get there and back.

I have used ebookers on several occasions and have found the experience to be a good one every time!!

could not understand the operator properly

english was not as good as the customer service i received was the following day to amend the spelling mistakes. Very slow to input the data given

I booked most of my holiday booking through e-bookers with minor dissatisfaction.

This is fast and easy website to book your holidays and would recommend this site. However, I was not satisfied with following minor things:
1- They offered 15% discount for any hotel booking unconditionally. When I cancelled my other booking and booked through e-bookers, I found this is misleading and I could not have this discount because the hotel I booked claimed that are not included in the eligible list.
2- For any booking they offer 10-15 dollars voucher for next booking. When you would like to claim the software does not let you to do it and you are address.
3- The charges for credit card at last stage of booking is not fair, while you are paying the hotel and air fares fees few months in advance.

Attractive choice of well-priced flights and hotels.

Search software is quite powerful, but not unfailing (book direct flights only ! Otherwise it will send you from Madrid to Rome via London etc.)
Do not redeem bonus, you may find yourself paying 10 £/month membership fee to a weird "Premium" Club.
The ebooker world runs in UK£ (obviously, since based in London).
All in all, a good interesting service, which I recommend, but still to be used with attention and caution.

disappointed when you see your hotel reduced in price within a week of booking

I am a bit disappointed when I booked a hotel just a few days ago, then see a reduced price for the same hotel and dates advertised.

Wrong information given, pushy online sales "help"

I spoke with someone called [Name] via the live chat window as i was having trouble deciding on which hotel to book. I wanted a high quality hotel with a pool for the children. I eventually decided on K-West in London and asked to have it confirmed that children were allowed use of the pool which was confirmed so I went ahead with the booking and paid in full.
I then discovered via the hotels website that the pool can only be used by adults 18 or over. When I phoned eBookers I was told that they would cancel the room but it would take 7-10 days for the money to go back on my card, meaning that I would have to effectively pay in full for 2 hotels which I could not afford. Bearing in mind that takes me up to the dates that I actually will be going away, this is not acceptable. I then got cut off before any conclusion was reached.
I phoned back and cancelled my booking and booked through [Link] which was so much easier and clearer.
I will never book through eBookers again.

Easy Peasy.

This is the first time I have used Ebookers after they had been recomended by a friend in the UK who uses them whenever she travels.
And even tho I was doing this from Australia,It could not have been easier,In fact they were supberb.

Irritating process with poor cross boundary functionality

Had to go through process three times
had to phone call center to ensure they had not processed pervious attempts
Payment not in own currency so I will have to pay the banks exchange rate charges
Not very good.

The whole setup is efficient speedy and most of all competitive. Whats more is that if a problem or query occurs they're oly a phone call away! My first time booking with them but I would definitely use them again!

Looking for a one night stay for one, on a holiday weekend Sunday, I was expecting to pay over the odds. However, after comparing several websites, ebookers offered the best price AND an additional discount through their mailing list email. So it turns out that a weekend night in the city is significantly lower than the rest of my stay in Ireland. Result!
