I ordered a racing wheel over two weeks ago, tempted by very attractive pricing. Two weeks later, there is no sign of my racing wheel. They didn't even bother to send me any update, when the weel will be available for instance.
It's only now when I checked them on TP, and suprise, suprise - I'm not th only one here.
Asa general rule - avoid.
i was warned about using this company but i wanted a cpu (i7 6 core) and these had the best price apart from ordering abroad so i bit my tongue & ordered the processor and some ram as well, after 4 days of waiting i called them and wasnt very happy with their customer service at first i felt patronised over the phone grr anyways this young lad told me the order was on hold as they needed to wait for the cpu to come as they didnt have it in stock? so he said it would be just two days more, & again i waited & waited it took almost two weeks to arrive and by then i was pretty annoyed i could of got it for ten pounds more expensive and got it within 4 working days from another company? anyways the packaging was decent and i did have a call from them telling me how long it would be so the customer service was ok i would still give them just two stars as the website was stating delivered in 2 working days which didnt happen and ive read and heard lots of bad reviews of them and bought against all of them and dont i regret it now.
Some companies go to great lengths to hide their customer reviews from the public! & Eclipse Computers do exactly that! they have people who work for them create fake FB profiles just to be able to put positive reviews on here & i know this as my brother worked for them uptill recently and was one of the ones who was doing just that.. NOTE most of the posative reviewers are new or only have made one review loool speaks volumes, These are an absolute terrible company and buy off them at your own peril i bought £600 worth of parts and was messed about so much and lied to as well as been spoken too like an idiot i wont ever recommend them or use them again BUT dont listen to me read the negative reviews....make your own mind up..

great knowlege and happy service they take time with customer and have good stocks, my experience of eclipse was very good cant say any more that.
I was recommend to buy from here, I would buy again. I purchased a full computer to build myself, a few parts were out of stock but they offered alternatives that they out in at no extra cost. I was always kept updated with the status of my order by Stuart. The prices are excellent and the order was well packed.
Purchased a BitFenix Prodigy case from Steve at Eclipse Computers. He was extremely helpful from start to finish. I would strongly recommend this guy should you wish to buy any equipment from Eclipse Computers.
To the management at Eclipse: This guy is a credit to your company, and because he was so helpful I would be delighted in using your company again.
My local computer retailer, over the years I've nipped over more times than I can blink in a day and not once have I had an issue with service. Always friendly, always approachable and willing to help from the biggest to the seemingly smallest and rookie issues you may have with your PC. A big thank you from me!
i would defanatley recomend them bought loads from them unlike some online places these guys have got a badass shop so u know u got some one to talk to if the need arises bought a cpu i bent the pins the chap told me i vioded the warranty but still had it repaired realy help full wen i need something i call get everything put to one side and go pay and collect keep up the good work defo buy you wont regret it peace out
I've been dealing with Eclipse since 2000 and I'm still getting stuff from them now... so they must be doing something right !
I have always found the service to be first-rate. Never any quibbles about anything and always a good stock of gear to choose from. They are also very good at suggesting an alternative when something isn't in stock.
I have bought all manner of parts from upgrades to complete systems . I had a system made and delivered for my daughter which turned up in a very respectable 3 days and a couple of DIY systems ( a quite excellent way of choosing a system ) both of which arrived the following day. I'm not sure that it would be physically possible for anything to arrive any sooner.
The staff are always very friendly and courteous on the telephone and e-mails get a good response , often personally by telephone.
With only one exception , ( a duff Video Card) everything I have ordered ( and there has been a LOT) has arrived quicker than expected and worked perfectly and the three systems are all working fine as well , as is my antique much-upgraded old system , come to that !
I really would recommend them highly
I bought half of my current system from Eclipse Computers, they were extremely friendly and when I phoned to ask about my order they tracked and made sure that I received my parts the next day! The prices were a lot more competitive than other computer specialists and I found they had a lot of the parts I wanted in stock. I would recommend Eclipse computers to other people building their systems.
Went to eclipse and got my self a GTX 550TI and after a week it failed on me, went back and they tested for free and found out that the GPU was dead. they give me credit that allowed me to buy the ATI 7770 black edition for the same price XD
Happy all around
Good shop and great prices will continue to trade with them XD
Nice bunch of guys, I ordered a motherboard bundle and ordered the wrong type of motherboard. They nicely resolved my error and at a very fair price, I would use these guys again! The owner also said I was thick, smooth and lusciously creamy

I ordered an motherboard that I needed asap and wow you delivered the very next day. I was speachless. I was well spoken to very clearly and friendly, I knew that I was speaking to some one who understood me from the start. I have brought a few items from this company and have found this company to do there best not to let you down in anyway. I am a buyer of software and componants for a company and I will be reconmending you to them to buy from your selfs. So keep up the way your company is going and very good luck in the future.
Many thanks to all ( Steve & Mike
Really good guys polite friendly and throw in a upgrade fan for the same price due to stock being sold out. Pleasure to use them never had problems with them in the past have used them for over 15 and going. I recommend the site to many and with my delivery came with in 7days. Keep up the good work guys and Steve all ways a pleasure speaking to u and you're staff.
I purchased the components for a gaming PC and was going to build the computer myself. However found out that actually they do a system where they will build the machine for you, for no extra cost.
So let me explain my experience for you. Firstly, I spent approximately £1000 on this computer, a number of the components that I ordered were actually out of stock (not listed on the website) and they were unable to obtain the parts for over a month (WHAT?) and there was no guarantee they would even have the parts then. All of the alternatives were cheaper as I could not afford more in my budget.
Secondly, even the alternative parts were often out of stock and I had to wait for them to be delivered to the store as well. My computer was sent out weeks after I was initially meant to receive it. The only thing that stopped me complaining about this organisation sooner was they actually had ONE outstanding member of staff who did end up giving me a better PSU than the original one I asked for, for the same price as the original one due to it being out of stock (shocker that).
Finally, I opened my computer up today due to my PSU fan running on idol at 5500 rpm. The noise of this is ridiculous and it does indeed shorten the life of the fan. Opening the pc was not a problem, however I soon realised the problem was with the sensor on the PSU fan. The easiest way to resolve this would be to buy a new heat sink and fan. Only to find out that actually the muppets at Eclipse Computers have GLUED every single component into my motherboard. If I now want to replace anything in my pc, including the CD drive, fans, graphics cards etc I have to apply heat to my computer to try and melt the glue.
What would normally be a £40 quick replacement job has turned into a whole lot of hassle. Would definitely not recommend using this company at all. Shoddy business model with no interest in their customers at all.
Avoid like the plague.
I ordered a Blue Ray drive 2 days ago, then I phoned them today to ask what is the order status and they told me that they are awaiting stock for my order... It means I could probably be waiting for weeks without knowing why I'm not receiving my order!
This is one the least serious shops I've ever seen, they don't even send you an email to notify that they don't have stock at the moment, instead they keep you waiting until you get angry and decide to contact them.
I obviously cancelled the order and asked for a refund.
At least, the customer service replied very quickly.
I ordered a Mainboard to replace mine. I needed it urgently for a Monday morning delivery to my customer so I paid for the expensive Saturday delivery. I waited in and no delivery. I email and phoned on the Saturday and could not get hold of anybody.
Very early on Monday morning I drove for two hours to the shop so I could get the machine back to my customer. I was told that the they had none in stock and nothing else would be work with the configuration I had. I walked over to the shelf and the first box I came to was a better mainboard than I ordered. I asked for a refund, stating they were in breach of contract as they had not delivered as requested. They of course refused stating it was out of their hands as the problem was with the delivery company. I had to pay as I was running out of time to satisfy my customer.
I've left this with my solicitor who is issuing them was a bill for my lost time and effects to my business.
They have no idea about the products, no idea about customer service and no idea about stock.
The mainboard turned up 10 days later. The board was only in its anti-static bag, no cardboard box, no protective packaging with an address label that had been handwritten by a two year old. They had not sent it Saturday delivery.
Avoid, avoid, avoid...
I ORDERED A MOTHERBOARD FOR A BUILD THAT NEEDED DOING ON A TIGHT TIME FRAME, SO I ORDERED ONLINE ON THE MONDAY NIGHT GRANTED IT WAS 7PM, I PAID THE EXTRA £8 FOR "NEXT DAY DELIVERY" SO TAKING IT WAS SO LATE THEY WOULD ONLY BE ABLE TO SEND THE BOARD OUT ON THE TUESDAY, PLEASE BARE IN MIND THIS PC I WAS REBUILDING WAS FOR A CUSTOMER HE WAS PAYING GOOD MONEY AS THEY WANTED IT ASAP DUE TO THEM RUNNING THEIR ONLINE BUSINESS FROM HOME, THEY ONLY HAD THE ONE PC AS THEY HAD JUST STARTED SOME MONTHS EARLIER,
ANYWAYS AS PROMISED I WOULD HAVE IT TO THEM BY FRIDAY, SO THE FOLLOWING DAY I EMAILED THEM (ECLIPSE.COM) IN THE MORNING FIRST THING TO ASK CONFIRMATION THEY WAS SENDING THE BOARD ON THE TUESDAY...TWO HOURS WENT PAST..NOTHING THREE HOURS...FOUR HOURS...FIVE HOURS SO I CALLED THEM & SPOKE TO SOME REALLY ARROGANT GUY I SIMPLY ASKED WHATS GOING ON AND HAVE THEY RECEIVED/READ MY EMAIL TO WHICH HE REPLIED " HEY WE ARE BUSY OK WE WILL GET UR ORDER SORTED WHEN WE CAN PAL" AT THIS STAGE IN THE GAME I TOLD HIM I WANTED TO SPEAK TO HIS MANAGER TO WHICH HE TOLD HE WAS THE MANAGER? I TOLD HIM WITH THAT ATTITUDE I DOUBT IT! I ASKED FOR THE PROPRIETORS NAME AND CONTACT DETAILS TO WHICH HE TOLD ME TO EMAIL THE COMPANY ON THEIR WEBSITE??? GRRR
I THEN PUT THE PHONE DOWN ON HIM! I WENT FOR A SHORT WALK CAME BACK AND HAD A CUPPA TO CALM DOWN, SO WEDNESDAY CAME POSTMAN CAME AND WENT..NOTHING I WAITED IN ALL DAY FOR A COURIER WHICH NEVER TURNED UP? ...NOTHING! THURSDAY CAME...NOTHING...FRIDAY CAME...NOTHING... SO I CALLED MY BANK UP AND TRIED TO CANCEL THE ORDER TO WHICH THEY TOLD ME UNLESS I PAID VIA EBAY OR ON A CREDIT CARD I THINK THEY SAID I CANT CANCEL THEY WOULD HAVE TO CREATE A INVESTIGATION WITH ECLIPSE.COM AND ASK THEIR SIDE OF THE STORY, I WAS FURIOUS! I HAD TO TELL THE CUSTOMER THEIR PC ISNT GOING TO BE READY FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER WEEK UNTIL I CAN GET ANOTHER MOTHERBOARD AND AS I LIVE IN A VERY RURAL LOCATION THERE ISNT ANY OTHER SHOPS LOCAL,
WITH GREAT COINCIDENCE THEY (MY CUSTOMER) HAD LOST AN ORDER DUE TO THE DELAY AND MESSING ABOUT FROM ECLIPSE.COM WITH AMOUNTED TO £1500! DUE TO THE FACT THEY WASNT ABLE TO CHECK THEIR EMAILS (OUTLOOK EXPRESS) I COULDNT APOLOGISE ENOUGH AND ALTHOUGH I RECEIVED THE MOTHERBOARD IN THE END SOME 9 DAYS LATER THEY HAD STILL CHARGED ME THE £8 FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY AND THE MOTHERBOARD I THINK WAS PACKAGED DELIBERATELY IN A BAD WAY! SO THANK YOU ECLIPSE YOU HAVE COST ME A CUSTOMER & MAYBE LOST MORE DUE TO LETTING THEM DOWN AND YOU HAVE ALSO COST MY CUSTOMER £1500! I WILL NEVER USE YOU AGAIN NOR WILL I ADVICE ANYONE TO USE YOU! FROM THE COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE OF THE STAFF WHO PICK UP THE PHONE FROM TO THE LACK AND IGNORANCE OF THE STAFF WHO READ AND SHOULD REPLY TO CUSTOMERS EMAILS! RIGHT TO THE TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE DELIVERY TIMES WHICH YOU LIED ABOUT!! YOU SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! SHAME ON YOU!!!
During the 2 years I have had my Eclipse computer it has been back to them at a huge delivery cost and to a repair by a local comp. shop, and now it has gone into almost terminal decline yet again. The problems have been numerous and their support deplorable. Bits have been stuck in with a glue gun and have fallen out. This was done when I returned it to them initially
My advice to anyone considering buying an Eclipse computer is :

Have used them for years. They rip off their own customers though by offering amazing online prices, yet when you save them the hassle of having to deliver them and go to buy from the shop, they put on over inflated prices and cannot justify it when you ask them why.
In addition to this, I had a computer from there a couple of years ago. Asked for the memory to be increased which they offered to install for me free of charge, I allowed them to do this and picked up the computer the following day. It became the BSOD computer! (Blue Screen Of Death). I ran diagnostics and found it was faulty memory, but when I returned it to them and told them what the problem was, they refused to believe me but took it in for testing, a week later they told me it was fixed, denied it was the memory and I took it back. Again I had the same problem and this time was even accused of it being down to software I was installing... This was ridiculous as even the error code reflected faulty memory. Finally they tested it and eventually admitted it was faulty memory, they replaced it but I by this time had gone several weeks without a PC for something that was extremely quick and easy to fix.
While I will use them for small items when its convenient, I now make a point of trying to find alternative suppliers
Granted that prices are very unbeatable, I chose to put up with the usual not quite up to par customer services. Also even when the item was faulty, there was still re-stocking fees applied.
I guess it's a gamble you choose to make when you want stuff cheap.
Overall, you still get more bargains out of them than you pay in re-stocking fees.
I bought a budget gaming computer from Eclipse several years ago because of the simply unbeatable value. Unfortunately, whilst the computer is still working, 4 years on it is suffering from extremely bad over-heating, the front headphone jack never worked and over the years almost half of the USB ports have broken. Upon close inspection of the computer components, it's very clear that the models inside where the cheapest of the cheap, with clear emphasis of quantity over quality, although I can't really fault that because I was looking for pure power, not quality of components. Eclipse also supplies peripherals, hardware and software all at a very cheap price (although delivery is extremely expensive).
The customer support has also brought my rating down. The keyboard that I bought with the computer broke a week after I received it. I returned it to Eclipse, who promptly sent it back claiming it was working. It clearly wasn't, having tried several adaptors and numerous battery exchanges. I sent it back again, for the same result. Poor customer service.
Due to my bad experiences with Eclipse, I've turned to a more reputable company (Chillblast) for my next computer, and the customer service is refreshingly good compared to Eclipse. Buy from them by all means if you need excellent value for money, but don't expect any kind of help if you run into problems.
Nothing in stock - although they advertise as 'Normally in Stock', Late Delivery - Twice, Item boxes already opened by someone else, poor communication via email, cannot get hold of them by phone... the list goes on. They have made me depressed all weekend with failed promises.
