I should confess I'm a loyal client of EconomyCar Rentals.com. This company attracts me by quality of services and acceptable price of rent. I've already reserved a car in this company three times. Everything was Ok. last time I used program with zero exceed, but we had a car accident. EconomyCar Rentals company paid back to me a refund which was charged by local rental partner for damage.
I'm going to use its service in future because it's comfortable for me.

I had lots of doubts about the website and the rental company at the beginning. I found really a good deal for the renting and was not sure if this could be real. But surprisingly when I went the rental office they gave us a brand new Car which has extra specifications stated in our agreement. Car was ready when we arrive the office and took only 5 mins. to get it. Drop station was also very fast it took only 3 mins to make inspections and they release 100 Euro that they blocked from my Credit Card just after the inspection. Nothing could be better...Thanks EconomyCarRentals :)
When I arrived to MIA airport Alamo did not accept the terms of my reservation. They said that the type of car selected will be more expensive and I must pay for the second driver.
Easy to book, was delivered as ordered right on time by a frindly and informativ representative - Perfect.
Do not usually write reviews but this service merits comment. We have rented thru Economy in 4 or 5 countries, a couple numerous times, and have had excellent results in each. A problem a few years ago in Boston, when the local partner did not accept the rate quoted on the voucher required 2 e-mails from me and Economy arranged a refund from the local company for the difference!! It just feels like Economy has got your back especially when you you take the car back!!
I have been using economycarrentals for last 3 years and rented car at least 15 times. Never had any problems and always got very good rental quotes. Being frequent traveler and the owner of all possible travel discount cards I was still never able to find better rental quote than here. Well, things sometimes don't go according to the plan and I slightly damaged rental car being in NZ. Having purchased full coverage while booking car via site I was able to refund damage expenses later on communicating with support agents. It took time (which is understandable with insurance cases), but eventually everything was dealt in professional manner!
I do recommend this site. Always good rates and professional service.

Provider gave us a first car with the car recharger broken so the navigator was useless. They took two hours to change the car in a smaller one. This second one was dirty and it was missing the boot cover so they let us wait to clean the car and insert the cover. We waited at car rental parking. The second provider who gave us the second car didn't speak English.
The Navigator provided was a very old Garmin who restarted every time we restarted the car engine. Some maps wasn't present and street have not been found in same cases.
In my claim (against Alamo) I actually tried very hard to get Alamo to pay. The damage to the car was already there on collection, and I thought why should Economy Car Rentals have to pay for something that is the fault of Alamo !!!! But in the end thank you Economy Car Rentals.
Had to wait for 2 hours for the car. Tried to talk us into taking out accident excess insurance at €28 per day. The air con didn't work and the GPS they gave us the wrong cable so went flat after 1/2 hour from the airport. Went to a branch office who were no help. Had to alter our trip because we got lost, wasted hours trying to find hotel and get back to the airport from Sorrento. I would never use them again, everybody waiting to get a car was very upset at the long wait with slow service by a few staff, no seating near the counter to view your ticket number made it even worse.
If you are older than 26 you get really cheap offers! Unbeatable!
Some four months ago while in Hungary I hired a car from Economy Car Rentals.
Unfortunately as a result of bad weather the car was damaged while being driven by me.
I had full insurance cover but in good faith erred in not reporting the matter to the local
Police which error would justify a demand that I pay the full damage in no small amount. Notwithstanding their right to demand payment from me, Economy Car Rentals kindly waived such right to payment.
Should you need to hire a car while overseas, I warmly recommend that you do so through them as I will do when next in their area.
This is my first time that i rent a car and not from the rental companies , I visits every three months in Romania and I'm sure it will not be the last time that I rent vehicle from you, I really enjoyed working wite you, thank you very much
Got a very cheap deal with EconomyCarRentals. Arrived at the airport from a late flight but had no issues with the Car Rental company, got a Renaut Megane Estate instead of a Ford Focus Estate but the car was in a good condition. I highly recommend Economy Car Rentals.
Good. Lovely new Car- but car was not a stationwagen of type as we had requested.
Car did not fit description ( stationwagon) . It was a lovely new unused car but since did not fit the description we had problems. We had skis and struggled to fit them inside due to the way the rear seat folded down . Very uncomfortable for back seat passengers on our 3 hour drive to/from Ski. Renter was unable to help as they did not have car to match description and did not offer a solution. Otherwise all was ok and final price I was charged to my Cr card was ok.
EconomyCarRentals is reasonably good. I've found their company on internet. They responded to every emails I sent to them with timely and professional manner.
However their partner in Germany, which is a company called Terstappen isn't a very impressive service provider. They forfeited the 1000euro as bond even I did have credit card insurance. And they charged me for the tiny dint found at the back of the bumper which I suspected I didn't check carefully enough as the car was in damaged condition in the first place.
Economy car rental reimbursed me 6 month later for the part of the excess I paid since I'd chosen the full covered insurance from the beginning. Therefore it ends up well.
It was our first experience of car rental in Europe. There were no problems. Voucher from the "EconomyCarRental" received within 12 hours. Service in "Europcar"- perfect - polite staff, ready to help. Very good car at an affordable price. We are very satisfied and highly recommend "EconomyCarRental".
We collect the car from KL airport and its hard to find the car rental office. When we ask from people because of language problem we didn't get correct direction at all. So if they can come in to the arrival gate with the name tag that will be easier. Also when you collect the car you must pay in full by credit card only. They didn't accept the cash or bank card. Carpets of the car is not clean. They are old. We got 5 years old car but still inside is old like 10 years. But car is good as it didn't give us any troubles. When we return the car no one in the office so we had to drop the keys to the key box and come.
The staff is not much helpful.
I was a little concerned when booking via the internet that the provider would not be at the airport on our arrival in Istanbul from some Turkey travel forums. (This was not the case) .The meeting point at the Airport Vodashop was ideal as this provided me with an opportunity to get a Sim Card for my Mobile phone. After a quick call to the company their representative (Very friendly and well spoken) arrived in a few minutes ,took us to the vehicle we had requested and explained that the OGS Toll system was activated and we were shortly on our way.The car was ideal for our trip, very economical being diesel and all round 100% reliable.On returning to the Airport a quick call to the company and again their Rep. shortly arrived closing the deal with a minor adjustment for tolls-I had topped up the tank so nil extra for fuel.I would definitely recommend Economy Car Rentals for their professional excellent value for money service and will most certainly use their service again.Thank You!( service provided by Circular Car Hire in Istanbul)

I had a great experience at renting a car online on their website, clear, honest (not like the nasty Ryannair website), best price with no bad surprises (another big difference with Ryannair), very good service from their Sixt car rental partner at the Madrid airport.
I have used EconomyCarRentals several times and always had good prices and service (unlike some more well known companies). There are a number of companies with similar names so make sure you type the whole of the web address. Just had a week in Cyprus (in March) in an almost new 5 door Fiesta with a/c for £41 with no excesses and I don't think that could be beaten anywhere. My holiday provider wanted £135 for an inferior package. I highly recommend this complany.
It works like it says in the voucher; I booked a Grand Cherokee or similar and I got a 2WD SUV which I changed, for a fee, to a 4WD Chevrolet Equinox. Indeed, it did not say in the rental voucher that it had to be a 4WD. Otherwise, everything went just fine, no problems at all.

Upon the desk they told us we had to take additional insurance of 10 euro per day for the excess of 1.000,- or deposit a 1.000,-.
We chose the last option and wanted to make a reservation on our CC. That did not work, with neither of our three credit cards. So we had to take the insurance. Tired and willingly to leave, we paid the insurance.
Upon our return to the rental agency six days later we saw exactly the same thing happen to another group which rented through Economy. They had to pay 124 Euro in addition!!!
When we returned home I informed Economy about how Drive On screws it customers but the only reply I get is that I should have called Economy, they always pay back any excess but what is the point if the rental agency is willingly screwing me with my deposit which is ' refused' on the credit card.
Frankly, they don't care less if one of their cheap 3rd partners screws you over. I guess that is the risk you take when renting through Economy. By the way: I rented 3 times before through Economy without hassle but I guess good service is the benchmark. I did not even expect a refund but Economy at least do something about Drive On. Until today, that is not the case.
I had a lot of worries renting a car in Rumania due to the rumors i heard for the car providers there. I chose Economy Car Rentals because they had partners in my country and i could clarify all the terms in my matern language. When i arrived at Rumania the person was waiting for me at the arrivals of the airport and all the procedure last less than 10 minutes. They also called me twice during my 4 days stay to ask me if everything was ok and if i need any help. Moreover they received the car at the departures gate and the inspection and delivery last again less than 10 minutes. They cancelled the preauthorisation from my credit card and i left.

I was in a situation where I needed a 1-day compact car rental on very short notice for a business trip to Houston. I hunted around on the Web for nearly an hour checking out places like Kayak, DoHop, Matrix and the other usual services as well as the rental agencies and the absolute cheapest I found was $121, (not including liability insurance).
Stuck, I made the reservation and resigned myself to the bite. Later that evening my spouse came across this company while surfing and ran a search based on my requirements. At $36 for EVERYTHING, including taxes and liability insurance it was a no-brainer and the deal was done! The other company got a "Thanks but no thanks" note. To top it off the rental car company loaned me a brand-new slightly larger vehicle for nothing extra.
I had never heard of Economy Car Rentals before and must admit to being a bit skeptical of the deal but they have started w/ a bang in my book and I will definitely use them again!

I rented a car in Germany in February 2012. At the end of rental I found that there was an accident and front bumper was damaged. Probably somebody hit the car on the parking. I had damage waiver from Sixt but with additional insurance from EconomyCarRentals. Russian post office lost documents from Sixt so I was informed about reparation only in August. Long correspondence with Sixt, wrong damage in the report, new documents, finally I was charged for reparation only in the end of September. Than posting of documents to EconomyCarRental - (Thanks to the Russian post office again for the &quot;lightening&quot; delivery ;) ) ... Consideration of my application for reimbursement, finally I got confirmation and was refunded in the beginning of February =) ... But it is not the end... I did not get my money! Raiffeisen Russia lost transfer... after the visit in the bank money was found and , hopefully, after 1 year of incident this story ended successfully.
