Ordered my new decking through edecks recently and after some consultation with my wife and the edecks sales team (which was very helpful), I made my decision to go with the hardwood decking and I'm delighted with the finished article. Decking looks great and delivered on time. What more could you ask for other than a free gnome maybe!! Would recommend and use again.
I placed my order and was told they would be delivering it on Friday and would have a email to confirm this, I checked the delivery date several times throughout the order as done over the phone and I was promised Friday would be the day. I phoned up on Thursday to double check as I hadn't received my email and to my surprise I was told cant do Friday will have to be Saturday. I explained that Saturday is not really practical as work shift patterns but could take a day off if necessary, after this conversation I received my confirmation email for Saturday delivery......... I phoned up on Saturday about 3pm to check if my delivery was still coming to be told to be told, its P**sing down here and that's slowed the deliveries down (this is word for word, professionalism at its best!!!!!) he took my number and said he will contact the delivery driver and get me a eta and call me back. After about an hour of waiting I called back and was told I have been sent a email updating my order status for a Sunday delivery!!!!!
I have now placed 2 orders with Edecks totalling around £1000. The first had a large chunk of it missing. To Edecks Credit this was delivered within a few days.
My second order was simply not what I ordered. I waited longer than expected for this (tried chasing online but had to follow up with phone call for date).
With my project desperately on-hold this is a massive set-back. I called and explained to Edecks but they simply told me to use the online tool and promised to respond the same day (they even called through to the support team to expect my ticket). They refused to let me speak to anybody for a quick resolution.
At the close of the day no contact (admittedly it was 4.30pm but a promise is a promise). I now have to wait again to have this rectified and wait at home again.
Posted my frustrations on Facebook but post deleted (along with another complaint).
2 stars as the staff are polite, but not being able to talk to somebody when issues arise is enormously frustrating, and probably the main reason for poor reviews. Nobody wants to have to keep checking the inbox waiting for a resolution.
I have used eDeck 3 times previous and just placed my 4th order for over £600. I have no doubt that the delivery will arrive in 2-4 days times, as stated, and without any issues. The range of product available is enough to tackle any project that you may wish to take on, no matter how big or small, but if you can’t see what your after, just contact them, they even cut to specific length for you. If it wasn’t for the good prices offered here, I wouldn’t have been able to take on all the work I have been doing. I have always found the team at eDeck very helpful and my emails are replied to promptly. You can also check the status of your order, via the easy to follow online tracking, and get the delivery date quiet easily. I will defo be using them again should I require anything else. Keep up the good work and keep the Prices down
Phoned them to confirm delivery (they use their own lorries) , stayed in all day, they did not turn up. No phone call to let me know they would not be coming. Also the product was wrong colour.And one product was the wrong product. And they keep you waiting on an 0844 number too.
Recently bought some decking from EDecks & was very happy with the quality for such a good price. The staff were also very helpful & my decking was delivered on time. Would recommend to anyone wanting quality products for quality prices.
Recently bought some post and rail fencing from eDecks to re-fence my horses field. It was delivered within 2 days and the guys even helped me to carry it down the field :) Really easy to use the website and the quality of the fencing was good value for money.
I have just finally got around to redesigning my garden. As with everything budget was a major factor. but with eDecks I managed to buy the products I needed and still had change! If I had not found this company I would not have been able to achieve what I wanted and I would not have been able to impress the neighbours like I seem to be doing (always a good thing... ;-))
Delivery was prompt and the guys there were very helpful. Will definitely be using eDecks again for any future projects.... Thank you!
