Didn't fulfil order.

I ordered flowers for my mothers birthday at 2.10, having just had a meeting put on to the end of my day meaning I couldn't go myself to buy them. The flowers were available for same day delivery if ordered by 3pm. When I eventually got to my mothers house later that evening, there were no flowers. I assumed they would come later as delivery could be up to 7pm. When I got home I had a message from eflorist saying that due to 'business technical difficulties' my order was not able to be completed. I was offered a refund or a redelivery the next day with an upgrade. This was pointless as the flowers would not arrive on my mothers birthday, so I requested a refund. When we eventually got through to someone on the phone, we were told that the local florist who was supposed to fulfil the order had not read the order until it was too late. No check had been made to see if the order was read and if not, no alternative provision to complete the delivery was made. I would not use eflorist again as they are unreliable. I would also not use the local flower shop that were supposed to complete the delivery as not checking orders is unacceptable.
