Having placed an order for the following day I received a confirmation.
A phone call at 10.30 on the day of delivery told me it was not possible to deliver for a few days. What good is that for a lady's 90th birthday.
I have not had a confirmation that my credit card was not charged.
I will not knowingly use the company again
It is my daughter's 21st birthday today and she is away at university but not in lectures today. It is the first time we have been apart on her birthday and it's her 21st. I ordered her flowers 2 days ago and as this company advertises a same day service I expected the flowers to arrive in the morning. I would think flowers are delivered first thing when it's a 21st birthday but apparently not, it's my fault for not specifying that I wanted a morning delivery. When I rang at about 1.15 to find out where the flowers were (it was supposed to be a surprise for my daughter - she has never had flowers delivered to her) the woman hung up on me. The florist tried to contact my daughter so I rang them and they said 3 to 3.30. So my daughter and her friend waited in although they planned to go out. They arrived at 4 and she showed me on skype. She said she liked them but they don't look worth £30 to me.
My Gran has been poorly with Pneumonia in Hospital and I wanted to cheer her up. She was thrilled with her flowers (Princess Bouquet) They couldn't deliver on the same day as the Florists had shut (archiac half day closing in remote Wales) but they rang me and told me and as a an apology added more flowers to her bouquet. I can't fault their service and my Nan was a very happy Nan. Thanks ever so much!
I'm located in Toronto, I was trying to send flowers for my uncle's funeral in Ireland. The order went through on-line and I was charged. The next day which was the day of the funeral and the stated delivery day, I receive an email that states eFlorist cannot find a florist and the order is cancelled. It was too late to find an alternative.
Ordered flowers for same day delivery around 11:30am. Got a call after 2pm saying that they couldn't get the flowers delivered on the day after all. Sorry and all that, but the florist's van had broken down or something. It was only a bunch of flowers... a private car would have sufficed perhaps, but I digress.
I accept that sometimes deliveries go wrong, but to not inform me until after 2pm when it's going to be very difficult for me to make alternative arrangements unless I fell very lucky, demonstrated sharp business practice in my opinion. I felt like I was being pushed to accept delivery the following day, which was no good in this instance.
However the customer service rep (Debbie) did her very best to try and make it happen in a polite and positive way, trying alternative florists in different areas but sadly, to no avail. My money was refunded the same day although I did not get an email to advise me that this has been done; I had to enquire.
Incidentally the system where a customer naturally replies to the acknowledgement order email with a query and then gets an email back when they next log on telling them to go to a website and type the same information which was on the order confirmation email all over again is clunky, outdated and irritating. Especially when you say "Our customer support service has been improved. We now have a much simpler way to deal with queries." Improved for who? If you must use this type of system the link to the 'please don't call us unless you absolutely must' section of the website should be on the sales notification email.
I ordered my Flowers at 14:58 from Interflora (2 mins before the cut off time) and they were delivered at around 16:30 to my wife which was fantastic.
Would give zero stars if I could. Same day delivery was organised. Order was not delivered, and no communication back to me was given. I followed up the next day, so they contacted their local delivery company for an update but could not get one. I called back three times and still got no response. They were not proactive in following up and didn't call me back once. I eventually cancelled the order. I would not trust these guys if you want to know they're going to deliver on time, and keep you updated as to where things are. Terrible service.
EFlorist provide an easy to use service, I have place a number of orders with them over the last year and so far have had no problems with ordering, delivery or the standard of flowers sent.
I would recommend them to my family, friends and colleagues.
I've used eflorist twice now, and neither time have he correct flowers been delivered. Both times I have been sent items that contain white lillies, which I have not ordered. The first time, I made a complaint and was offered no compensation, not even any form of an apology, I was simply told that it was common for the company to give another order as close as possible to the originial, despite my original order being nothing like what was delivered. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt the second time and because I was unable to source flowers another way, however once again I was let down, with the item containing none of the flowers I ordered in the correct colours, and once again, white lillies.
I was sending flowers to a friend that had suffered a bereavement to an address that I had got third hand (wanted to surprise them), and wasn't their home address. I typed the address with the wrong house number in. They tried to deliver but no one was home. They tried a neighbour, who had never heard of my friend (not her house AND the wrong address), so the florist called me. When I explained, they went back and tried a couple of the houses around the number I gave and got the correct one.
That is delivering good service. The flowers were (apparently) superb. I will, without fail use them again!
I was staying at my brother's house overnight having turned up unexpected and I felt a bit embarrassed as I had a fabulous meal, cooked by the sister in law, and a few drinks but had not had time to take a small gift. On retiring to bed on my iPad I searched for local florists and came up with eflorist. I took the plunge and ordered a bouquet including deliver £35. On my journey the next morning 10.15 I got a text from my sister in law to thank me for the fabulous flowers. I checked with her the next day to make sure the flowers were good, as I have had experience of flowers delivered by another nationally well known company being of poor quality. She assured me they were brilliant and sent me a photo to prove it. I would recommend anybody to use this and I will use it again, I might even send some to my wife in the nest few days it is so easy!!!
Being on a low income, I find it hard to find things of quality that are a reasonable price. However, not only were the flowers excellent value, they were also of excellent quality aswell.
I would recommend eFlorist to anyone & everyone
I ordered some flowers as a birthday present which I remembered at th last minute. On this basis I was very happy to pay a higher charge for same day delivery. I only found out 2 days after the birthday that the flowers weren't delivered. I won't use e-florist again.
The well put together website and simplicity of choice coupled with prompt delivery make this a great company and service.
I ordered a bouquet of flowers from the christmas selection, not only could it not be supplied but the replacement bouquet was awful and delivered a day late. Never again will I use eFlorist.
I ordered same day flowers. They were not sent, the order not processed. Logistics caused me believeing that a friend was not grateful for their flowers. This caused a problem when flowers should make someone happy. Had I not chased up the order, I would have been none the wiser :-(
I ordered a bunch of flowers for a very important occasion for someone in France. I order well in advance for delivery to take place on teh day required. I didn't leave anything to chance. On the day that delivery was supposed to take place, I received a phone message to say that the flower shop in France was closed that day. Surely, I could have been told this days beforehand. The best offer I had was to deliver the flowers the following day. Pathetic.
Choice and price seemed good, and delivery options were what I wanted but was then called by very pleasant teleclerk to say my choice of colour wasn't available (it was a white azalea for Christmas) and that the earliest delivery would be a week later. Shame, as up until then, the transaction had been easy but I fail to see why an item as common as a white azalea should take a full week to find and deliver.
First time I have used eFlorist and it will not be the last.!
I needed to get some sympathy flowers to a member of staff quickly.
I was surprised to get same day delivery at a reasonable cost.
Delivery was made as promised and my employee was delighted with the flowers!
Well, I choose flowers that specified they were available for same day delivery ... but the florist phoned later & said they couldn't fulfil it that day (Saturday) & it would have to wait until Monday. Completely useless as the receiver would be at work during the week & not able to receive the flowers, and also was just about to go away on holiday so if they weren't delivered until Monday she would not have had any time to enjoy them before going away!
As I had paid for next day delivery the florist said they would add an extra £5 worth of flowers to the bouquet ... generally I would have said this was good - but not on this bouquet; I had specifically chosen a very modern, minimalistic, artistic arrangement & adding any extra flowers would quite frankly have ruined it!
I cancelled my order ... I'm not sure if I'd risk using the service again or not - generally if I want to send flowers to someone I choose an arrangement personal to them and I pick a day that is most suitable to them - if the company can't provide what they offer & what I've chosen then I think it's best to go to someone that can fulfil their promises.
My parents were very pleased to receive them as well as the chocolates! They were very surprised and they needed cheering up because they have been unwell and it did cheered them up! Thank you!
I ordered a bouquet for my friend which was suppose to be pink and mauve blooms this was chosen as my friend does not like white flowers I was so disappointed when they arrived they were predominately white and the arrangement was a joke I could have done better myself it looked awful I did complain to customer services who are not interested so I have contacted trading standards do please don't waste your money go to inter flora wish I had
Although the ordering service and extras were very clear and concise - my order was not processed until 3pm the afternoon of order when it was on a same day delivery. The man who rang was very polite but said he could not find anyone to deliver my order. The florist that order was placed with was not contacted until 3pm which was obviously too late to get a same day order for my mother in laws ruby wedding anniversary.
If there is no chance of same day delivery when order was placed at 10am then the option should be taken off. Saying that the florist made up the order with me being able to pick up flowers and I received a credit for the delivery charge straight away. But overall I felt let down as I could have placed the order somewhere else if I had known order could not be made.
I sent 2 lots and both delivered on time and safely-despite the fact that I managed to get the number of her house mixed up with the postcode on the order form due to a computer "glitch" at my end.
She was well impressed and if I look good so do you!
Unusual in this day and age to get such efficiency!
