Good old fashioned customer service and attention to detail

Ordered two very LARGE frames for some old whole school panorama photos. Simple web interface for ordering frame, backing board and mount...........Frame-it phoned to alert me to the fact the frame profile chosen may not be strong enough for the width (over 1M !) but offered an alternative as an upgrade FOC. Both frames delivered just a few days later, perfectly packed to resist even the most aggressive courier's shot putting practise. Would definitely use them again, great service, great product and competitive price too

Excellent service throughout

I ordered a custom-made large photo frame to display four photos, several mounts, and four ready made photo frames. The website was very easy to navigate and took me step by step through the procedure for the custom-made frame, giving a wide choice at each stage, as well as building up a diagram of the final frame. Similarly, with the ready made photo frames I found it very easy to select the sizes and finishes I required. Having placed my order I was given a delivery date within 5 to 10 working days. The order was delivered within this time, despite heavy snow. I was very pleased with the quality of all the goods I received and would certainly recommend eFrame.

Great operation!

I love this website, the eFrame service and the frames themselves. The choice is fantastic, it's easy to see exactly what the mouldings are like and when the frames arrived (brilliantly packed by the way) they were exactly as I hoped they would be. For me, this is the perfect halfway house between buying a cheap bog standard frame and having an expensive bespoke frame made.

Why go anywhere else?

Service was great, delivery was great considering the frames were made to order and it was free (a week), and the product arrived unscathed. Ease of use and assembly 5/5, quality of product 5/5, would recommend to everyone.

Great value, quick delivery, fantastic choice and easy to use

I've been using e-frame for all my awkward shaped picture and embroidery framing needs for about a year, and every time I am impressed by how good a likeness the website gives, how quickly my custom orders come through and the great value of the products.

The opportunity to preview 'your picture' in your chosen frame makes it easy to choose frames and mounts that complement your painting. Every order I have placed has produced a frame which looks exactly as I'd expected from the online widget. The frames represent great value compared with traditional framing costs, and the range available online is very good. All in all, I couldn't ask for more!

Not only are they very competitive as you'd expect for an online business, but their website is amazingly easy to use!

I finally got round to wanting to frame a few pictures. I never get time to go to the high street so I thought I would see just how expensive a bespoke frame would be, expecting that there wouldn't be a ready-made frame available.

I stumbled on Frame-It and the website is so easy to use that before I knew it, I'd found 3 ready-made frames and a bespoke sized one.

I think it took about 10 minutes to do the lot, including payment.

And I got a 10% discount which had no strings attached, just a plain old "here's 10% off".

Well in the frame

A great web site. It's well-laid out with plenty of information - and so easy to negotiate. Even a technophobe like me has no problem with it. Huge range and choice of frames and everything is explained really clearly. I found what I wanted in no time and the ordering process was extremely painless.

Great value for money with an extremely user friendly website!

Having just tried eframe.co.uk I found that the website was extremely easy to use and the prices are great! I'm looking forward to getting my products and will definitely use and recommend this service again!

A great product from a professional company presented very well online

I bought a custom frame for a watercolour my wife gave me. The website was great - good graphics and a real feel for what I was buying. Especially nice is the ability to upload the actual picture to simulate what it would look like in the frame. The product arrived on time, extremely well packaged and made with precision. Well done all round.

Makes buying frames on the internet absolutely worry-free

I have bought several frames from eFrame now, in various different materials and sizes, with and without various styles of mount, and have been delighted every time. I love the frame designer, which means I can upload an image of what I'm having framed and see what it looks like with different combinations of frames and mounts. It means that I can visualise the final product better than I would be able to by using a non-online framer.

Incidentally, I use eFrame just for things on my walls at home, not for any business purposes, but even as a layman I find the website extremely user-friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend eFrame for framing of any size and type - it's good to know if I'm buying something for my wall at home that I'll always be able to get the perfect frame.

exceptional!

I ordered a frame for a picture I was waiting to arrive from another supplier. I forgot to add a voucher for a discount at the time of ordering, so emailed Frame-it shortly after ordering, to ask if they could still use the voucher code? I received an email back within 10mins of mailing them, in which they confirmed that wouldn't be a problem. The lady from Frame-it (Danielle) also advised they believed the frame I'd ordered wouldn't be sufficient for the size picture I had ordered, so could they amend the frame size at no extra cost?....I agreed and the frame arrived about a week later! Now, this in itself is brilliant customer service but this is heightened when Christmas is round the corner and I never did receive the print to go in the frame in time for Christmas! Quite the opposite - I had to call that supplier who had not processed the order as they had an "issue" with my payment - but had neglected to tell me......
Anyway - WELL DONE FRAME-IT & especially Danielle!! I will be using you again!

This site is so easy to use! There is a good choice of mounts and frames to choose from. Can't wait until they arrive.

Eframes are great

I've bought over 40 frames now, it's so easy to tweak mount sizes,and colours, chose frames and the real-time graphic display of how the frame and mount will look makes it so simple to visualize. They always are packed very well too so never had any broken glass. Will use again.

Frame it had the easiest web site to follow when i was looking for frames, and, also I required unusual frame sizes which they were able to supply (unlike many others).They game me updates on the order and also followed up to ensure i was happy with products. Happy to recommend to anyone...

Excellent personal service, beautiful frames

I first used eframe a few years ago and liked that you could tailor your frame to the exact millimetre and choose from a wide range of colours and styles.

This year I wanted to get another frame to match one I bought before, and I discovered the website had been updated and made even more user friendly than before. I couldn't find the exact colour code I was looking for, but the customer service team fished out my order from years ago and sent me the correct link.

The frames come well wrapped and protected and the quality is very high for a very reasonable price.

Excellent Professional Service

I was very impressed with the frame I ordered from this company. I originally ordered it not worrying about when I would get it. I then needed it within a couple of days as we were visiting our friends earlier than planned and it was a present. I telephoned the company and spoke to a very helpful lady. She said she would see what she could do. 2 days later the frame arrived! The colour of the frame was exactly as shown on their website. It was beautifully made, the perfect size and of good quality. I would highly recommend their products and can't fault their efficiency. I would not hesitate to use them again. Their website was also very easy to use and the frame was a very reasonable price compared to other estimates we had been given.

Easy to use and perfect results

Using the website was tremendously easy and made ordering a custom frame a doddle. The finished product that arrived (quickly, might I add!) is of a very good quality. The build is perfect and the wood finish is really nice, too!

This is a great website. You should have no doubts that this is the place to go if you need a bespoke frame.

Good service and product

I ordered a specific made to measure photo mount which came as ordered and delivery was as stated and planned.
At first I thought the cost was too expensive but an estimate from two local art shops were much higher. The staff were very helpful and the drawing of what I wanted was easy to send by email.
I would recommend this company and their products.

Great quality and speedy, efficient service at a good price

We love having pictures in our home and I also enjoy doing cross-stitches which need to be framed. I stopped working when our daughter was born and it became very hard to justify the enormous expense of getting things framed at the local gallery. On the other hand, nothing looked very good squashed in to a ready-made frame, especially if it was a cross-stitch I had spent a lot of time on. I did a bit of googling and found E-frames, which is linked with Frame-It Services. Suddenly, getting things framed properly - and with lots of choices of frames and mounts - became affordable again.

The website is user friendly with many options explained clearly. The customer service is friendly and efficient. The frame was delivered quickly and in excellent condition.

Easy to use website, good prices, great quality!

I am a bit of a novice to picture framing and many websites require a bit of customer knowledge to ensure the frame fits the picture. eFrames was great for me because all I needed to know was the size of my picture and what kind of frame I wanted. This sounds completely obvious but believe me not all framing sites are this easy. Many ask for several sets of internal and external frame sizes, mounts cannot be added within the process, 15 different types of fittings are offered! After all that how can I be sure the frame will fit the picture. However with eFrames this was all done in 3 very simple steps and I was totally confident in the product I was ordering. I will definitely be using eFrames in future.

Fantastic customised service

I have been trying to find some bespoke sized frames without spending a fortune when I came across this site. Very easy to use, great range of colours and types of frames. Has the option to choose different coloured and sized mounts.
I ordered 3 and they arrived very quickly and are of a high quality.

HAve used this website for a few years now. A great way to get frames of any size made in exactly the colour/style you want. The website is super easy to use and the frames always arrive 7-10 days later - very well packed and just as ordered. A great service.

Great choice, easy to use, fab service

I love this site. The way it allows you to upload your picture and simulate how it'll look with any combination of border/frame in real time.

It's such an easy site to use and when I've needed something changed my emails have always been responded to promptly and helpfully.

Everything I've ordered has arrived on time in perfect condition and is packaged to protect it perfectly.

Frame received nothing like picture on website

I searched for a white frame on the eFrame website, and ordered what was described as a whitewash frame. The website clearly showed it being essentially white. What arrived was a poor quality frame, which was entirely wood coloured. I complained and sent them a picture, to which they replied saying no refund or exchange would be given, and just gave me the below line:

“....Please be aware that the content of the web site shows material finish and colours as accurately as possible. However, batches of material can vary in all respects as does the colour calibration and quality of computer monitors. For these reasons, if exact colour, material or other specification is important to you we suggest you contact us for advice prior to ordering as we cannot accept responsibility after the goods have been delivered.....”

Basically I wouldn't order from them unless the frame cannot possibly look different from what's on their website.

Hi Dom - we're sorry that you were not satisfied with your purchase in August as we aim to exceed customer expectations on every order.
There are 3 points I wanted to come back on.
Firstly, the colour of the moulding - it's listed within the White category as that clearly best defines it, and we have to classify all mouldings for colour, width and profile to enable the filtering system to work. I have just double-checked a sample of the moulding and it clearly has a strong whitewash finish, exactly as described on the website. If TP gave the facility to add an image file, I would! To describe it as entirely wood-coloured is not accurate.
You state it was a poor quality frame - assuming this is not a reference to the distressed finish, which is intentional and clearly described - we will always gladly correct a manufacturing defect, but from the photo you sent us, I cannot see what you might be referring to.
The difficulty we have with a custom frame being returned is that it has been made to your precise specifications and cannot therefore be resold. Products like these are specifically excluded from being returned within the Distance Selling Regulations.
In summary, we have spent heavily in time and money on our product photography (5 views, zoom facility etc) to ensure we give the most accurate representation of our mouldings and we deeply regret that you feel we've fallen short on this point. By the way, we are always happy to send a sample of a moulding if the customer is at all unsure before placing the order.

No frame after a months wait

Paid over £50 for a frame, over a month ago but so far no sign of the frame and no sign of a refund.
To be fair I think this is an issue with the delivery service rather than the company themselves, but their handling of it so far has been appalling i.e. rude and unhelpful. They have so far refused to give me a refund as they haven't heard back from the investigation with the couriers, but I fail to see how inefficiencies with their internal communication is my fault and why, as a customer I am having to pay for a cock-up with their contractors?
I would go down your local picture framers and just buy one there. This is what I had to do as a result of eframe order never turning up and it worked out fine.

Excellent service

I have used eframe twice now and have been very impressed with the speed of the service (considering the frames are custom made) and the quality of the product. I will definitely use them again.

First time user - Great Service

We ordered 4 frames from this company and they arrived on time and well packaged. The frames are of good quality (and exactly what we ordered) and each one comes with its own picture hanging kit. Would use again.

Unfriendly and unhelpful

I used to be a regular customer but had to stop using them - unfriendly and unhelpful.

Very happy with my frames

My frames were recieved in perfect condition, very well packed. They were exactly as ordered and my pictures look very good in them.

Despatch was about 7 working days which is within the time frame suggested on the web site. An email I sent, enquiring about the order was answered very promptly.

All in all a good service and one I would use again.

Overpriced. Rip off!

So much money for such a small photo. Unfriendly service. will never use again.

Wonderful Service, Wonderful Quality & Cheaper Than Others

Having ordered frames for both my work and my home on 2 separate occasions, I have received a top class product, quickly and at a price much lower than I would expect for this type of product from eFrame. The frames look beautiful around my prints and would not hesitate to use their services again. What's more I absolutely love clicking around their frame studio!

I have recommended their services to friends, family and colleagues and nobody has complained to me yet!

Does what it says it does

Came accross this website on a google search and ordered 2 frames with ease. Pleasantly surprised how cheap it was, and the website makes customisation very simple. Delivery took a week.

I will use this company again without hesitation.

Very poor customer service

Considering the frames were ready made they took a very long time to be dispatched. When they were dispatched (with no warning of what day they would be delivered until the actual day) one of them arrived broken - they were poorly packed with no bubble wrap whatsoever.

I had to send them a photo to prove that the glass was broken and then had a nightmare trying to get the frame replaced and in the end I asked for it to be refunded. This was not given until two attempts were made to collect the frame on a day when I told them I would not be in - only then was a Saturday collection arranged. They are not the cheapest company on line but I ordered from them due to online reviews. I now wish I had gone to a cheaper company as the poor service received did not justify the high prices.

Avoid - you may not get what you expect.

When the frame eventually came it was not as I had anticipated.
eframe offered no help to remedy the situation. There are other online framing companies out there and I would go to them

A great company to do business with

I today received my order only two days from placing it.

It arrived in first class condition, which given that it contained 2mm glass was excellent. The shipping and tracking of the order was brilliant and that the quality of the product was extremely good, which was a pleasant bonus given that I was concerned about the quality, being a wood turner myself and having seen some dire results available on the high street.

I must also say that the web site and the ease of ordering etc. was refreshing. First class all round.
