A good deal for main a meal
I found the website clear and comprehensive. The various meals appear to be appetising and well balanced nutritionally. As I have bought them for emergencies, they will stay packed up as I received them until required. Those I purchased have a shelf-life of around five years, so failing emergencies in that period, my wife and I will sample them at the dinner table in a few years time!

As Church members we are counselled to have an Emergency Pack
available in the event of the need to leave home at short notice perhaps for short periods of time, due to natural disasters. This seems to be the only firm catering specifically for this requirement on the internet.

Good communication, fast delivery
As the product name implies, it is an emergency food supply, so we have not had reason to test the quality of the product to date. However, the ordering process and subsequent communication, as well as the delivery were all of a high standard and are worth a good rating! Hopefully, when we do get to test the product, it will be of a similar quality. My 5 star rating is based on this assumption.

We are sorry to hear that you think that as our prices are more than competitive across the UK and Europe, and we have a price match guarantee. We would love to offer the packs at a lower cost to you, the customer, however unfortunately the nature of the freeze dried process is that it's expensive and the high quality of the ingredients will always cost slightly more than the lower grade ones and we only use the best.
However, we understand that this higher price does not work for everyone and so I would recommend that if you are serious about your food storage you should check out the following blogs for great tips and advice about food storage on a budget.

Not as much food as I expected
Have not tasted food yet, so I cannot comment on quality.
I bought a "six month" supply - a total of 24 cans. I expected that this would provide sufficient food to sustain an active person for the stated period. However, the information on each can states that it contains 8 or 9 helpings (single-course); this works out at just 1 single-course meal per day. Furthermore, it is made clear that the contents of each can should be consumed within a maximum of 1 week. This means that what should be a 26 week supply really is a 24 week supply.
All in all, I am not convinced that this would be sufficient to sustain an active person over 6 months.
On the positive side, cans arrived intact and require only a small amount of storage space.

Great service.Swift Delivery.
Emergency Food Storage is a great organisation with their finger on the pulse when it comes to current affairs that are impacting society as a whole.
As a "prepper" this organisation is a great as I was buying US Army MRE's from Ebay which were typically offshore in Germany and quite expensive and not as tasty as EFS Mountain House Range of products.
There is only one other UK based competitor called BPREP and the prices they have are not competitive.
The only suggestion I would have for EFS is that when you send your great products in the post.
Please do not use packing tape that says Emergency Food Storage all over it as when the shumer hits the fan.
It's highly likely that however delivered the parcels will remember as it declares in big letters on each package Emergency Food Storage.
It needs to be more subtle.
I don't want a "great golden horde" of hungry unwashed barbarians trying to kick off my door to get at my goods!
Get it? Got it? Good!

I have had dealings with Emergency foodstorage for several years as a customer and never repeat never been disappointed
I have made a number of purchases of Mountain House dried food from them over a period of several years,and have tried a variety of their different meals (main course)-- and I have to say the whole family loved them.
It is reassuring to know that whatever these uncertain times throw at us that we have taken the steps to enable comfortable short term survival in the event of food shortages for whatever reason
+ a good hedge against rampant inflation, the product having a shelf life of 25 years +
A young company who actually put their customers first and stand by their products- kudos to them

easy to store and quick to prepared foods.
I was looking for a supply of long storage foods, that could be stored easily & prepared easily. The weather has been getting worse over the past few years, and when it does that is usually when I go to work. Experiance has taught me not to be somewhere different from my lunch especially when your work day can turn into 3 days.

Good product but place your order well in advance
I can't fault the product but I was surprised how long the order processing and delivery times can be - up to several weeks on occasion.
Once you get used to the time scale it's not a problem. I just make sure I've got enough to hand and order more to top up.

I had a great shopping experience with "Emergencyfoodstorage.co.uk". The site was very appealing, user friendly and very informative, and they really care about us out there.

Not happy with the box the delivery comes in should not have the website name on it. Other than that everything is fine.
On my latest delivery I was asked 3 times why I was buying emergency food. Once by the guy who delivered me the box, and twice by 2 neighbours who saw the delivery. Personally I don't want people to know I have some emergency food or that I am ordering it. It's a private issue and I think you should offer the opportunity for an unmarked box when placing an order.

Valuable service for finnish clients
Emergency food storage is a good place to buy freeze dried food is larger quantities. The #10 cans are not available anywhere in Finland and the smaller packs are very expensive so we must by abroad.

Thanks for your review. The sample packs are for sampling the food only and are not intended for long term food storage.
The sample food is individually pack in sachets, which only have a shelf life of 5 years rather than the tins which have a shelf life of 25 years, however it is unusual to receive a packet with only two years left.
We have reviewed the site and found that the shelf life details on the sachets has been missed when the pack was edited. We apologise for this and have now corrected the issue.

Great, have used twice now.
I have brought twice from them and i will buy again. The food is nice and the service has always been good and when i have called them for help i have found them to be very friendly and happy to help. The only down side is it can take up to 2 weeks off the order to arrive.
