So after previously putting a phone in using this service I was not worried about the process- that soon changed.
After reviewing my pre paid envelope very quickly I followed the advice and paid for special delivery as I was sending an expensive iPhone and wanted it to get their safely. The following day I saw on my tracker that my parcel had been delivered and signed for but on my online account it was still saying this was no received.. I gave them time and checked this again the following day in which the account was still showing they hasn't received - this is where I began to worry and ended up ringing the customer services to actually check! The lady said they had received my phone the previous day and would check it for me - and ring me back- so the next day my account was still showing it hadn't been received but I finally received a phone call saying my phone is in for testing the the account would be updated. After a few days there was still nothing on my account to update me so again I had to ring to chase- the lady I spoke to advise the device had failed testing and they could only off me 30 less than previously quoted- the device failed on a chip in that I knew did not have and they agreed to put this back in for testing - Due to working I missed the call from enviro phone and rang back to find out why they had rang - the lady I spoke to advised she needed to wait for her manager to speak to me and she was currently on the phone - I asked to be called back before they closed so I didn't have to wait the weekend. This was not the case - I had to ring back again on the Monday - to be told the manager would ring me back as they were on the phone- eventually I managed to speak to a manager later on that day who advised after re testing they could offer me fill price- the money took a further 4 days to go into my bank!!
Such a long process with my account not updated correctly throughout the whole process causing me concern that my phone wasn't delivered as well as hassle in chasing when simple updates would have been sufficient!
